    • @scapegoatcomics6168
      @scapegoatcomics6168 Před 2 lety +14

      @@robertnelson9599 from a narrative perspective the inhibitor chips are necessary and in universe it's the final fail safe. Since Clones capacity for independent thought and their own unique personalities mean it would OOC for them to kill their jedi comrades without reservation. The inhibitor chip makes Order 66 completely infallible in it's totality. So yeah whilst some clones wouldn't put up much of a fight and follow it with enthusiam or professionalism some would resist but ultimately have to follow the order thus all doing the same thing and yet not betraying their character and can go through the aftermath true to their respective character

    • @dutch_asocialite
      @dutch_asocialite Před 2 lety +4

      @@robertnelson9599 They do make sense, but I feel it also makes things a bit less interesting as it renders Order 66 completely black and white because of them; instead of clones killing Jedi as a, "finally, revenge," moment, Of Mice & Men-ing it up or a minority just straight up not following through with the order, they *have* to do it with no reservations and... that's it.
      It's especially egregious, to me at least, because of how _individual_ each Clone is developed to be in the show so we don't get a really deep and developed, "am I a good soldier or a good friend," sort of conflict which, I believe, would've been great and tested the deliberation of clones being products or people. And that's not even getting into the potential of clone renegades who disobeyed Order 66, hunted by Imperial Commandos or something, which, argh, honestly sounds so _coool!_
      And anyway, clone conditioning is, like, 99.9% effective, so even without the inhibitor chip and in spite of friendships the Jedi Question is solved.

The commandos liked and respected the Jedi who were competent and treated them like men and equals.

    Ion Team was a clone commando squad who disobeyed Order 66, working to disrupt the efforts of "regular" clones and even engaging Darth Vader.
    The clones as written by Legends authors like James Luceno and Karen Traviss had to tackle deep questions of loyalty rather than the inhibitor chip hand-waviness introduced in the Clone Wars series. Despite the resentment of the Jedi following Geonosis, there's room for clone commandos to question the reasoning of Order 66. Even Skirata's clones with their hatred of the Jedi eventually helped Arligan Zey and others to escape.

    Those 4, not including Darman, are not the only ones that Hated The Jedi, Fun Fact Anakin has always hated Commander Fox, and Commander Fox has always hated the Jedi, He doesn't care that they're Great Warriors, doesn't care about their Wise Plans, doesn't even care about any of the Jedi that die for the Clones, he enjoys Jedi getting Killed. After completing the training simulation on Kamino he signed up to be a Commander, but not to follow the Jedi Generals Orders, not even follow Jedi Grandmaster General Yoda's own Orders, he signed up as a Republic Senate Obedient Dog to obey only Politicians Orders and Regular Military soldiers like the Admiral. That's mostly why he didn't obey Anakin's order there, He's like the Terminator Model T850 in Terminator 3 that was send from 2032 to 2003, send by Katerine Connor, since John Connor Got Killed in 2032 by Terminator Model T850, then reprogrammed and send him back to the past to ensure the survival of John Connor and Kathetine Brewster, he wasn't programmed to follow 2003 John Connor Orders, he even said it himself, I am not programmed to follow your orders. Funny since Both Terminator And Star Wars are part of the Dark Horse Universe, but anyway point is that Commander Fox was like I am not signed up to follow Jedi Orders. And no doubt when Most Clones Executed Order 66 he Enjoyed Killing Jedi, not just the men, but the women, and the Children too, he's an asshole Animal so he got choked like an Asshole animal We hate Him. And even Darth VADER Still hated him, when Fox and his men shot VADER Mistakening him for a Jedi, that was the last Straw, VADER FORCED Choked him, got his neck broken and GOT Fox KILLED!

    Okay, we all know genocide is evil and all that, but you have to think twice if the people who are being wiped out technically could be called slavers and the people who are wiping them out are their slaves. On a bit of an unrelated note, can we be honest and just say that the Force technically is starting the biggest and bloodiest wars in the galaxy? Force Wielders try to stay out of galactic politics, but they keep dragging themselves in for their own goals (Sith: Conquering the galaxy/Jedi: Stopping the Sith). The "Balance of the Force" is a major motivator to keeping Jedi and Sith on opposite ends. On that note, I'm still not sure if balance means balance between light or dark or just the plain eradication of the Sith. Either case though is impossible to achieve as the Sith and the Jedi will always return. Sure, world peace is a tough goal but at least we know we need to work together to achieve it. Jedi and Sith on the other hand will always be fighting each other as the Force wills it and they will always drag non-Force users into these wars. Honestly, a purge of both Jedi and Sith, while grim, probably would eliminate some threats to the galaxy and save lives in the long wrong. Of course then the galaxy would still have regular criminals and militants to deal with, but at least the superpowered folks are no longer dragging the rest of us into their fights.

