- Hang with the dudes from RTC as we spend the day in the shop fixing stuff before the storm. Today is the first snow of the season, and we're not even ready, I left the salt spreader outside all year, and it's in bad shape.
Holy heck, Jt`s reaction was priceless when you dumped the carb bowl. So glad that dad and I got out of the snow business and sold the last truck this past summer. We did 2 years in Westport too, 2 years at express scripts and worked at the airport too.
Next week is looking interesting.

I don't miss those days at all. Its fun now to grab a cup of coffee and watch the county truck work.

@RobertoSanchez-jt3hj we actually pour all year. We have a few basements coming up and a couple of small walls. We just don't pour if it'd below freezing. Some years, we never get a day off, and some we sit for few weeks
I always love plowing in my dump truck in the first storm. By the time March rolls around I’m sick of it.😂

That bowl on the carburetor was really full and really was funny. I'm just about got all caught up watching all your other videos. Lol and the St Louis region is one of the places that you can wear shorts one day and wearing a coat the next. I haven't left a comment on every video cuz I don't want to bother you where you think you have to reply back to all of them. I know what helps. And I noticed we both drink Sprite lol but I'm liking your shows and I like how you treat your guys and I like how you let them use their brain on how they would do the job they are doing. And then obviously you would correct them if it's not done how it should be but they all seem like they got a pretty good head on their shoulders. Ryan's from victory he would have a lot less stress on him if he could get one or two guys like that. He's got good guys but I wouldn't say 100% reliable. And I hope you had a good new year and Christmas.

Yeah I have only salted twice and plowed once this year. It’s good for us contract people but sucks for those that don’t have it. For zero tolerance properties they pay good money for sure. I do miss plowing real thick snow though..
- 40c up here in Sweden and trust me I aint going nowhere !! ........I mix the salt and grit but still gets stuck.

Here in Ohio it went from 3 to 5 inches early in the week to now up to 1 inch. Just west of Columbus off 70 here.

You need to add dowels to your house garages / driveway pours. It’s the best way to do it!

@abraham1513 Mainly because I don't like to drill into the existing garage floor. They're usually thin at the edge in most cases. And it's just the way we've always done it around here. Some guys like to dowel, and some don't 🤘

O'Reilly , Autozone , Advance & NAPA have markups of over 100-200%. Amazon vs. eBay would have saved you 150 dollars on guaranteed name brand stuff. was in the autoparts biz for 40 years and never was allowed by competition to make more than 30-35% gross profit. thats how they have stores in every little town all lined up on the main street next door to each other. and they don't stock anything but oil, antifreeze and car wax and a few filters. but they'll get it for you by tomorrow. I hate to give amazezos any more money but locals are ridiculous.

A lot of outdoor trades do. It's hard to complete jobs when it's below freezing. The snow removal helps keep everyone busy throughout the winter
