Chuck with the words of encouragement…he told Kenny he’s a top 5,000 player ever.
There are only 5,000 NBA players ever hahaah
😄🤣🤣🤣

Charles just jealous that Kenny loves Shaq more than him 😆

Tony Parker and Manu don’t even make honorable mentions. SMH

They have better resume than melo and AD, especially considering the international performance. Giving ad a spot now is way too early
Tony and Manu would be trash without Duncan

Shaq probably voted twice for it

they put in melo too, who's just a playoff gatekeeper with no defense.. dwight carried a team to a finals, led entire league in rebounding for a time.. dwight's resume>melo/dame/AD
@@pihermoso11 The biggest problem would be it's not disclosed who votes whom, so the voters were not held accountable for their votes, and they can do whatever they want and snub whoever they want. Then it's sort of become who has more friends/haters in the NBA world. The voting process was ill advised. It's one thing to be subjective and another thing to be unfair. To me the list without Dwight is unfair. If you are the top 5 players in a 5 years period, then averagely, you should be the top 75 players in a 75 years period, let alone that period had all the other 10 or so all time greats in their prime. If the voters were to disclose their votes, Dwight would sure make the list.
It was Shaq 😂
McGrady had a 32.1 PPG season, a 7.9 RPG season, and a 6.5 APG season. He is kind of an efficiency monster. I didn't think it was possible to name 15 shooting guards without McGrady being one of them.
I can only name 3 before I get to him, and one is because championships only, Jordan, Kobe,Wade…..

Dwight Howard the craziest snub in terms of accolades. Nba players absolutely hate him, it’s obvious as he wasn’t even brought up during this. 8x ALL NBA, 3x DPOY, took Orlando to the finals, top 5 in mvp voting 4 times, etc while Dame is only 6x all nba with no other accolades…
Dwight took a overachieving Orlando team to the finals in a weak conference, lets be honest here, Dwight is a HOFer for sure, but since he’s left Orlando he’s hasn’t been a superstar.. Dame came in as a top tier talent, one of the best point guards of this generation (that’s saying a lot because it’s the golden era for PG’s) easily one of the most clutch players we’ve ever seen in the history of the sport, Dwight Howard has been a journeyman for the past 5 years.. he’s been bounced around the league.. there’s a reason for that. I understand that late 00s Dwight was a top 5 player, but let it go man.. that was over a decade ago. Dame has been a better player than him since 2013, also didn’t Dame send him home with a series ending game winner during that Rockets vs Blazers series in 2014? yea.. let’s not forget who Dame Dolla is.
Dame wouldnt miss clutch FTs in the Finals.
Ad making it over him is insane
He better that most of the players in top 75.
He better that most of the players in top 75.
Dikembe’s finger wag celebration is so iconic that even players / Centers today are doing it such as Clint Capela, plus he’s a international player if that helps
Lol Clint Capella is not a good example 😂
@@Omar62769 tru & fair enough, but he’s on the Atlanta Hawk rn which is one the more notable teams Dikembe is known for during his prime days; aside from Denver
It's tough because the NBA will forever and stubbornly include the jurassic players. If the NBA finally separates the amateurs and pros, we would not have a nonsensical list like this one. Mutombo was a professional playing in the golden age of his position, meanwhile he is tossed aside in favor of amateurs like Wilt, Russell, Mikan, etc.. this is were the NBA needs to draw the line because it's simply unfair to put these old guys in perspective. Wilt grabbed 25 rebounds per game, but against postman and milkman (literally, this is not a urban legend), meanwhile you have centers like Mutombo and Howard grabbing 10, 15 rebounds against professionals, how these players belong in the same parameter?
@@secoTheSonicFan No wonder, it's a profession that doesn't exist anymore. We are talking about people who were born in the 1930s. Imagine in 2050 people comparing the current centers with George Mikan, it's ridiculous
@@RRRRRRRRR33 and do you have no concept of greatness? You can only be the best in your time… Under the circumstances you are given… PLAYERS LEARN from watching the current greats on TV
So in 2050 you want Jordan and Lebron off the list? Jordan went up against a lot of white guards … I guess you dont respect him?
Damien Lillard on this list over Vince Carter is pretty laughable
i'm more surprised c webb wasnrtr mentiond
Lillard over VC anyday, VC never lived up to his potential he should’ve been on par with Kobe but he never committed to defense in an era where playing both ways counted and his offensive game was rather stagnant besides the 01 Philly series and 02 run he was a really good reg season player and that’s it, TMac Penny and Grant pre injuries were better than VC

Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard shouldn't be on this list at all, let alone over Vince Carter.
AMEN.
It's a glorified popularity contest
And Melo.
They forgot it's not the All-Star game so they put in AD and Lillard? Melo? Add them in the best 100th not them over Vince.