    I hated the inhibitor chip idea, it robbed the clones of what made them different from droids: choice. And don't give me the "that's what Palpatine wanted all along" because it was a cheap copout on Filloni's team to explain why likeable characters like Rex and Cody would betray the Jedi. I mean, the clones are just human beings, and we know from the old lore that the longer the war waged, the more clones grew tired of fighting and got resentful of the Jedi. In the old lore not all clones obeyed Order 66, and it made them realistic, and explained why certain Jedi actually survived into the Imperial Era, but with the chips it just didn't make sense. A handful removed their chips, because they've got plot armour, but the rest executed Order 66 and then went to serve the Empire. Yet with more and more new SW content being released, more and more Order 66 survivors turn up. How did they survive when all Jedi were out on battlefields and the rest were wiped out in the Jedi Temple raid? Obi-Wan got lucky, Cal got saved by his master, who sacrificed himself, Ahsoka left the Jedi prior to the Order, but what about the rest, you know, the fodder characters that are used to show how dangerous the Inquisitorious is?

    Darman didn't hate them, he loves Etain the Jedi, he loves their son.
    Most Clones Love their Jedi Generals, remaing Survivor Clones after the Clone Wars still Love Jedi, always will Love Jedi, like Rex, Gregor, Wolffe, but each ones that still had their inhibitor chips, were not in control of themselves, as soon excute order 66 came in on the Holo Comm, their inhibitor chips took control of them, they only had one choice,
    And No, that's not true, Clone Elite Republic Great Commandos are NOT Cannon Fodder, maybe Gregor is, most of the Regular Clones are definitely Expandable, but not the rest, there were Clone that regretted killing their Jedi Generals during Excute Order 66 like Commander Gray.
    As for Delta Elite squad Clone Republic Great Commandos, Not even sure Sev is Dead, SEV is one Strong guy he's just as Hard to Kill like Chewbacca. I Just Finished Star Wars Republic Commando on the Xbox 360 last year 2021 and have a theory to how he could survive, He fights on, go through some lower sewer levels, finds a computer to temporarily disable communication grid along with temporarily disabling the droids from finding him, uses the computer to help boost his signal again, and then the rest of Delta squad picks up his signal, they remove the inhibitor chips Like Commander Doom did, they disobey any and all orders including Disobey execute order 66.
    they rescued him, returns to their posts, and continue defending Kashyyyk, then Order 66 Comes in, thry refuse to do it, but Sev still has his Inhibitor Chip forces him to obey it, but then Scorch grabs hold of Him and Pixer uses his Wrist Blade to cut out the Chip, they continue serving the Remaining Jedi.
    Lie to other Clone Troopers saying Yoda is already dead, Saved Lumina and Yoda takes them to another SpaceShip, Thanks em for Disobeying Excute Order 66, puts them in Cryostasis Pods to stopping their Ageing Process, waiting for the Right time to awake them which is their sequel along with Darman even his son.
    Whenever They found true Fallen Rogue Evil Crazed Jedi Insane Traitors they didn't like them, they definitely hated those true Traitors like Bariss Offee.
    Barriss Offee is a Fool Dumb BITCH Slow Learner, she is Wrong, the Jedi have not become Villians, their actions as Warrior Combat Generals are Justified in the Desperate Republic during the Clone Wars, Desperate Time calls for Desperate Measures, the Jedi are Heroes, but Not SuperHeroes.
    It is not their places as Jedi Official Generals that should be in questioned, it's their ways that have been part of their Society that has happened for Generations that is in questions, most of their Decrees are OBSOLETE, have Unethical Genocidal rules that makes most of them Brainwashed, along with their Horrible Laws of having Love with anyone, laws of how they barely mourn their dead but do not miss them, even Laws of the Force.
    Barriss was Wrong to question their roles as Generals in the Clone Wars, to frame Ashoka for Treason, while secretly joining the Sith, but that plan failed, Anakin beaten her, brought her to trial clearing Ashoka of all Charges, arrested Barris her actions were wrong, but Ahsoka was right to leave the Regular Jedi Order, not just because to survive the Upcoming Excution of Order 66, not just to join Leaders that know the True Senate Corruption bring in the New Republic, but because she is one of the Most Urgent Jedi that start an Order that had few Memebers that have Disobeyed the rules of the Old Obsolete Regular Jedi Order that were already fighting their Decrees knowing that Blindly listening to them will only lead to their downfall which it did in Revenge of the Sith.
    So those Disobedient Jedi they were to permeantly change their Laws, planed to do different Recuitment, even plan to use both sides of the Force to their full potential, Qui Gon Jinn was one of those Jedi, he disobeyed even the Council themselves, was offered to be on the Council, but didn't need nor want be a Jedi Council Memeber, bend the law when recruiting Anakin at age 9 to Join the Jedi, he was pratically a Ninja Martial Artist Stratigist Warrior Planner Jedi, when it came to Ninjas, Shaolin Monks, every Martial Artists Warriors they don't just recruit at Toddler's age, they recruit anyone at any age willing to join them.
