There are lots of outliers in political affiliations, and since they are people, there is a whole spectrum of beliefs. Being affiliated with a group doesn't mean what you believe, or whether you are likely to be right or wrong. For example, Donald Trump ran for two parties off and on. Also, Joe Biden is allowing private prisons to switch to holding immigrants after he revoked their prison licenses.

It is so refreshing to FINALLY see republican representatives (especially women IMHO) standing up and saying what these proposed laws are really about. CONTROL! They know that a large majority of people do not agree with the overly restrictive, no-exception laws that are being shoved through these states. My question is this, why not have these laws voted on by THE PEOPLE who they are ultimately affecting? Why? Because these legislators know that these laws, if voted on by their constitutes, will overwhelming be struck down just as they were in states such as Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, California and Vermont. And if that happens their control over women stops! Their control to decide how a women and her doctor makes healthcare decisions for her stops. They no longer have the control they so desperately need to make themselves feel like "real" men or better able to decide what is right for someone else and their families. They no longer will be on their "power trips". And let's face it...that loss of power over making decisions for someone else, anyone else, is the one thing they can't give up.
Yeah, and while we're at it lets make it so that laws regarding murder can only be voted on by people who have had loved ones murdered. Unfortunately, you have zero understanding of abortion, women's health issues and the female reproductive system.
We can look at the issue from another angle by making it mandatory that all men/boys have a vasectomy which can be reversed when married & planning to have children. All r@pists should have their "member" removed to prevent temptation. That would solve a lot of abortion issues.
Abortions do not happen because of the embryos age. Women aren’t locations. This is about the human right to decided how your organs and body are used. Bodily autonomy supersedes right to live, always.

Abortion isn't murder in the fact that the "Baby" isn't a live yet. It has as much of a consciousness as a potato and is no more than an organ distinct to females during pregnancy. But you can consider an unborn fetus a "baby", if the parents both plan on bearing it, as it would be a born baby anyways.
And frankly, it should be up to the choice of the couple, not some religious belief or some philosophical paradox of whether a future-alive clump of cells can be considered as an individual lifeform. If the couple feel like it's not the best time to have a baby(for whatever reason, may it be financially or unintended in general), then that should be the end of that

If you see someone get shot on the street do you care? I mean you weren't involved, it doesn't have anything to do with you, right? Would you be ok not doing anything? Of course not, because no empathetic person will stand by while others are killed.
