    I sweat soooo much. I buy clothes that won't show sweat. I can't even wear tee shirts or anything. I also get extremely sweaty palms. Its embarrassing holding someone's hand. My little brother suffers the same way I do. It has made us extremely self conscious.

    I even had a surgical treatment where they burn off a nerve to stop sweating. I wanted my facial sweating to stop as it's horrible in my case, I just sweat at every small stimulus, oversensitive. However, the surgery helped relieve my underarm sweating, but not facial. Facial is the worst, it affects your self confidence so much.

      @lisamariematthews Před 5 lety +5

      @@sajini7925 Yes. I ended up sweating on my back and chest area. I did see a reduction in sweat though, especially during the first few years. I now have to take glycho daily which really helps to reduce and manage the sweating throughout the day. I think with HH, you have to combine treatments to see a significant reduction of sweat. I sweat on my feet and hands. I tested the Qbrexza on my hands (just to see what would happened), and the wipes are not has effective as the pill. They do help with the under arms though. I don't use the pill or wipes at the same time as I feel that is too much for my body. At the point, I think people have to test and try out what different kinds of treatments and dosages will work for them as doctors don't have enough info yet. We are guinea pigs for them at this point. Oink.

    After suffering with this for many years, it just got to where i couldn't STAND it any longer. I was sweating profusely under my breasts (triple D cup so that was AWFUL, even using antiperspirant under them) and in my groin areas, mainly, although the top of my head and my neck were fair game, too. I have long hair and it would look like i had stuck my head under faucet. What a pain in the...yeah!
    I told my doctor i was at my limit dealing with this on my own and he prescribed Oxybutynin (5 mg.) for me, and it's been SUCH a blessing! I may have to go to a higher dosage if 5 mg. stops working as well, but i couldn't be happier. I know this might not be for everyone and there are -- of course -- side effects, as with any drug. Make sure to look them up so you'll make an educated choice, if you choose to go this route.

To me, that seemed like not a very thorough examination/answer...what do you think? It works amazingly. I think it must stop the negative spiral somewhat. Normally..sweat, armpit get wets, gets cold, sweats more, spiral. Now... sweat, swear absorbed into pad, no spiral. Most of the time that is. It may sound a bit strange for some people but it works amazingly for me. Place the pad into the armpit of your shirt. My issue with hyperhidrosis is that it only happens in closed rooms (sitting on the toilet with no air flow and because I have IBS and other digestive issues, im exhorting a lot of energy), and while I'm at work. I'll be working and I feel pretty cooled off, it's out of nowhere the heat hits my skin and then it starts on my face and goes all over my body, just sudden excessive sweating. Overall I'm normally clammy, but then there are moments where it feels like sweat is POURING from my skin. I cant just strip my clothes off and cool off at work, so I'm just suffering and I can't go to the bathroom because all bathrooms make me sweat. It's pretty miserable.

    Certain Dri is the best. My underarms skin may feel slightly irritated & itchy (because I use a lot during application) but it's occasional, brief, & happens for a short time shortly after application. It doesn't work as well under my breasts as it does for my underarms though but the skin there never gets irritated.

    Face and head sweat has been so annoying and embarrassing for me my entire life. Trying to wear makeup and look professional and then sweating throughout the day is almost impossible for me. I also teach excercise classes and want to look somewhat put together but during class I constantly have to wipe sweat off my face and head. I have actually tried spraying antiperspirant throughout my scalp like you would dry shampoo to no avail. Botox looks like my only option but I can't afford that on a regular basis. Thoughts?

    We just went to South America, I'm going through 3-4 outfits a day, i carry cold damp towels, wear dry fit clothing, try to stay in the shade, etc. I'm sweating through my clothes, everyone else seems fine.