Why do every single NBA media forget about manu , tony and pau
Don't forget Klay.

HUGE props to Kenny for calling out Yao missing on the snub list!
Far away from top 75, retired at like 30 years old, injured throughout his prime, no postseason success to speak of.
@Spokesman of MJ He's important in the context that he was instrumental in the blowup of basketball in China as the first Asian basketball player to make a significant impact on the court. Sure injuries stopped his career short, but when he was healthy he was 20/10/3 guy with one of the higest FT%'s of any big man to date. ImO he warrants being in the discussion as I'm sure he was.
@@Chinyccd 0:58 says it all Shaqs smile, whenever Yao vs Shaq played, it was always a dominating performance by both big men. There should also be lots more others name mentioned in that snub list.
agreed...Yao was 1 of those rare & special players we will most likely never see again
I'd say that Joe Dumars should have been on the list. He was the 1989 Finals MVP. And if it wasn't for him, Isiah and the Badboys would have never existed
Bernard King. Never saw him play live but seen him in replays, highlights and documentaries. He was awesome. Also the fact coming back from an ACL injury without the medical advancements today, that's something.
He was basically the Melo of the 80's
The great Dennis Johnson winning 3 nba titles 1 in Seattle 2 in Boston plus he was a defensive specialist on the 80s Celtics teams
Also 1979 Finals MVP
Man set the blue print for Ron Harper and the Bulls.
In every MJ highlight you can see that dunk on Dikembe, that's how hard and what kind of achievement was to dunk on him.
Dikembe inspired so many centers of his generation to contest and block shots + he was a real anchor for his team
Agreed. Mutumbo is easily the biggest snub. After that, then you can begin arguing other people.
Not hating on Ernie or anybody who made the list but when you’re letting sentimental stuff impact who you vote for on a list like this then you’re doing it wrong. What a guy did in the community isn’t relevant to the top 75 players all time.
Except for someone like Karl Malone for example
@@anxiety1018 I see what you did there 😂

You read things in the wrong way.
But mutombo should have been on the list 4 time dpoy 2nd all time in blocks as well 8 time all star and a hall of famer and one of the best rim protector to play the game
- Walt Bellamy
- Artis Gilmore (hybrid of Wilt and Kareem, hands down)
- Alonzo Mourning (hands down)
- Dikembe Mutombo
- Chris Webber (should replace with Anthony Davis, who's a little bit early to be on like Shaq probably was)
- Dwight Howard
- Dennis Johnson
- Joe Dumars (second best East shooting guard behind MJ in the latter 80's and early 90's)
- Chris Mullin
- Alex English
- Mark Aguirre
- Adrian Dantley
- Bernard King
Dwight being left off that list seems like a personal thing to me. He’s done way more than a lot of players on that list now. Especially more than Damian Lillard
The #NBA75 list is decent. I hope these guys make #NBA100: Chauncey Billups • Vince Carter • Joe Dumars • Alex English • Artis Gilmore • Manu Ginobili • Penny Hardaway • Grant Hill • Dwight Howard • Dennis Johnson • Bernard King • Tracy McGrady • Sidney Moncrief • Dikembe Mutombo • Tony Parker • Derrick Rose • Chris Webber
Derrick rose nah sorry
Klay Thompson
Jimmy Butler and Kyrie
Walt Bellamy should've been on the top 50 list.
Ben Wallace
Thanks to the YT crew putting these up. Love watching this group.
Same
YT crew?
I'm surprised at no mention of Chris Webber. He had a better and more successful 5 year run than a lot of the guys added to the original 50.
I love Chris but timing was just bad KG, Dirk, Tim all existed and were simply better than him so in his own era he’s the 4th or 5th best at his position math wise you would say you should have 15 PF on the list but I would guess less since there have been more stars on some of the other positions. He also played at the tail end of guys like Karl Malone and Barkley. So just in his own playing career he ran into about 7-8 pantheon PF who were clearly better than him. That’s in a 15 year span bout. Not think of the other 50 years all of the best PF of the time are gonna make the list Idt he would make the list right now over AD. Chris had a span where he looked like the best PF AD had a run in NO where he looked like the most efficient big to ever play on both sides of the ball then went to LA and won
CWebb was just as good as any of his contemporaries. The problem for him more than anything was injuries (shoulder and acl) and rigged refereeing (2002 Lakers anyone?).

