Why do you recommend to treat the affected area just every other day and not each day for the first week, as most other companies suggest.. Is it to just prevent skin irritation or because the treatment is going to be more effective if performed every other day ? thanks a lot

Great question! So it's to prevent skin irritation but also so that patients are that much closer to reducing frequency. Patients who treat every day to start are typically treating on the manual polarity switch in an attempt to focus the positive side on one extremity, in hopes of achieving dryness faster in say one hand versus consistently across both hands. In our experience, this is a more complicated user experience, plus the every day treatments can lead to skin irritation. Treating on the Auto polarity switch every other day for 20-mins to start is the treatment plan that gets most of our patients to see results within 2-weeks and reach 100% dryness in 3.5 weeks. But everyone's body is different, so it's important to find the right setting and schedule that work for you!
