"A maintenance treatment every 6 weeks"
This doesn't sound plausible. I believe the research indicate that for most people, the optimal maintenance treatment interval is 1 session per week. This has been the case for me at least. For anyone considering iontophoresis, keep this in mind. Iontophoresis absolutely works and has 100% cured my palmar sweating and changed my life for the better, but it isn't a pleasant process. It is time consuming at first but after getting over the initial hurtle, expect weekly, possibly biweekly maintenance sessions. That being said, the pros FAAAAR outweigh the cons. I would say this is the only treatment that manages hyperhidrosis perfectly with the least amount of side effect. A more conservative treatment with medication or antiperspirants will NOT cut it for most people and the more invasive treatments like surgically removing a sympathetic thoracic nerve have life altering "side effects" for many people who opt for this treatment. Botox seems to be the second best treatment option. My advice? Buy a quality iontophoresis machine and be realistic about the time and effort it will demand of you. It will pay off for most people who stick with it.
Thanks for this video! Follow-ups of HH treatments are hard to find and I'm almost always left wondering about effectiveness and side effects. Thank you as well for your courage in telling your HH story. Many of us have been dealing with this condition in silence, but it is great to see that we are not alone and that speaking up can help others and ourselves :)

Everyone I have a solution OXYBUTYNIN I have had this condition my whole life and now I’m 85% sweat free never been more happy with the results the sweat literally dries under your skin before it surfaces do research on it and you will take my word for it 95% of patients are successful my goal is to spread the massage to as many ppl as I possibly can because Ik it is a life altering condition and I would love to make a difference In a person life. I’ve had hyperhidrosis as long as I can remember. I was so insecure shaking hands with new people or holding a girls hand growing up. Once I was wearing crocs for a few hours and when I took my feet out there was a puddle of sweat I could literally pour out. Because of this I’m in socks and shoes 95% of the time and my hands are clammy every hour of the day. I am hoping to be able to afford this device soon 🙏🏼

I have used it for a while and it requires consistency and discipline.
You need to try a variety of schedules as to find the most optimal usage interval for you.
Bottomline it takes effort but it works

@@malachiii6828 I’m on my 4th session! My hands still sweat, I would say a tiny less but definitely not dry. I will keep trying for a couple weeks and update on my CZcams :) Luckily they have a 100-day guarantee so if it doesn’t work they give you a full refund. The treatment is not very comfortable though I put it at quite a low level and I wouldn’t call it a “little tingling” - You’re basically getting electrocuted at the end the of the day lol. But as a pole fitness enthusiast I’ll do anything for dry hands…

@@Getbusy_ it didn’t work for me like I expected. Im not sure to be honest I would say I saw a little temporary change for a couple hours but on a daily basis my hands would still sweat. And its a commitment, I have to admit the sensation during the treatment is not very pleasant and it makes these little holes in your skin. It felt like i was getting more sensitive to it every time even at the lowest level. When I asked for a refund (as per their guarantee) they kept trying to convince me to keep it which was annoying. I ended up keeping it at a cheaper price because they wanted to avoid the shipping costs. Other than that they do reply, I just had to insist.

I have suffered excessive sweating on my feet and hands and it has affected my life more than I imagined. I am less confident in front of people, and constantly nervous just being around people (want to avoid physical connection with them).
After 30 years, I finally decided to make two decisions, 1. Go to a dermatologist for the underarm surgery. 2. Using this device from Dermadry. While I hope the surgery would cure my excessive sweaty hands, I plan to use the device for my feet. @@ianarnold4653 it works good 👍my biggest issue is skin gets too dry and cracks and makes treatments pretty uncomfortable. But bought some Vaseline to cover cuts and cracks on my ✋👐

Thanks for the review! My underarm sweating has been getting crazier! Especially during the winter, whenever my feet and hands are cold my armpits start sweating like crazy, which is so weird! So whenever I’m wearing a coat in the winter, even tho I’m cold, I get sweaty!
I've suffered hyperhidrosis for 10 years (armpits) until I started using Certain Dri PM roll-on. I recommend you try it too. It makes the underarms itchy but it's worth it! I also have this device and I'm currently using it for my hands and feet.
@@ExcitedAtmosphere151 thanks for the suggestion! I have tried the regular stick deodorant from Certian Dri and it hasn’t been helping. So I’ll surely try out the roll on version and see how it goes!
Make sure you use it at night time. It takes a few weeks before it takes effect. Just be patient.

