Vettes have always been ahead of mustangs. Not in the same league, also not in the same price range.
If you get a dark horse you may as well opt for the 800hp whipple supercharger option which is now available.

I feel it. You made Blucifer yours and you've changed her around a few times, it's the perfect 13-14 GT for you. But it ain't no 14 GT500. That is THE perfect modern Mustang. I love my 13 GT too and I'm in the same boat, done alot of work getting her to where I wanted as well and I wouldn't trade it for nearly anything else BUT that is the one exception.

As aggressive as the Auto trans are combined with weight, the Vette gonna win. The best drivers can't speed shift as quickly as these newer auto trans. Add to that the loss of traction in the manual if you are hitting your shift points. The manuals are a lot more fun but it's apples and oranges imho

I feel like gen3 is fastwr than gen4, I have a gen now, my 10spd didnt disappont, this 24 6spd just doesn't feel as fast, even though I am going very quick, it just feels so much slower than my 2020 did....

Its the "dodge effect". when you are down concerning HP to weight ratio w/aerodynamics.....it doesn't generally end well.

Makes 5 more hp than a base stingray. Wider tires and more aero which is great for handling but creates drag when roll racing.
The stingray is better for drag racing in every aspect except for tire width. Stingray is lighter and doesn’t have as much track aero to create downforce

My brother-in-law had a camaro SS 1Le convertible standard shift. He traded it for a 2016 corvette grand sport. Then traded it for another 2016 Cameron SS 2le automatic. The vett
E was a standard also. He claims the convertible camaro had extra wait in the floor that maid it handle better in sharper turns than the corvette. You and. Jake need to go back to the road course and race those two cars. Also tell Jake he's acting like stang mode with that cheating. Lol

C7 Corvette weighs 3600lb unless you had some weight reduction on your car. Dark horrse is not a match for stingray simply because corvette's gearing is vicious expect the 5th gear.
Automatic makes for a better loss for DH

No shot. We raced a fbo e85 5.0 vs a bone stock c8 and that was fender it fender.
Not hating but the guy you raced def didnt know what he was doing. Peep on my channel, i filmed that video and it was good runs but no way a stock 10 speed is keeping up with stock c8 the weight advantage to power isnt even in question
