  • THE Perfect PALM NUT SOUP Recipe. ABENKWAN /BANGA SOUP/ Dekou Dessi
    Enjoy this classic Ghanaian soup made from Palm fruits. The Palm fruits are also used in making Palm oil. Christmas in Ghana always includes a dish with soup and this pairs perfectly.
    Full recipe including the ingredients and measurements, is available on my blog now;

    Hello Ndudu by Fafa, i was just curious to know. Is the the palm nut a ‘nut’ or a ‘fruit’ . I understand that it is obvious in the name, but was just asking on behalf of someone who has a nut allergy ? I’ve tried to research the internet, but it seems to come up with ‘fruit’ rather than nut. 😊

    • @NdudubyFafa
      @NdudubyFafa  Před 6 lety

      Palm nut and Coconut come from different types of Palm trees. Proteins are what causes allergies, however Coconut oil or Palm oil have low levels or no protein. Best to contact your dietician for further details

      If you add the meat too early it would become too soft..remember you already cooked it once. Your soup tasting blund is probably because you didn't spice your meat well..
