    It all started in Kamino...As soon as the Geonosis battle was over, Kaminoans started experimenting with new uniform upgrades for the Clones. The Republic commandoes kept their uniforms the same because theirs were upgraded due to their mission specs.

      The ARC Trooper chestpieces were the same too, but the armor itself and helmets were changed to allow for consistancy with the rest of the Phase 2 armor. Granted, nobody can tell which Phase the ARC Trooper armor is because of the aforementioned chestplate, but the helmets just barely help. I liked the ARC Trooper Phase 1 helmets and thought that they should've been the Phase 2 helmets, personally, but that's just me.

    I think what you also see is weapon diversification: flamethrowers, sniper rifles, increased use of machineguns, sadly we don't see much light artillery and infantry opperated artillery in action. That would be sick. Imagine a scene where clones are hammering droid fortifications while closing ground and then going in. Scouts directing air bombardment to supress droid tank colums.

    From what I saw, one of the advantages of the Rifle Blaster DC-15A was the aiming system, which was projected from gun to helmet with ologram, so clones fired with guns on their hips. The firepower capability of the DC-15S Rifle was the same compared to the Rifle Blaster DC-15A and had a higher firing rate but with a lower range. The DC-15S Rifle had a folding stock to provide more stability when firing.

    A sad fact that most of the improvements are made by the clones on their own. But at least they were allowed to. Stormtroopers, lost out on these worth while upgrades, and only top snipers, it would seem, got the good stuff, to be.. "so precise", when others were lucky to be able to hit the planet or station they were standing on.
    Still. In defense of most Jedi, only a few were callos, and uncaring, not seeing them as people. They did what they called to improve their troopers' situations ..as they themselves were learning and adapting to the harsh realities of war..even though it was a painfully slow and steep learning curve prosece. They meant well..just didn't manage so well.
    If the "DARKSIDER", hadn't clouded things so effectively, they would have been more insightful, and better able to do for the far too young troopers..important things; like stopping their hyper speed aging..once full grown, at least.

      It depends. Sometimes we see specialized jetpack units, sometimes we see regular clones using jetpacks. For example, the 501st troopers destroying the bridge were very likely specialized units. At least thats my personal evaluation, therere no official sources on that topic I know.

    Say what you want about what phase is better, but the DC-15A rifle looks cooler than the carbine variant, and the phase one armor looks cooler than the phase two. If I had my own small armor, I would give them phase one armor, and rifles as opposed to carbines.

    • @ravager2-636
      @ravager2-636 Před 3 lety

      It’s true.. Using a traditional clone army is no different then using a low quality droid force..
      You use both as cannon fodder & to fill roles quickly for a expanded military force.. Clones are flashed trained for a task(s) & droid are programmed for task(s).. Yes clones can “think” but only with what little education & personal experience they are allowed to possess.. Weighed down by organic reaction & processing speed which will always be inferior to any higher quality automaton..
      Now specialized Clone forces like ARCs & Commandoes can be argued differently.. they are actually trained in real life scenarios and situations & given better education & equipment.. With some being genetically modified to improve performance.. consequences they are in fewer numbers being higher quality themselves.
      Higher quality droids on the other hand that have a dedicated AI brain that can adapt their programming to the situation can counter the “best feature of organics” which is their situational adaptability.. Add on that droids can be built sturdier & tougher then any human, with higher reaction & processing speeds.. Droids don’t feel pain & aren’t slowed down by injures or fear.. Alas Since building armies of advanced terminator like droids are more expensive then most planets can afford most settle for cheaper easily mass produced droids, clones or cyborg forces or even just regular bodies if the population allows.

      @@ravager2-636 Well clones werent flash trained they have 10 years of war training along with genetic enhancements for the purpose of being warriors and are clones of one the bet bounty hunters the galaxy had see, so I wouldn't say they are meant for cannon fodder, even George Lucas intended them to be the most elite army the galaxy had ever seen, they appear to be cannon fodder at times for the purpose of pushing the plot forwards or because Jedi were horrible leaders and charged into battle with no issue cuz they have super human abilities and can block blaster bolts yet expected clones to follow them no matter what even despite clones not being superhuman or being able to block blaster bolts lol. Clones are the best, they just cant appear to be so all the time in shows because then if realism takes the show over there wouldnt be much story to give lol.

      @@keithalvarado6033 😂 you really believed the Kaminoan sale pitch “10yrs of training for war”.. infants, toddlers & preschoolers they have to learn to be walk, talk, read, write & not shit there plastoid first so there go the first few years & since flash training ain’t a thing apparently they have to do it the old fashioned way.. Sure the 1.2M 10yr old clones are an elite force, best in the galaxy they trained for years but the 9, 8, 7yr old clones behind them are going to have to get quicker, less complete training so they can get in the war sooner (quality suffers).. Since the clones make up the main part of the GAR & the only one’s really fighting against the endless CIS attacks & nobody from the Cloners, Republic Military & the Republic government gave a damn about them & view them as just as a “clone” in war.. Which is the definition of cannon fodder: “soldiers regarded merely as material to be expended in war.” That’s the fate of all clones there’s no happy ending for them.. At the end of the day there’s just artificially grown humans that were bred to die in the Sith plot for power.. With a production time of 10yrs for a highly skilled warrior it’s not sustainable when fighting a enemy that can just build or recruit 100x that..

      @@ravager2-636 Yeah of course I believe it, its established star wars lore, its not like these people actually existed and can lie on their own will, the established lore is that they are trained starting from birth. How? who knows. I mean you can train babies to do certain things very early on, babies take in alot mentally at young ages, science shows that even very young infants are affected by their environment and their brains can be trained even when developing, so how the Kaminoans did it, leave it up to star wars science. by definition your right about cannon fodder, in the context you were using it though it sounded like you were saying that they are just useless so contextually to me it didnt fit but I see your point.
