nice
Nothing to this I would love to try this out
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’ll never understand why people think it’s a smart idea to make guides on how to do something when it’s the first time they’re doing it…
FYI- Your 250 gun... the link is broken... or out of stock.
When you are planning to do a 2 coat application, never fully cure the first coat! You will not get adhesion between the two coats. only cook the first coat until it just starts to gel then apply the second coat!!!
Fuck yeah dude
Great video, thanks for posting it!
Looks like it stuck just fine, know it all
@@steveg2509 it always looks "just fine" but will chip easier later and not be as durable. Dont be a know-nothing and hate on people who know what they are doing just because you dont.
Truth, it will stick but won't be as durable as it would be when coating over cured powder.
I was just talking to my friend about learning how to Powdercoat things, I’m 68 years old, and it would be a nice hobby to get into so thank you very much for being on CZcams
Amazing ! American Salesman talks down to you while showing you his Wares ! Thankyou.
As a professional house painting contractor I always thought this might be a good add on service, but didn’t realize how simple it was. Thanks for the walk thru!
Great video very informative. Eastwood is a great product!😊
Definitely knobs trim etc people are getting tired of boring homes everyone is doing crazy shit now
That oven is nicer than the one in my kitchen😂
Some tips too. You could use the oven racks to hang from, then put it the oven without touching the paint. Let it hang from same wire you sprayed with. That way you don't mess up the powder in transport. Plus spraying over some sort of clean containment, you could reuse the paint.
I was thinking the same. Put a sheet of plastic on the floor. That was a no-brainer.
The oven rack may work but, then you get a powder coated oven rack. I'd like a explanation on how to transport it without getting fingerprints or tool marks in the powder.
His green is very splotchy. IDK how to stop that other than have the professional shops do it.
If he
If he had used white first it wouldn't be so splotchy , bare metal will do that. Like anything it just takes practice.looked like fun was set to high, usually it's put on slower.
Damn auto correct gun not fun
@@RalphSampson... if you take the oven racks out, and suspend them by line or bungee, whichever. Then attach whatever your spraying with line, like he did from the ceiling. You can attach the clamp to the wire and spray the part. You can wipe any powder off the oven rack if you want before bake. Then just disconnect the rack from the supports and slide it in the oven. I can't tell if his racks have that annoying thing that requires you to lift it at an angle to get out. If it does, he can cut the rack to allow it to slide in straight. Hope that clears it up.
My wife I and where just talking about this the other day.
I'd like your videos they are helpful thanks for being here for us. Tony.
Amazingly simple. Loved the video. Easy to understand... no huge words. Good job Buddy. Thanks Jim.
I always thought powder coating was super hard to do but now I know it’s surprisingly simple!
Great video! There are several videos out on powder coating, but you really simplified the process. I've been doing it with the harbor freight system. After seeing this, I'm gonna step up to the Eastwood. Thanks!
This was a fantastic video. I never knew how easy it would be to powder coat. I can’t wait to try it some day. I’ve been doing cerakoat for years- I’m looking forward to the day I can try powder coating. Awesome content bro!
Never would have thought I could powder coat at home! This is awesome!
Love your idea on the mason jars! But my husband will love it too! Can’t wait to use it!! ❤️❤️
With 14 wheels there was no way I was gonna be able to get them all done anytime soon. This is a great video. Thank you very much. Eastwood has so many great projects, how too video, and deals all the time. My wife is gonna flip in the ease of use!!! I am glad I found your video by TOTAL accident. A follower now!
Excellent video. Your down to earth with your explanation . Definitely boosted my confidence. Great teacher
I have been wanting to add powder coating to my restoration business. Thanks for your video explaining powder coating for a garage / shop setup.
Thanks for posting this video and teaching me how I can powder coat. Looking forward to seeing what I can do on my first attempt. You made that look awesome.
Just a tip: I started with the older dual voltage Eastwood model years ago and still use it from time to time to this day. Try spraying around 5-7 psi and work a little more slowly. That system has its limits but that will help the coating come out more even. 👍🏼👍🏼
Very helpful video. I always wondered how power coat was applied. Seems simple enough. Thanks for sharing!
