Most professional outdoor paint job ever. Good work Sir
Thank you sir
Alright man I'm gonna try and help you out best i can here, i do this for a living but my work is mainly classic car restoration.
Starting with primer you should always spray with 1.7-2.0 fluid nozzle and you are ok to lay it on wet just give it time to flash off before applying second coat. Never go above 220 as the material needs a deeper stratch for adhesion, most primers require 180-240.
As for your sanding process you can go 400 after 220 BUT it's better to hit it with the sander as you'll remove the previous sand scratches much easier and also orbital scratches get filled by paint much better. You also need to invest in guide coat so that you'll see if primer is fully sanded out, also need sanding blocks whether it be something like dura block or a soft foam type because you just taking the paper by hand to the panel without any backing can leave finger indentations on the sanded surface
Nobody asked
@@mandoky1647 No one cares. James thank you so much for the info brother, tryna do diy paint job at home the best i can.
30 years ago, I was an 18 year old with a red GMC TRACKER. Your video reminded me of when I painted it in my grandmothers garage. I learned a lot. You brought back some nice memories for me. Great work. I have a lot of respect of DIY people. Take care.
We need more Junk Yard Episodes ‼️
Please bro.

YOOOOO THANK YOU SO MUCH. I needed a guide for my car, this is the most budget friendly paint job I’ve seen so far. Thank you, Kevin
Hope it helps!!
Now that’s what I call a good DIY car paint job. Man you killed it with this one. I’d say this is a win for you all the way. 🤙🏼
i subbed after watching the junkyard civic series great stuff!! must say the junkyard series is my fav
Def a fan favorite haha glad ya enjoy it!
Yo the editing got so much better so quickly😮. Great work bro
Appreciate that bro I was workin hard at it haha
I love the vibes, love the “yes we can” mentality, and bro just comes off so positive. Subbed in the 1st 45 seconds
Think it's cool how you don't keep out all the events of the days that come with working on cars, cause weather you're working on your car or not life goes on around you and things can come up that intervene with your process. Gives your videos more character and it's enjoyable to see what happens next, maybe not for people trying to use your videos as tutorials.
Love the videos bro. Your stuff really inspires me to want to get into more DIY stuff with my own car. Really cool how you take feedback from the comments on the processes that you're still learning. Not a lot of people are humble enough to "know what they don't know" so to speak and take feedback well from people with more experience. Can't wait for the next video!
Getting the jambs and pulling door handles/mirrors is what makes a tidy job.
first of your video ive ever watched. Love it man. Love the chill aspect of it. The comedic relief every now and then is definitely a breath of fresh air. Love the content man. Appreciate the list of pricing!
W video I love how you listened to my last comment and explained everything and every thought process thoroughly throughout the whole video keep it up!
the maplestory bgm alone earned you a sub!
Love your content bro, always so chill and ones like this are very informative!
Its always a good time when I see my boi post another video!
Your content motivated me to finally start working on my own car, keep up the great content my guy!!!
Got this channel recommended, got more knowledge about spray painting a car and if I’m being honest it was probably the best thing I’ve ever seen. Subscribed to you bro Ggs

Just about what I'm looking for. Great Job! Will use this as a guide as I'll be spraying my dsm next month
Great work brother, love the beats too in The back ground. Stay up! 🏴☠️
Great video! I've been slowly getting the confidence to spray. I've started doing headlights..but this is next..

it's gonna be awesome for you when you get a new shed to do this
Looks good man awesome job
New sub! This was a very good video and thank you for showing the tools and prices, I am thinking about getting a spray gun too will be doing my car in 2 weeks, but unfortunately I'll be doing it outside.. thanks for the tip about the bugs too!
W video bro ❤🔥
❤
@korosumyself also, you don't want primer to get wet either. It's like a sponge and we'll soak it up just like the Bondo will. Dupli-Color makes a primer sealer that works amazing. Spray can, it's like eight or nine dollars at O'Reilly's Auto Parts.
Great job bro!!!! I just got your channel and subscribed. Just saw your tires and junkyard build. Kewl
Love the vids keep up the work bro
I wish I had the patience and endurance to go these extra miles :D Great job!
the white came out quite alright
16:18 dat cat
I recommend using a hardener in ur paint. Especially when painting outside. It will cure way faster
That's a nice paint job
I really like your vids. Your vids are like a therapy and i learn a lot. Saludos desde Puerto Rico.
🙏 thanks for watching
Nice video, satisfying to watch
awesome work for a budget spray paint job might do this on my 97 Integra one day
Just found ur channel and subscribed 👍🏻
the car came out so good great job !
Really enjoy your videos bro! Just out here DIY home vids. Just something so cool about it, idk. Keep going bro. You’re a dope vibe and just a straight up dude by the looks of it. Wish I could straight up change the color of my car in New Zealand but it’s a mish.
Aye appreciate ya tuning in!!
Dang thats pretty sweet great job
love the mid video compressor upgrade :)
You gave me the confidence to try it out one day, lol ✌️
Damn man, I did this every day in a controlled environment with a commercial sized air compressor. And your doing this outside. This shit is so sick. Much respect
Great video. This is also good prep to take to a cheap place like Maaco. I did this prep exactly and my Maaco painted over it nicely.
Yeah I was thinking Maaco could do it as well and for the same price lol I just like to be hands on with my stuff
you are growing fast on this platform, keep it going soon, you'll have 100k
I know right, bro has been making videos since like 2016 used watch him all the time when I was building my EX

