Seriously the most epic surf film I've seen in a real long time. The music is great the cinematography is theatrical level good and the setting is perfect. Lucky bros!

depends where you go, but 9/10 times there's options for a wave every day if you are willing to drive and hour or two. The west coast is normally always firing but can be ruined sometimes by SW winds, the east coast isn't as consistent but when it lights up there's some awesome places to search for waves
It's NZ, if they don't edit it you will work out that the waves are really quite average here, except for a handful of times a year in each region - even then it only gets to 8/10 by world standards. There a probably ten really good waves here but the best set ups are also the most fickle.
The pace of life in new Zealand is what makes it. It's so chill but also exciting.