I'm an artist and you probably just set me on the powder cutting
I never thought powder coating could be that easy. Great video.
I've always thought powder coating was much more difficult than this. Great video and thanks for showing that it can be a DIY process!
Sounds like something I would like to try on my bike
❤ I'm always wondered about powder coating and you are the only one that I've seen demonstrate this and where it's available thanks for the information
Excellent how to video on powder coating. Good demonstration and oral communication/instruction on how to do the process, everything is in laymen terms. Video has give me an idea on a small business I could do in my now retirement days.
Awesome, the whole process looks great and easy too do , I am sure with practice one can turn out great pieces, thanks for the video!!!😊😊😊
I have my set of 15" factory Jeep wheels I'm just itching to try powder coating on. Eastwood has some really awesome products.
Pretty straightforward video of the basic process.. You'll make and you'll learn from any mistakes you might make. Watch videos, do some inquiring, try it over again, you'll get it right with some perseverance. Eastwood provides the videos and the products to accomplish a finish you can admire.. Everything you need in one stop shopping. Thanks Eastwood Co.
Awesome video! Really helpful with a great personality to boot!
Give this man a TV show for real!
This looks so much easier than I was expecting!
I think you just convinced me to get a new toy! Had no idea how easy powder coating could be.
Thank you for video. Extremely useful since I don't know anything about powder coating. I was thinking about fishing lures and after watching this video I an going to go for it. Thank you again! The Best
Very good demonstration on how powder coating things. First time I see something like that.
This video has been so helpful! I always wondered how hard powder coating was and this video made it look really simple, even though I know it’s messy and a little harder than you made it look. Lol
Good video! One thing I found that helps tremendously with adhesion (not as big of a deal with shiny new parts, but with older stuff that ends up being what I coated most) is to use a phosphate etching pre-treatment. I think i got mine from Columbia Coatings, but its been years so not positive. Really helped out when I used to rebuild old motorcycles.
So you're the one I should ask how do I get an oven large enough for a 1983 FXR Harley frame?
You do an excellent job instructing views how to do this at home. I am ready to buy one myself.
Extremely educational. Enjoyed watching you do the process, Thank you
Thank you for the lesson! I recently got an opportunity to sell powder coating and wheel repair, so I needed to see it done. It's a fascinating process! Yes, I definitely imagined doing myself some time soon. Great video. Now, I'm a subscriber!
Glad it helped
i could completely redo my lawn mower with this hahaha
Excellent video, and nice finished product. Thanks for the introduction to powder coating.
Great video, I bought the powder coating system that has the power converter as the product distribution from EastWood. Gonna do some RC parts for my crawlers etc. You did a great job explaining it in layman's terms.
You have been a awesome addition to Bleepin Jeep brother! This is a great episode!!
Meh...debatable
@@SkyBlueOffRoad what does that mean? You don't like him huh?
Looks easy enough!
Thanx for the video. Always thought that expensive stuff was needed for this. Thanx for opening my eyes in this.

That looks way to easy, I need to get me one of those and start makin a ton on ETSY so i can pay for jeep projects.
sweet demo of powdercoating at home. Always wanted to try both powdercoating and anodizing.
I have wanted to get into my own powder coating for awhile now. I am a do it myself kind of guy nowadays. I’ll damn near try to get into anything instead of paying someone. Allows me to learn new things, pass that knowledge along sometime down the road, and saves me money.
Thank you for this wonderful information, I'm a painter and hoping to do this powder coating as an additional skill to my craft. Im from the Philippines. Thank you and more power!

I always thought that powder coating was not for the DIY. After watching this video, I may even try it one day. Thank you for explaining it.
I never knew you could do that at home. I was thinking all the time, you had to forcibly send it or take it to the professionals that had a special industrial machine only they could handle. And good job and thank you for your videos, they helped alot.
Great video
