- (Re-Upload) What is the best Kendrick Lamar song? This question is harder to answer than it looks when it comes to a discography as consistently great as Kendrick's. So, I designed a formula to rank every single Kendrick song based on what every part of the community thought.
If you want to see me do this again, or you just liked this video, interact with this video in some way so CZcams knows I'm good at something.

NEVER LET DATA COOK AGAIN 🔥🗣🗣🔈🔈🔈🔈🔥🔥
FR 😭😭😭
fear at 23 is actually criminal
Physically hurt me to see it that low
should be his top 5, actually.
WHO LET DATA COOK⁉️⁉️
Saying "nothing stands out" on lust is the most obcene take i have heard, it probably is the most unique song on the album
I really do like the production on it, maybe i should have said that nothing stands out lyrically
One of the most unique songs, and the lyrics are great, takes balls for kendrick to beg for pussy on a beat and make it hard
I clicked this video thinking i was watching someone with millions of views. Im surprised you only have 50 subs. Your content is great, but the alg isn't reccomending it. You should upload a bunch of shorts to get the algorithm on your side.
thought i hat a stroke reading this lmaoo
Definitely considered shorts, but I really enjoy long-form content more. I think one day I’ll probably just buckle down and make a bunch of shorts
@@brickradioYT maybe just cut out snippets of your videos
Real is so underrated and gets too much hate it’s a masterpiece
I love YAH I honestly didn’t realize that others didn’t
Same
Hood Politics is NOT the weakest on TPAB what
ikr definently complexion to me
I always thought it was one of the best, can’t understand why it’s so down on everyone’s list
@@fissejakob someone that agrees finally. the beat pales in comparison to the rest on the record and the bars just aren’t there most of the time. Love the message, but it’s one of the few I skip.
Really hard to call any song on that album the weakest when they’re all so good. Its essentially in tiers for me
Boo boo
I know it’s this guys opinion but rating Love over Swimming Pools is insane
LOVE is top 10 and swimming pools is top 15
I think my biggest Kendrick hot take is that Real is top 5 on Good Kid. The chorus is definitely repetive, but I still think it's catchy. Kendrick's verses are awesome as he discuss how two different people using either materlistic things or the streets as way to cover their personal issues, they don't love the real versions of themselves. Then his final verse is him discussing how he to thought that expensive items and being in the streets and honoring a code made him real but comes to realize these things don't define him. Finally it ends with my favorite voicemail on the album. This voicemail encapsulates the entire story on GKMC, being able to overcome the hardships in Kendrick's early life, but being reminded to never forget where he came from. To come back and inspire the kids in Compton that were no different than Kendrick growing up. This song coming after Sing About Me makes it even better, contrasting the brutal and sad ending of Sing About Me with the hope of escaping Compton. Incredibly underrated song.
Thanks for your opinion! I do love how Real ties up the story, I just think a lot of songs on GKMC do a lot more while sounding better. No hate on Real though, there’s no bad track on that album
I think your wrong.
rich spirit is top 20 for me, unbelievable that it has somehow ended up at 71😭😭
everything from mmatbs was too low
I can’t understand Hood politics being that low. IMO it’s one of the best songs on TPAB.
feel, mother i sober, untitled 07, for sale, count me out and institutionalized slander is crazy
mother i sober>
Count me out at 53 is wild to me. His best verse oat imo
fr top 10 Kendrick for me
How tf is hood politics that low, that’s slanderous
It's one of the best Tab songs.
Crown at 75 is blasphemy
Thank god im not the only one
Momma at 55 is insane
Bro the data gotta be wrong how tf is How Much a Dollar Cost lower than King Kunta 😭
This is a serious underrating of Real
I’d probably shoot it a little bit higher, but i know the average listener thinks its the weakest on GKMC
@@brickradioYT even if the hook is weak, if feel like it is probably in the top 10 on good kid mAAd city (better than Compton, The Art of Peer Pressure, and Poetic Justice at the least)
fr man.
@@joshwhite5730the art of peer pressure is probably the best song on gkmc
I definitely agree, it's the 2nd best on gkmc for me.
It's criminal how low count me out is
Yes
count me out snubbed
True
Cant stand the MMATBS disrespect thats my favourite Kendrick album and ESPECIALLY Auntie Diaries top 15 - 10 Kdot songs for me
YES this is crazy it's like they think if its not GKMC or TPaB its one of his worst songs.
crown in extremely slept on. you guys are weird
I legit almost quit the video after seeing how low Crown was ranked
Another here who likes Good Kid better than Maad City. I thought I was alone. One of his most underrated songs imo.
FR
Glad to see another good kid enjoyer
I will never understand the hate for the U2 part I always thought it was one of the best parts and I feel like the only reason people hate it was because everyone acts like it was bad, like fantano originally said he thought it was great then said he always though it ruined the song recently
Fr.
