I used to be pro choice. What was I thinking? I'm and atheist and I don't see this through religious eyes. A society that doesn't respect life is doomed. A fetus is a living human being. We're not talking about programs to help you raise your child! We're talking about women who are not even in situations or a position where they can raise a child, period, regardless of whether they have extra support or help. They're not trying to monopolize on people, they're a nonprofit organization. That is a fact. When it comes to providing sexual health to woman, they are absolutely not taking advantage of them. I really don't want to get in this argument with you. I never said abortion is empowering to women. And the benefits they provide to women are obviously to the mothers and not the fetus if it so happens to be female (often fetuses aren't aren't even old enough to tell age when aborted anyways). They help women when having a baby could damage her mental and physical health, when she can't afford it, when the pregnancy could ruin her life, job, or education, or when she feels that the quality of life of her child wouldn't be good.

It's about the professional and trustworthy national reputation, affordability, and the accessibility for low income people, isolated people, and minorities that Planned Parenthood provides, that other clinics just don't. I've done research into independent, un bias sources about Planned Parenthood, and the fact that American women rely on them heavily isn't a trick, it's a fact.

And this is in a community where this alternative existed. Not only that, but Planned Parenthood at least cared enough to send over patient records. In many communities, Planned Parenthood is all they've got, so when it shuts down there is simply nowhere to go, or women can't afford or don't trust the new places enough to even show up, let alone create a new patient record. Still think it wouldn't be bad if Planned Parenthood shut down around the country?

It is not Planned Parenthood’s job to help couples to become parents, they offer birth control to prevent pregnancy and the needs to prevent abortions. Using birth control is a part of family planning. When the right time to start a family, how many children can a couple afford, but you don’t have to complete a marriage by having children.

There's always adoption as an option for women who find themselves in situations of unplanned pregnancies. I would like to see more open, racially homogeonous domestic adoptions take place within Western countries. We should not be adopting children from the Third World and disposessing them of their own heritage when there are babies, including unborn ones, here in the West who need the help of loving couples.

So, aside from the fact a zygote/fetus/unborn baby before 24 weeks has 46 chromosomes (in most cases) tell me why YOU think it should be considered a full, living, human being who "deserves" constitutional rights over the mother's rights. Scientifically, what makes it a human being? I am open to discussing, agreeing with, and accepting scientifically sound opinion/fact.
Because the way I see it, a zygote/fetus/unborn baby lacks SO many of the basic functions and characteristics we ascribe to human beings, therefore it is not a human being yet. I never stated it was "potential" life, but rather meant a zygote/fetus/baby has the potential to LIVE (yes, they are alive) outside of womb, but this is all provided nothing goes wrong and they make it past the 24 week mark! Before that, in most cases they cannot live out of the womb. Besides, so much can go wrong during a pregnancy such as miscarriage when the women's body "decides" it is not safe to carry the baby. Mothers should be allowed to make that decision.

As an adoptee in reunion, I have a couple of remarks to make. First, I believe in pro life, but unfortunately, we here in California had to fight them in Sacramento because they are against "open records" for adoption. This was about 15 years ago. I at time when they appeared in the state judiciary hearing against the bill (yes-I was there), I then stopped my financial backing of the pro life movement. Now, I morally just support them. That is too bad, they should of just stuck to their primary objective! Second, as an adoptee in reunion, up until abortion became legal, they used to use adoption as a form of birth control. They still do, but less frequently due to abortion being legal. Third and finally, I have learned about the issues that the vast majority of adoptees carry around with them, and have learned to let most of them go, and am grateful that I am alive, and have and will continue to be a contributing member of society and a citizen in this country. I have and will continue to believe that abortion, except for extreme health concerns for the mother, should be illegal. Thank you for reading my 2 cents.

I went to planned parenthood to confirm my pregnancy in 2013 so I could get insurance. The woman came in the room, looked nervous as hell, I thought at first I had gotten a false positive the month before and that I wasn’t pregnant. She told me I was, and I said oh thank God. She quickly shut the door, looked relieved and told me “I’m so glad to hear that you’re happy about your pregnancy.” I was thinking, how many abortions has this woman scheduled this month? Jeez.

If they have monthly quotas to meet then they probably are not reliable enough to ensure that the mother is making the right choice emotionally in the initial consultation. There would be a push to probably encourage the abortion which is disgraceful. It is an individuals choice to have an abortion very early in the pregnancy, however, the government shouldn't pay for it.

Linda M Well I am glad that President Trump is doing something about it. Legal abortions in early pregnancy should not be taken away but at the expense of the individual and with proper emotional counseling prior to making a choice. I am from Australia and I was horrified when I found out what was going on. Mid-late term pregnancies should always be pro-life unless medically impossible due to complications that are fatal. Too many babies born prematurely end up living against the bad odds, they deserve the best chance and if not with the biological parents, then with adoptive parents.

Wow how did you know about baby hope(girl), it happened in my neighbourhood and they really had to dig up peoples yards and do the most and she was stuck where they couldnt reach her and many attempts failed but they kept going and everyone came to help it was the worst thing and we were so ashamed that it happend in our area but we will never foget that beautiful lil girl all lives are so precious absolutely.

James Wilson, one of the signers of the constitution, has said that they discussed at constitutional conventions, when hammering out the constitution, the fact that the right to life (liberty and happiness) included the unborn! Abortion has always been a great moral wrong, not saying we should ban it 100%, but the number of American "Christians" who eagerly shrug and support this obscene practice is frankly startling! :)
Abortion will not end, politically, but by changing people's hearts. Very well done movie, full of grace and non-judgmental. I (personally) struggle with the grace part - though I know it is the RIGHT way to approach it. I am a political animal and I think it's also important to remember that it is the DEMOCRAT party that is behind pro-abortion activity. This is a fact: Abortion is the 'sacrament' on the altar to the democrat party. Democrats will NOT tolerate pro-life political candidates. my mom had a miscarriage and when she went into get the baby out of her the doctor called it an abortion instead of calling it what it actually is. My mom cried so hard and the guy immediately apologized for it. A lot of pro choice arguments include miscarriages along with abortions and i just want to say that when a miscarriage happens the mother never wanted her child to die.

I think the jury should still be out on this yet on this woman. I'm not quite sure what her goal is. cuz we cannot forget she was involved in over 2,800 murders. she said so herself. I pray to the Lord that she's telling the truth. I also think it's too early to tell what the motivation is behind this. Why was she not appalled by this the first time she ever saw baby murdered? Help parents choose adoption rather than abortion. Parents do suffer emotionally by ending their unborn child's life through abortion. PP never warns nor mentions this fallout. Adoption is a win-win and provides a future. Mom and Dad are making the most loving choice for their child by utilizing the adoption process. The decision isn't easy but good things are not easy. Otherwise, everyone would be doing it.
