Forrest got away with less than half the points of Everton for more than double overspend. The premier league want drama it helps their brand and viewership.

if they punished/removed referees ever time they made a mistake, we wouldn't have any football matches. A bigger issue for me is that there is a massive double standard with fouls inside vs outside the box. It's so so easy to give fouls for the softest, most predictable things outside the box (think Grealish or defenders shielding the ball then just falling to the ground), but as soon as it's inside the box, the severity has to be much higher.
"Would that be a foul anywhere else on the pitch?"

Same with PSR rules, they punish Everton, Forest and Leicester but apparently not City. Nothing against City, as far as I'm concerned they won their trophies on the pitch and should keep them but the uneven treatment stinks. If he was disabused of that erroneous belief he may well have given a penalty and I very firmly believe it was one. It would be too much for Webb to admit that they got at least two wrong. @@zig_ziggy Yeah, and wow, how some of the media have gone to town about Forest's complaints. If the number of decisions that Forest had go against them this season happened against either Utd or Liverpool then both Neville and Jamie Carragher would be claiming a vendetta against their clubs. Every team gets decisions go against them but it seems to be every game with Forest and they all seem to be big ones, like against Bournmouth, Boly being sent of for a foul on him (PGMOL apologised), against Man U, Joe Worrall gives away penalty and sent off as last man when another player was clearly last man, Ryan Yates fouled in box at home against Everton, clear as daylight, no penalty, against Newcastle keeper brings down Aywoniyi, his whole arm up to his shoulder was under the striker's leg, Williams against West Ham should have had a penalty, the farce against Liverpool when ref stopped game for an injury, Forest had the ball, if that had been inside the box it would be given to the keeper but it was outside box and Forest should have kept it. Liverpool given the ball and went on to score. Then these three bad decisions in one game in which it seems that VAR wasn't even going to look at any of them in detail. If Forest bring up that he's a Luton fan it's true, to ask why someone with an emotional connection to the result is fair, it's not saying he cheated, just saying he shouldn't be there, to avoid the remote possibility he might. I'd rather go back to the days when human error costs games instead of overbearing, self important teams of officials interfering with the flow of the game, taking up time which adds to the pressure, kitchen sink minutes at the end and still getting it wrong!

They can't sack him they've just said he's one of the 4 best ref's in the UK. Let that sink in. The person who could not see that a person sliding through the back of a player and not even touching the ball was a foul in the penalty area is at least the 4th best referee in the UK. If they sack him they'll only have 3 ref's left. And just to add insult to injury one of those top 3 referee's couldn't see how Declan Rice kicking a player in the groin was a foul. What an absolute state the officiating is in.

And sure there is missed offsides with 2cm sometimes, a wrong penalty or something for your team here now. You get upset, But you get over it and can understand.
When you watch the PL and there is more wrong each round with VAR, then what is the point?
And to see a goal and know it is a goal, not wait to see if they might find a toe offside, a little nudge by a defender in the build up or what ever.
VAR is truly taking the fun out of it. Weather statistics says it gets more correct or not.
Now referees in PL is just not blowing insteed and just rely on VAR to call for the penalty insteed. (Spurs penalty this weekend prime example of this)

Purely a legal statement by Webb. He admits to one penalty. Result 2-1. If he admits to 2 or 3 penalties it's 2-2 or even 2-3. If Forest are then relegated by 1-3 points then PGMOL gets sued. Ergo Webb will not be allowed to admit publicly to more than one error.
Webb sense. Young kicks CHO and does not touch the ball, pen. Young kicks Reyna and does not touch the ball, not a pen. Referee signals the ball hits Young's shoulder. A clear error but Attwell says nothing. Webb says no pen. Clearly a mistake by ref. It hits Young on the ARM.
Attwell is clearly not competent to be a VAR and yet will continue. The referee is not competent and yet will continue. Webb is not competent to manage these people. They all need to go.

They do this in cricket and rugby league here is Australia and this very quickly overturns and fixes any bad decisions. Even a Tennis player is granted three unsuccessful challenges per set! This will reduce bad calls and even it all out per game for each team. Please discuss or even better ask the powers above to consider this. Its not rocket science but certainly feels like it currently which is ruining the game.