I'm here for it, bro.
Great video bro!
I bought an Aircat pneumatic impact to take the crankshaft bolt out for my crv timing belt replacement and i can tell you it was worth every cent
The vibe tho ❤
This was good!! I wrapped my car in my garage because I felt paint was much more involved, but now I wanna try painting!
Never tried wrap myself, looks very frustrating to work with 😅 the time consuming parts of painting js just the setting everything up I feel like
Nice brother. Awesome 😎😎
more of this please ....... i am motivated🤔🤔😯😯😳😳😳😎😎😎
Its my first time watching your video, im very impressed. If you're doing such a great job outside, can you imagine when you get the shed or booth up and running?
bro you single handedly motivating me to start building something
Lets gooo!
Miss you buddy good job!!!!
I like when you go to the jonker jejej always finds cool stuff keep doing brother 💪👍🏼
Haha ye found me some nice parts recently just gatta put it together now 👍
Bro pls post more I love you content I need it daily
bro is that a maplestory soundtrack?? hahaha the nostalgia!!
Got all my materials, all budget friendly. I plan to make videos like this to b/c you inspired me to do junkyard builds and fixing up cars. Its just like building legos but for grownups.
Nice job overall! I have several recommendations.
1. If you can find a place with a spray booth, maybe rent a booth for the day you need to spray the base or clear for final to minimize dirt nibs and bugs.
2. Use Spectrum PPS system
3. harbor Freight Fortress ultra quiet 26 gallon one works very well and is super quiet.
4. Adhesion promoter for plastic parts that got sanded through bare plastic.
Good luck and keep up the good work!
Tips to help, you don't necessarily need to prime the car if you just sand off the 400 unless its a crazy color change which in this case I could see but if want to save even more money. Go the length of the car when passing and you want a 70 percent overpass, common misconception is 50 percent over pass. Use red scotch brite for jams and more difficult areas, easier then a folded piece of sand paper. Keep gun parallel with the panel, if it curves, curve with it. Take your time on your passes, you don't need to rush through them, about 1 foot per a second. You'll get better with time but your doing amazing, you gained another sub, keep up the work!
Sweet appreciate the info brotha 🤙
Nice !
Respect!! 💪💪🔥
nice work bro
Great videos bro
Pour side ways with square cans to prevent it from bursting out and you wasting some, good shit man 🤙
G'afternoon Kevin 🤠 . Nice work and great edit job on the video. Double brownie points for you bro 🤣🤣

Best youtuber. Give this man a sub and a like🤙🏼
Nice job! Do you ever use metal flake or pearls?
Brilliant
Nice video since I just picked up another Teg which is a RS drag build needs paint etc.
Great video 💪🏼 what part of TX you stay at? 👀
the dog man, i feel u
Another quick tip is to spray the center of the roof and/or hood first and work your way out to the sides
ok im going to have to paint my car now
just like most of us - learning as we go and do it
good stuff
What other colors are best like white? I am guessing anything light? How often do you shake off the sand paper or change the paper when doing a car?
I just picked up a DA polisher / sander at Harbor Freight for $39 on sale.
fire vid
Black, first one!😂❤
It was a mess! Hahaha
Homie said. “He said he’s gonna deport me if I don’t do this.” Im dead! Good content. Subbed.👍🏾
Naw true definition of Yolo pulled up with the headers zip tied😂😂😂 and revved away😊
i cant imagine the happiness of your neighboors
15:05 when masking its easier to back mask and then put paper or plastic. pretty much grab a huge strand of tape and line the edges but sticky side towards you on the inside of the door. then grab paper and put tape on the top of it. then you stick tape to tape and its easier and quicker to line everything up
Thank you bro, ima do that next fsure
The purple hvlp spray gun is considered to be a good spray gun that when it's on sale can be gotten for $10 or if you need it now it's $16. It's so cheap that some people just buy a new one after every car project instead of cleaning it. It's wasteful to do that but if you value your time just factoring another $16 dollars before tax into the paint job isn't much in the grand scheme of things. They also have on the next sale coming in june a random orbit sander for $15 and a da polisher for $40 so if you want to start with a decent polisher i'd wait till next month and get the polisher and the paint sprayer for $56 before tax and have a decent start into painting minus the air compressor. If you don't want to use the da for sanding you can add the random orbit sander so the da stays cleaner. Also if you want cheap paint you should look into farm implement paint since it's pretty cheap and also pretty forgiving and can go on bare metal if you just want something to prevent rust and add color at once.
You were saying that priming the whole car wasn’t necessary but you were doing a complete color change from red to white so priming the entire car was the correct thing to do otherwise you would be taking a chance of white looking pink because certain colors don’t cover or have the pigment in it to cover .
perfect timing i was gonna paint mine soon 😭😭😭
Hope it goes well!
Looks like I've got a plan for the integra this summer...
Do you use any flex primer on the bumper and rear bumper plastic are pu parts??
The spongebob chair is heat🔥
Lmao an essential part of the tool set!
New sub👍🏾👍🏾
8:10😂 “ Mann if u don’t get yo ugly ahh outta here” I got bout 3 of those in my neighborhood too.
