Now their “taking a knee” to racist, anti-White, anti-nuclear family, communistic Black Lives Matter. The Black players give the Black power salute and it is all backed by the football associations.
They’ve gotten away with it because fans have been absent due to lockdown but recently a limited number of fans have been allowed in to certain games. The “kneelers” have been roundly booed by Millwall, Colchester and QPR fans and it is the fans that have been condemned as “racist” by football authorities, media and politicians. Changed days indeed.

They left Scotland for England to get far bigger Wages. Lou Macari said when he went Man Utd 74ish they doubled his wages. Then they got a signing on Fee. You sure it werent Money Motivated. The lower Celtic crowd at this match may be due in part to the violence caused by Rangers fans after they lost the 1980 cup final to Celtic, when adult Rangers fans attacked the children who had run on to celebrate from the Celtic end (it backfired on them as the adult Celtic fans who ran onto the field to protect the younger fans gave the Rangers support a hell of a beating). But no one could blame a lot of the younger Celtic fans for staying away from such a toxic fixture.
It's noticeable that Celtic always had far higher attendances for non-Old Firm Hampden finals in that period. In fact, Celtic hold all the club attendance records at Hampden. The 1937 Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Aberdeen drew an official crowd of 147,365, a world record for a club match, with 20,000 more people locked outside. The European Cup match between Celtic and Leeds United in 1970 was attended by 136,505, which is a UEFA competition record.
