I started going for FNP and after 1 year in I did not like it at all. I am so glad I found this niche and I enjoy IT. I’ve already had a few interviews but it can be difficult to land a job. I won’t give up though. Most positions are remote. I feel you one hundred percent when you speak about making the workflow easier for nurses. We had an EPIC upgrade that makes our focused reassessments in 1- click much easier and saves time. I started by joining my clinical IT council at my current hospital. Thanks for sharing and I hope you’re doing well.

Are they Stretchy enough for large breast?

I have inflammation at my upper stomach I think is Sphichter or Oesophagus. This inflammation radiate to my middle upper back for the past 23 months. I have changed diet, I have used different medications. I had lost 10KG of weight. I’m scheduled for Gastroscopy on 1 Aug 2024 in 2 days, I hope we find the root cause. May everyone going through this find healing.

I'm an LPN ,..attended a LPN to RN in my late 20s failed (working and school Full time) got discouraged,..credits expired and now I'm thinking of doing it all over again. I'm 45

I still haven’t been diagnosed for this, but it’s been happening for a few years now, maybe 6 or 7 years. I’ve only been to the ER once, but they just gave me some pills/capsules and I can’t recall whether they were effective. It still occurs with certain foods, mainly corn chips/flakes and strawberries for some reason. I’ve learned how to deal with it whenever it happens, trying to throw some up if it’s super bad, then attempting a burping motion until it goes through I guess. I haven’t experienced any weight loss, and symptoms haven’t worsened in the past 6-7 years. If anything, it has become less frequent. Can anyone give me some feedback?

Hey! I'm currently an RN going for my MSN in informatics, I'm going to finish just for that extra boost to a job. I was wondering where do you find nurses in informatics in your hospital? I don't interact with informatics nurses ever, I'm not sure where I would find them.

How about hospital sponsored nursing programs? Then you have your employer play for your BSN.

It’s actually 16 hrs in a nursing home good guess lol. If ur not a cna first ur actually useless to me. Most nurses I have to teach things to. So I don’t think ur old enough or know enough to even say why u shouldn’t be a cna. It’s actually ridiculous.

I dropped out of FNP school. I hated it . I got through 1 year of the program and started clinicals. I then shadowed a CRNA, I didn’t like it . Too much liability and I would be a nervous wreck . I now decided to go into IT and MBA and I am so happy and excited .!

I have ANCC's NI-BC, and yes, it is very general and expensive.

I'm cool with a pay decrease, being a noob to informatics. A common problem is getting that entry-level position; so many places just want experienced employees and don't want to foster growth. I am hopeful my current hospital will prove me wrong in this. I was told by our CIO that she wants 5 INs and currently has 1. She let me know a few days ago that a new position would be posted soon. 🤞🤞

Thank you, currently enrolling back into school. Debating my career, but I've always known I've wanted to help people. Health care has been an interesting route to me. No one has really explained how to get into it, only how it is to be a Registered Nurse. I appreciate this video.

This is unbelievable. I landed an informatics job just like you described! Small team in a large organization. I maintain my own data & media servers at my house and I'm in the MSN Informatics program at my local college with bedside nursing experience since 2001. Im sure that helped because it was steep competition. I'm so excited to begin next month! Great video!