Yep that's not as strong as the other one.
I have been using this for more than 3 years. I have to use it every day for 4+ weeks, 30 minutes per session to get completely dry hands. Then I stop for a a week, and I can start all over again, 4+ weeks every day to get the same result. Basically it comes down to the point that I can't stop which makes it very hard to maintain. I put the adaptor on the highest setting, 27v.
I haven’t tried the following tips personally yet but I just read some get better results by not changing polarity and using mineral water like San Pellegrino. Unfortunately I think the device she is reviewing automatically flips polarity every 5 minutes or so.

You mentioned there's increased sweating for a bit after first use. Do you experience more sweating in other areas of your body till now? Compensatory sweating?
I do not!
There’s a compensatory sweating when u used ionto.
Just did my first session on my hands and set the strength to 7, it was kinda painful 😅 I’ll try starting lower and working my way up. But if it works, it’s definitely worth it

@@natalielovesbeauty u still use deodorant, but i would imagine it has helped u not to be as sweaty. i have looked into miradry and other similar procedures. i just came across dermadry and i am diving into researching this for my hyperhydrosis. i was about to book miradry but i know it may not even work so i have to learn about dermadry now

d'you think it could be used on different areas than the ones officially recommended? my hyperhidrosis is focal and i mostly sweat through my scalp (and lower back) and it's SO uncomfortable since it's lays on display, i have people assuming I've always "just showered" 😬 which is awkward as hell. so I've been trying to find hacks, heh
I don’t think they are intended for use on other areas than those recommended unfortunately :/
The dermadry has pad attachments which were made for the underarms area i suggest you just attach those pads to your affected area should work still
I have hyperhidrosis, basically my whole darn body sweats more than normal, so if all you have is one area where you sweat too much lucky you
Is it possible to put both hands into one tray and both feet into another if they fit so I can treat both at the same?
And also is it possible if I decided to do like say 5 treatments in one day to get through the initial phase faster?
Best to do hands and feet separately so they have sufficient space to be centered on the plaques. Five treatments in a day would be excessive, best to follow instructions for use as intended :)

Thank you for sharing. Did you ever have a point in the 2 year period where the sweating came back? I’ve been using my machine for exactly a year and my sweating has now come back full force within the past week which is odd to me because nothing in my routine changed
Sorry to hear! The machine has personally helped me control it very well so I haven’t had a big flare up
I think you should try using mineral water for the treatment. It’s worked wonders for me so far. Make sure you buy mineral water with high contents of minerals for maximum effectiveness.

Oh wow. Full force?? That's something to worry about.
Guys, try this contrasting shower. Take a 10min shower, in that switch between hot and cold every 2 min. This really reduced the sweat problem. For a even better results excercise or walk for 30min and then take this shower. It works
how does that work though?
When u alternate ur water temperature to hot and cold, ur body is under shock and tries to adjust the blood flow to maintain ur body temp. This way when there is any sudden change in temperature ur body won't sweat. This has worked for me. I also excersize for 30min so the sweat is controlled there aswel.
I feel like this is a fine solution for someone who happens to be prone to sweat or sweats easily… but hyperhidrosis is a chronic nervous system condition that cannot be helped by showers or temperature changes. I wish it was that simple for those of us.
I noticed numbness in my hands and feet, also I have pain in my joints after using it. It caused nerve weakness. Have u experienced something similar? Having said that it did reduce my sweating no doubts about that. But long run this may cause nerve damage with is very dangerous
scared to use for same reason, because i already have a pinched nerve in my arm. they say it’s safe though.. and no negative effects have hurt anyone
It's OK guys put baking soda in water it will help keep your hands and feet dry

@@lego7315 i stopped using it as after few months this process stopped working on me and i had to increase the amount of current which cause me more pain on my palms. I was unable to lift things due to the nerve damage cause by passing current. Now i excercise for an hour and make sure i sweat a lot during the excercise. Now i don't sweat too much. I also look better too ( due to weight loss 😋). I got a thread mill for home, now i run for 30min and other excercise for the rest 30min. The days i don't exersise i sweat more again.

I use it once a week, every six weeks in the maintenance phase. I need to keep using it this way to maintain results :)

Wow, making the excess sweating stop within 2 days was so much more than I expected, I went with what I talked about last week and after the first day or so I was very surprised to start feeling much more comfortable and dry! It does not stop you from sweating but will significantly decrease your level of sweat. You have to keep using it to maintain results.

Baking soda can be great for those occasions when you're in a hurry. As you can read in Cynthia Yulesin's homepagw to permanently stop excess sweating in 48 hours it's unexpectedly simple to sweat just the right amount and have a life again lol.
