      @@MANLY1230 Probably does.
As a story the album goes like this: he takes his mom's van. His mom has a food stamp appt and wants to get out while his high dad is fiending for dominoes (Money Trees). He also doesn't want his vibe killed (Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe). While Kendrick has the van, he spits some freestyles (Backseat Freestyle) for his friends, is pressured into smoking a blunt laced with cocaine and gets fucked up, links up with Sherane (Sherane) and then gets beat up (good kid). He is encouraged to use alcohol to comfort himself (Swimming Pools) by his friends as they plot on avenging him (m.A.A.d city). When they confront the enemies, one of Kendrick's friend's brother gets shot (Swimming Pools again), and he is conflicted with guilt and while his friends recognize a cycle of hatred, and are offered an opportunity at renewing themselves via baptism and repentance.
Real is literally the conclusion for the story. It's a track of remorse for the loss, renewal/rebirth through self-love, spiritual meaning, and transcending the cycle -- rejecting alcohol and substance abuse, materialism, vengeance, etc.. I'm kind of surprised that this key element of the GKMC story was so overlooked.

The ending of Mortal Man is Kendrick asking a question to a deserted Tupac who is no longer with us, unable to answer the question making us look for it on our own. But when the CD is done it automatically starts again. Starting with Wesley’s Theory. With the first words showing us the answer to the last question in Mortal Man. @@loganohare3453 Whoa now. U walking in some dangerous territory right there open your mind a lil. "Not Good" to your standards with things like this this there is no definitive right answer to these things. (it is an opinion after all).
Subjectiveness. We all see things different my favorite Kendrick song might differ from yours for various reasons. Reasons u might have never fathomed. Reasons that could help u look at the song in a new light and angle from a new perspective that could change your mind.
When u say it's "not good" and leave it at that u close off the possibility of learning or seeing something different in order to form a better conclusion and understand not only the person behind the list but the song in the way it was meant to be understood. Who am I to say that his list is bad when is his opinion and his reasons for liking a song more than another could be deeper than I even know.
My favorite K. Dot songs is Feel, the Recipe, and poe man's dreams because in the way they resonate with me. In the way they stop me from taking my life hundreds of times. I don't like "momma" at all. I would rather listen to Tammy's song, ailen girl, real etc ....
My point is it all subjective just cuz I don't like the list doesn't make it a "bad" list when u think like that u start to close off the possibility of learning more about the person and the song and won't be able to receive the full impact and message of what the song really means. Open your mind. Next time when something subjective like this comes up don't say it's "bad" or "not good" just let it be know u don't agree and if u wanna go deeper give some reason why u don't.

Even he himself fell in love with the instrumental. It just hits different. The story Telling was a different level. Just go re listen to it man.

BLOOD is an AMAZING song, i really think it's one of DAMN best songs... And also listening to the phrase "so i was taking a walk the other day" at the end of the album it's just magic, and that magic happens only because BLOOD exists. I’m more on the soulful side of Kendrick. I love Complexion, Hol up, Mama, These Walls, For Sale, and She Needs Me (part of a mixtape). I was a huge supporter back when he was still underground, dating back to 2009 so it is awesome to see Kdot shine the way he has.

I agree with your top 3, but my favorite song is Duckworth because it’s the reason I listen to hip hop.
Back when kendrick released Damn, I only listened to Pop rap songs. I heard Humble and was curious about other songs Kendrick did so I listened to the whole Damn album. I thought it was really interesting and liked some of the songs not really looking deep into the message they told or shared. It wasn’t until I heard Duckworth and liked the song for the beats but still didn’t pay attention to the story until the verse on the last beat switch. I was so curious about what he meant and looked it up and was shook. Since then I’ve listened to all of his albums and fell in love with the genre as a whole.

Really dark sound too that ends with that maniacal laughter at the twist of his own story. Idk really cool track imo, not one of his best but for sure not the worst