    A Jedi woman that fell in love with a Clone Republic Commando 1,136 Called Darman secretly got married, he got that Jedi lady pregnant, gave birth to a boy, but that poor lady died, Darman disobeyed Order 66, got the child to a Mandalorian Darman with his wife, were mostly likely willing to change the Jedi Rules for their son.
    Oppo Rancisis that survived Order 66 probably willing to change.
    Anakin was also a Jedi to disobeyed the Rules having to fall in love Padme Amidala his childhood friend, him, his kids were willing to change the rules.
    Cere, Cal Kestis from Jedi Fallen Order also willing to change their obsolete ways since he's in love with Nightsister Merrin. I along with a CZcamsr know about an Truth about the Jedi that has made them Partially Dishonorable taint Warriors.
    I Sir Gabriel Collado Ivan and this CZcamsr The Film Theorist both have same idea that the Regular Jedi are Evil to a lesser degree on this video Called Film Theory The Uncomfortable truth about the Jedi Order (Star Wars Jedi Evil,) On 10:34 he and I was kinda like no They are So Wrong, We are both thinking the same idea, the Jedi are Brainwashed, Dishonest, Dishonorable Warriors, but the Sith are NOT Good, the regular Jedi Order we're dishonorable, the Sith too, and I have Great Ideal Explanation for this, 1 The Jedi are Brainwashed to have no emotions except Serenity, calmness, and happiness, they think they make them strong but they're wrong, sometimes Anger is needed, it helps The HULK, it had helped Obi Wan get Maul beaten by using Anger after he stabbed his Master Qui Gon Jinn, along with help Anakin get Darth Tyranus killed. 2 Yoda in Star Wars 3 ROTS said not to care about those who have died never to mourn nor miss them but they mourned Qui Gon by giving him a funeral that's totally Terrible. 3 They take children at toddler age separate them from their parents either never let them see each other again or let them see each other again but in a long time not even to text or send a message, that's even more cold blooded than Dr Halsey taking kids at pre teen age to their facilities training them to be Spartans then give them their Serums at 14 worse of all their parents don't even know their children have been taken, they clone their child lie to the parents letting them think they got their original children but they didn't, their original children are still in thir custody. 4 Jedi don't use Mandalorian Trinkets, nor Use Sith Trinkets no matter how great knowledge they have, but they use Jedi Trinket Holocrons for info, they think that's all the knowledge they need to learn between Jedi Holocrons, Books, Computers, but they're wrong sometimes need other sources of Intel, and that's what Number 5 turns out to be truly helpfully Hopeful. Number 5 Jedi think Lightside of the Force own abilities are more powerful than the Darkside, that should never use anything related to the Darkside except Skills something Mace Windu did when fighting on Geonosis, the Clone Wars, and against Palpatine as Darth Sidious it comes with being a Purple Lightsaber wielder using both Lightside and Darkside Fighting physical Melee Lightsaber Skills, but everything else in the Darkside other than Skills are Forbidden, such as Knowledge Power Ehancement Abilities, but I say it doesn't matter what side of the Force those knowledge and Abilities are from, it only matters how the person uses them, depending on who they are, for what reason they use it for, the Regular Jedi Order didn't see like that, they believed only using happiness, calmness, Serenity, Only use Jedi Holocrons, and only use Lightsiders Force Abilities are more powerful than Darksiders Force Abilities but they're Wrong, both sides of the Force are Powerful, Repulse, Mind Trick, Lightning are needed, Plo Coon used Lightning called Electrical judgement, Luke Skywalker used Green Emerald Lightning, pyrokinesis, healing power, control of water, and Metamorphosis are needed, (Metamorphosis power to shape-shift into anyone, anyspecies, and any animals even Monstrous types.) So really both Factions of the Force are Powerful at the same level, even Sith Lord Count Dooku that became Darth Tyranus didn't fully embrace the Darkside that's why he was never deformed nor did have Sith Eyes, he still used some Abilities of the Lightside of the Force, same goes out for Kylo Ren, and the True Force Weilders Warriors that are honorably Wisely Powerful are the Grey Order Jedi, Samurais, a Martial Artists Warrior Clans Ninjas take toddlers to be trained in their Martial Arts Fightings, but they also can accept pre teens, Adults, middle age adults, and Teenagers. Grey Order Jedi are the ones that use White lightsabers starting with Ahsoka Tano, Gold Lightsabers wielders such as Rey, Green Lightsabers true Excellent Jedi Grey Consulars like Luke Skywalker, even Yoda as a Spirit used Force Weather to destroy that tree, but still used Force Lightning nonetheless along with Rey, Purple Lightsabers wielders for half Lightsiders, half Darksiders, and Darksabers (which Moff Gideon in Mandalorian don't deserve, only the Mandalorians, Nightsisters like Merrin, and Grey Excellent Jedi Deserve the Darksaber, should probably make More Black Lightsabers.) But anyway the True Non Brainwashed Great Emotional Enhanced Powerful gifted Force User SuperHeroes are the Grey Order Jedi