Always felt a little corny to me. Haven’t been a big Fantano fan either though lol
Not me getting mad at every single song thats not 10/10
The entire first half of this ranking is me complaining how every song should be higher so i feel that 😭
When a 4/5 is "so low" yk your great😂
firstly, I thought there was a rating from 1 through 10 and noticed that something was wrong. and then, i realized that this is a rating from 1 through 5. well done video btw
I see Autie Diaries in number 67 and I stopped the video immediately
Bye
Bro counting Andy rants as legit data
Nothing but the best for my data analytics
i love lists and ratings, thanks for making this video
Glad this video hit the algorithm to hopefully boost your channel. The stuff you do is great.
This video format with Kanye would be the best video on CZcams like ever 😯
I’ll keep that in mind 🤝
This guy is insane
🤏
dude you’re crazy underrated I expected you to have tens of thousands of subs. keep it up!!
savior at 48 makes me sad
No way it is below we cry together 😭
I thought you would mention gkmc bonus tracks, the recipie is 🔝
savior interlude 78? i mean you could say that its not even a kendrick song but its great
this list is disastrous holy shit
I may not agree with everything, but I respect the effort that went into it.
I really like your editing style! It inspires me to differ from my own and go the more professional like you are good at doing. Can't wait for Tyler!
Means a lot man! Keep up the great work on your vids.
intro scared the shit outta me
u and the art of peer pressure mean so much to me emotionally
the emotions on u are so powerful, the struggle to love oneself is so real
the art of peer pressure is such a vibe (just ridin') and I connect to it because I am a lot of the times a victim of doing what other people do to fit in
I also love the first part of count me out. I can feel the expectations are so heavy on kendrick and I relate to that as well
a lot of the tracks just get better when listening to the full album, like backseat freestyle makes a lot of sense in the context of gkmc and it's before one of my favorite songs
Love all these songs! Thanks for watching!
For Free and Hood Politics being low is hurting me 😭😭😭
Great job.
I really appreciate your approach to generating your input data.
Keep it up!
Thanks for watching!
Momma is top 10 Kendrick imo 🤷♂️
nah savior interlude is a banger, keem goes hard on that song
Exactly😭
If Baby Keep released that as his own song it would be one of his best
WOWW. what a great video, no way this guy only has 50 subs
Thank you for watching!!
we cry together being that low is heartbreaking
How much a dollar cost and u not cracking top 10 is crazy
untitled 05 deserved a top 10 spot not just because its as good if not better than the ones above it but because its probably the most unique kendrick song ive ever heard, its my most played all time on spotify and still every time i come back to it, it just gets better, idk if its the punch and jay rocks features or the instrumentals or the anna wise chorus or lyrical content, i just know that its the most special song in his catalog for me
Might honestly be my favorite Kendrick song period. I love that track for all the reasons you described, such a vibe
Real at 74 😔
broo that shit hit different too 😔
untitled 05 so good
Lowkey my favorite Kendrick song
Ok ok the data is cool and all, but crown is genuinely one of my favorites off of mmatbs and the fact you rated it a 1.5 astounds me. When I saw that I was salty for the rest of the video.
Other than that, my favorite Kendrick song, i, is really high and I love to see that.
the reason why the tpab and Mr morale songs are lower than a lot of the other albums despite their quality compared to the others is due to how people don’t really fall in love with each individual song and more so the album itself. The albums are so well crafted that they go into one and other so well that people don’t think of specifically momma or you ain’t gotta lie, they think of the second half of tpab. That’s the hardest part when ranking Kendrick’s songs.
I can definitely see that perspective on it, they probably are the most cohesive of his records. And I could just never rock with Crown, personally
Crown needa be higher brother
Blow My High is a banger wtf
Very well made, nice
Algorithm blessed me with this video, keep up the amazing content🔥
Thanks for checking me out!
should have included overly dedicated man, i would have loved to see where barbed wire ranks, its one of his best imo
Yah is one of my favorite songs on damn I love how apathetic and off it sounds. I’m bummed it was super low
Real is amazing. I've never been this against democracy
remember me when you blow up one day
How could i forget you TheTurtinator
@@brickradioYT thank you brickradio 🙏
Count me out underrated
debated cutting the video off after seeing fear’s ranking. gotta be at least top 5 imo
I just listened to YAH again and I really don’t understand the general consensus on this song. The drums are really sick. It’s mixed really well. The bass sounds super full. Sure, the delivery is a little bit goofy and weird, but I feel like it works on this track. I truly do not understand the hatred that the fandom has for this song. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever skipped this song when listening to this album before.
he's diagnosed with real fella conditions after all
For me it's top 3 on DAMN. and DAMN. is my favorite album.
franchement, ça mérite un like, un abonnement et un commentaire !!!
real clicks with me ong
Although I disagree on some of the ratings, I appreciate your work on this so much
It feels insane that people be sleeping on momma that much, the lyrical content is so dense and the transition going from the for sale interlude onto it is one of the best I've ever heard. The simple line "Until I realised that I didn't know shit the day I came home" is a perfect analogy for the whole song.
