I AM BLOWN AWAY!! These springs turned out so good and look just like powder! You would never know they were sprayed from a can! I STRONGLY suggest you guys to try this on your vehicles because it looks BADA$$!! This video was posted on 11/1/20 currently at 3991 subscribers.

How do you compress the springs to install them without damaging the paint???

I bought a leveling kit for my 4runner.
4 of the 6 aluminum pieces came un-powder coated. Theyre about 4 inches in diamter, I had a shop quote me $200 for Matt black powder coat. I'm considering just painting them(?) They're not in a spot people will see.

Lacquer and Enamel are not compatible. They are suspended in different solvents. So you CAN put one onto the other, but better to use enamel base, and then the enamel clear while the base is still not 100% cured, so they bond together.
Hate to say it but 1k clear on a suspension component doesn’t last more than a couple months. Then say adios to ya paint
🙄 The damage that will be done is by rocks/gravel/sand chipping the paint. One coat of clear or 10 won't make a difference. It's gonna happen when you drive on loose surfaces so worrying about it is a waste if time. Come on, it's a rattle can job. You get chips, you touch them up, you move on, no big deal, especially with the location. But the paints not gonna just wash off with just one coat of clear. I don't use clear for any under car parts period. My differential, oil pan, callipers, all rattle can jobs, no clear on any and no fading or problems five to ten years later (5 on pans, 10 on callipers and that's with rebuilding them with them painted already. If they chip or fade, I'll touch em up where they are, not a big issue 🙄

They right paint and time can look amazing. But cost tip, primer and the rustoleom clear is usually allot cheaper at Wal-Mart least here, between the 2 stores the cans are $1-$2 sometimes more cheaper. But check my differential post where I painted my cover if you haven't. That was all spray paint.
I saw that! And I know Walmart is always cheaper but Walmart is like 15-20 mins away and I’m lazy as hell 😂

I bought them off eBay close to 6 years ago. They are all over Amazon and eBay now.
