How To: VW 2.5L Air Filter Replacement for Jetta, Golf, Passat, or Sportwagen | Eich Motor Company

  • Most Volkswagen models from 2005 up to 2014 came equipped with a unique 5-cylinder engine. The engine was available on the Jetta, the Passat (2012-2014), and the Golf. Replacing the air filter on this motor is a little different than other VWs. Watch as Adam Means demonstrates the proper replacement procedure.

    Why would someone give this video a thumbs down? Clear and to the point, good camera, and no crappy music.

    • @kiomarv
      @kiomarv Před 2 lety +2

      Though there are legitimate reasons to give a thumbs down, some fine folks on CZcams simply do it just for the sake of doing it. The "thumbs down count party" on CZcams is finally over, though, since that counter is no longer visible to anyone except the video owner.

    Two tricks to make it easier. 1, use wd40 or silicone spray with a straw to spray the two front ones before taking it off. 2, use a clip removing tool or a screw driver to push up on the front rubber mounts. Allot better than risking cracking the plastic.
