This is so true school definitely does not prepare you to do the job they teach you the basics of nursing but that’s one thing that I love about nursing is that your always learning no matter where u go
I had a student today and even today we did new things. I told her after 3.5 years, I am still doing and learning new things
David Robinson that’s so cool that you teach clinicals seems like something fun outside of beside nursing
It is a lot of fun because it is less responsibility and I actually get paid more an hour than I do at the bedside doing it lol

My friend actually called me up and told me I had to say yes haha. So they didn't interview me or anything they just gave me the job lol they are always hurting for clinical instructors

Hi, i am a nurse. I started last week but i am already experiencing difficulties on my unit. I am slowly trying to build some confidence because i lack confidence and its driving me nuts. I think the main reason i feel the i feel its because English barrier, I dont speak English fluently which limits my ability to speak to patients or family members or do things confidently. What suggestions can you give me?
