  • Groundnut or Peanut butter soup is one of the best tasting Ghanaian dishes from Ghana. Its versatility, in terms of what one can accompany it with, is what makes it a firm favourite in most Ghanaian homes. Enjoy the Groundnut soup with boiled Yam, Plantain, Potatoes, Fufu, Banku etc...

Leaving for Ghana next week and I’m looking forward to the cuisine. My son-in-law, who is from Accra, is a chef and makes “Peanut Butter Goat. I have never really liked spicy food, but Ghanaians are so hospitable and accommodating they always take care of me. I’m looking forward to making him an authentic Ghanaian dish! Thank you Ndudu.

I wanted to make a peanut soup for dinner and what did I do? I came to see how Fafa made hers first! I never have blended the peanuts paste tomatoes and onion la before, I have a pressure cooker and dump meat, peanuts paste, a can of chopped tomatoes, some onions, salt and seasoning and of course after 15 min, it comes out bland, not bursting in flavour like yours!
