    Forget the social embarrassment/psychological impacts. This condition sucks because it is incapacitating! As someone who works in a lab doing super fine motor skill tasks all day and does art as a hobby, having sweaty hands is an absolute nightmare. I can’t do anything because Im constantly wiping my hands! So yes it affects my mental health but in the sense that I’m sad because it’s so physically uncomfortable and I can’t do anything.

      i feel like i literally can’t do anything without having to think about how my sweaty hands are going to drench whatever i touch. its just miserable at this point especially in the highschool environment where you’re always dabbing your friends up but then getting judged and asked why your hands are wet. besides the social aspect it applies to my favorite subject as well which is art because writing on paper is near impossible without a longsleeve as well as sculpting clay because it just gets too wet and falls apart. my overall experience with has been terrible throughout my childhood and now that im in my last year of school i cant keep it going into adulthood.

Just feels a little bit uncomfortable talking about something I used to feel so unhappy about.

I've kind of just accepted it like you said just have to take some precautions lol Personally I've only ever tried different types of deodorants for my underarms, tried powders for feet and switching out my shoes like you mentioned, as for my hands - have no idea how to stop my palms from sweating. Oh my goodness thank you for making these videos. I suffer from hyperhydrosis as well I’ve had it for about a year and a half now it really started happening out of no where which is so weird because i never had this problem before thankfully i didn’t have this problem in high school. I’ve been out of high school for 2 years now so it started happening months after i got out. I have it in my hands and feet and I literally have the worsttt anxiety because of it i pushed away all of my friends and anyone who i have to have physical interactions with.. it seriously has become such a problem for me. I ordered my dermadry and it arrives this Saturday I’m so excited to try this product out and see if it helps somewhat.. I’m really putting all my hope into this and i know it’s something that I’m going to be so consistent with just because I don’t have a busy schedule at all right now. So lets hope this helps my condition so i can get my life back on track and my confidence back, well basically my life back 😩🙏🏽🤍 thank you again your videos are awesome!!

    Did it help with the odor?
    I suffer from odor and my doctor suggestted that i should try botox but it's to expensive to have it twice a yr. Since this thing and botox are doing the same thing, stopping the sweat glands from creating sweat, did it remove the odor on your experience?

    • @dermadry
      @dermadry Před 2 lety

      Hi Tubul! Odour can be a sweat problem, such as hyperhidrosis or bromhidrosis (or both, in some cases). In many cases, treating your hyperhidrosis to the point where sweat has diminished to a tolerable or “normal” level, can effectively treat bromhidrosis as excessive perspiration is generally what makes bromhidrosis worse. Note that body odour can also be the result of an underlying condition, such as diabetes, or a side effect of a medication you are taking. If this is the case, bring up your worries with your healthcare provider to assess the situation, and find the potential root cause for your body odour ! Visit us to know more !

We accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards as a form of payment in the United States, just like a regular card for online transactions.

    • @angelzheng
      @angelzheng  Před 3 lety +2

      Honestly I think it would’ve been hard for a brand like this to get reviews and demo videos if they hadn’t paid creators to help them! Because I don’t think many people would want to talk about their issues online like this!
      Dermadry reached out to me specifically because they watched my insecurities video where I talk about my sweaty feet! So they actually provided me a solution when they knew I had an issue!
      I will say, everything I say in the video is 100% my thoughts on the product! It’s definitely worth trying but the effectiveness of the product will depend on how often you can keep it up!
