Quotas?? So, then, these clinics are quite literally mills. One abortion after another. My one experience with them was obtaining a diaphragm at 18 (not the most effective birth control, but I wanted a barrier method to reduce STD risks). I've never been pregnant. I don't know what I would have done back then when I was single and pro-choice. I'm now middle-aged, pro-life, and well aware of what a heart-rending decision I could have been faced with...
I don't rely on polls that are conducted on women a 'few days later'. I read articles written by women who have regretted them in the long run. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, as you must know, doesn't hit immediately. It can creep up on people weeks, months, or even years after a traumatic situation is over. So many regrets and needless deaths, just because people want to rut like animals and not even bother with condoms or the highly effective Pill (and yes, I know a percentage of women can't or shouldn't take the Pill, but sex outside marriage isn't vital to health like sleep or nourishment, whereas flushing a new life away is selfish and sometimes dangerous, so maybe people should do away with this disgusting 'hookup culture' if no form of contraception is suitable for them).
And, yes, before you point it out, I did have pre-marital sex, but used the diaphragm and eventually the Pill, and this was years before I met my husband. I was pro-choice when I married him, but after years of struggling more with the abortion issue than any other issue, I realized I could no longer condone abortion, with the one exception of serious threat to the mother's life.
I'm sorry, Souven Jr. I really went on the defensive and in a nasty way. It's just that I've been seeing a lot of pictures that really upset me, and dwelling on the issue a lot lately. It sort of hits close to home, because my paternal grandmother swore on her life that my mom had an abortion due to getting pregnant from an extramarital affair when my parents' marriage was already in trouble. She made me promise to never tell my mom what I knew, and it's none of my business anyway (though I highly doubt my grandmother would lie about something like that. I don't want to bother my dad about it either, though he would probably tell me the truth because he's a very honest person). I need to remember the recent OneLife LA walk I participated in. It was such a positive atmosphere, and I felt so happy that day...

In my personal opinion, a third-trimester abortion is necessary to preserve the woman's integrity and right to privacy, whether or not she decides to be a mother at that stage or not, I recognize that at this stage is killing, but we should know that a fully grown person cannot develop well outside a womb.

Frank Ping, nobody in government wants to audit because nobody in government wants to know. The big story of 2016 is that governing elites don't represent you or I. They represent their own ideology. It is a story of the betrayal of public trust. Just like Sally Yates, individual bureaucrats will use their power and discretion to further their own ideological agenda. They are not 'servants' of the public.

Thank-you. I would like to know what planned parenthood contributes our tax dollars and donations: as far as home-child-rearing? I’m not axing for 3 or 4 years of support... merely requesting discussion for 9 months, of support following baby delivery.... oh, and not only on Planned Parenthood for this gift, as there are many other wonderful volunteers that want to care-for-and-nurture babies.

All of these people slamming PP, but do they adopt babies, do they donate to adoption centers, do they help children who were born into unfortunate events? Do they educate the community about unprotected sex and consequense? Do they help create ways that will help both the mother and baby live fullfilling lives? I don't think so. Many of these people don't contribute anything but hate. Stop protesting and hating, and start helping, maybe abortions wont be needed anymore.

If no “planned parenthood” center performs mammograms how did they detect my aunts breast cancer last year and probably saved her life?? Just by looking at it? I don’t think so. Please make some research before you take someone on TV, it has a bigger repercussion than it may seem. Maybe since this came up some teens changed their mind about going there to get tested or to get information about sexual health care. Yes she worked there for 8 years. After she quit they took her to court to try to put a gag order on her to not talk about anything or be able to publish her books. She won. And published a few books.
Ashton Vicci, oh that makes it better. Actually the baby parts were not 'donated' to Planned Parenthood so they could turn around and re-donate them. No, the babies were killed, their bodies hacked to pieces during the procedure, and the parts were then disposed of, some to 'scientists'. If someone hacked your arm off and then 'donated' it to a scientist would you feel the whole thing was justified?