Love this song. Everything u pointed out is dope. My fav part is the outro
one of the best beats on the album, also incredibly underrated for replay value.
This is a great video
Thanks for watching!
was curious about some of the gkmc bonus tracks, love the recipe
wesley's theory has been my favourite kendrick song ever since i first heard it, that beat is just so groovy and k dot is just spitttinggggg
chapter six and blow my high being low is mind blowing to me
Chapter Six is a sleeper
@@brickradioYT fr bro. im fazed
great video 👏👏
Thanks for watching!
YES I’m so happy at #1! This shares my #1 Kendrick song and #1 just song in general, I love the dense packed in themes, of both the song and album, and it is literally the best sounding thing to ever touch my ears holy shit. I adore that song but I also adore so many other Kendrick songs. This dude is nothing short of a visionary
Greatest rap artist to ever do it
As a kendrick stan this list is amazing, i would put samidot 1 tho, but untitled 05 is so deserving as the best on that album i was not expecting that
As a kendrick stan this list is terrible
Did I miss How much a dollar cost because that is one of my favourite Kendrick songs
it was 18th which i believe is way lower than it should be. easily top 10 for me
Crown at 75 is worth a death sentence
I just can’t rock with it
Great video. A new approach in ranking songs that I don’t think I’ve seen done before.
While I don’t agree with a lot of the rankings it goes to show how great kdots music is.
*hot take, mortal man is top 3 songs on Tpab
But anyways keep it up. And I’m not sure if I already said it but GREAT video.
Thanks for checking it out! Some days I agree with you that mortal man is top 3, but that album is too hard to rank so thats why i made this video lol.
make an elo system for albulms discog we get best rapper in terms of albulms. similar concept with the sigma avg rating.@@brickradioYT
One day, somehow spotify shuffle played u and mirror back to back. I really almost cried. To hear this man who feels like he needs to be a savior just ripping himself to shreds, I don't think people get how truly gut wrenching u is. But to go straight from that into mirror, 6 years later, where kendrick is to the point where he chooses himself over all of the bullshit is so beautiful to me. Didn't raise my opinion on u because that song is already a 10/10, but it really made me love mirror so much more
I love that perspective! The contrast of TPAB and MMBS is almost exactly like what DAMN was trying to highlight in its themes 5 years before MM.
Bro played count me out at the end yet it ranked low lol
Momma, Mother I Sober, Crown, Count Me Out and For Free are way too low
If you leave Momma and Crown where they are then yeah, correct.
Poe Man's Dreams is a top 5 Kendrick song. Perfect song beginning to end.
Sooooooo good
Love the Wesley number 1, it’s my number 2 behind Duckworth but still😂
rich interlude is so good sad to see it low
Good vid well put together although i disagree with your opions on almost every track
Hell yes, Wesley's Theory deserves its props 👏
nah, its not top 20
XXX got slaughtered, honestly my second fav from damn just after duckworth
1 is xxx, 2 fear and 3 duckworth for me
Lololol bro I'm totally with you on good kid. I'm one of the few people that likes it more than mad city, that Pharrell beat and those layered vocals are so nuts
also the fact that he uses NO swear words at all on that song is crazy in hip hop
@@mkmaster2256 forreal, that's mind blowing
same, the instrumental is so nice
@@maxfinning-tt2bz that Pharrell production man
YAH????
MOMMA??
SAVOIR???? (interlude and full song)
Hope the algorithm pick this video up!
You and me both 🙏
Auntie Diaries is a lock for top 15 in his discography.
It genuinely pisses me off that fear is 23 that’s like a top 5 kendrick song undoubtedly
We gonna sing "R I P BRICK RADIO R I P" if you dont rank blow my high higher. Perfect son
There's too many perfect songs off tpab. Wesley's Theory, For Free?, Institutionalized, These Walls, U, For Sale?, How Much A Dollar Cost, Complexion, Momma, and Mortal Man are all 10/10. I thought I could choose one but I can't it changes by the second.
Agreed! One of the best albums of all time for a rzn
U really leavin out King Kunta, hood Politics, and i like that???
idk I don't agree with any of this but good video idea man
Valid
chapter 6 being that low is kind of insane to me. Its like honestly so heavenly and amazing. Numbers took an L with that one.
FEAR needs to be top 10
Top 5
i've never heard anybody appreciating for sale? and institutionalized, so thanks for that, but the slander for savior interlude and you aint gotta lie is a bit sad to see.