Same arguments that you can make against Yao essentially. Not that they both weren't great players because they absolutely were.
You answer it yourself, McGrady had like 4 seasons and that's it, he died right there. Why is Anthony Davis on the list? I'd take jokic and embiid over him and I don't think those 2 should be on the list
Probably because he has a ring. And you could argue he's almost as valuable as LeBron was in their championship run.
@@mcoeif that’s only one year. That shouldn’t be enough to make the top 75. In AD’s first 8 years when he had his own team he only won ONE playoff series.
@@supermoneymagnet1 and that one playoff series win was because of Rondo more than AD. AD so overrated.
@@belak1551 Exactly!!!!! The talent is these but he didn’t accomplish much playing with solid players. Everyone wants to act like those Pelican teams were so bad when he played with Rondo, Randle, Holiday, Cousins, Mirotic etc. He played with all stars and solid guys.
Tmac definitely got snubbed smh. One of my all time favorite players. Loved his battles with Kobe RIP. He could do everything Kobe did and he was 6'9.
@@UndercoverSpill facts. I agree.
Manu Ginóbili??? Should be on this list period..
2x all-star, came off bench most of his career, delusional lol
@@oijoijoijify Ginobili destroyed all the teams defenses winning everything and Kobe said he was one of the best players ever...

I'm English & understand Vince is the man 💯
TONY FREAKING PARKER HOW MANY PLAYERS IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME GOT 4 RINGS AND 1 FMVP?
I need clarity, I've seen some video headlines like Magic Johnson reacts to be being on the 75 list. I was under the impression that they kept the original 50 list and added 25 more players. Did they do the list over from scratch?
Nope your impression is correct
Yao Ming should definitely be on the missed list
uh Arvydas Sabonis should be on there over Yao!
@@noitallmanaz it's an NBA list, Sabonis wasn't good enough in the NBA despite being an exceptionally great player.
no. not even close
No he shouldn’t.
@@rayleigh8 Explain
dame should not have been in over klay thompson
I agree. Cant take this list seriously
Chuck is always hilarious… my favorite sportscaster/analyst.
Vince Carter, Bernard King, Dikembe Mutombo (DEF Master) and omitted - were shocking!!
Did they not even mention Dwight?? His resume is solid, it's disrespectful
Shaq ain’t letting that convo happen 😂
Dwight Howard definitely deserves to be included
1x NBA Champ
8x All Star
8x All NBA
5x All Defense
3x DPOY
5x Rebounding leader
2x Blocks Leader
It doesn't get any better than that. VC and T-Mac deserves considerations too. But I'll pass on Kyrie. Both AD and Dame got in too early. Actually if they consider international success, Yao Ming deserves a mention. 8 seasons, 8 all star appearances. That's something!
Dunk champion
…if they consider international success… Pau Gasol deserves a mention.

Dwight is a champion, 3x back to back to back DPOY and was an absolute monster in his prime, he had no competition, period. I'm surprised he didn't make it.
Dwight got no business on it
@@ImGonnaBlameTheMEEDUHSid And Anthony Davis does?
putting Kwai, Lilard, AD, Westbrook, in front of VC, T Mac and G Hill is just disrespectful man!
Leonard deserves to be on it. 2 time finals MVP, 5 All NBA Teams, 5 time all star, 2 time defensive player of the year and he'll probably add to those all NBA and all star numbers.
Dwight, Vince, Tony, Dikembe and more deserved it more than AD and Dame.
Russ deserves it for the triple doubles record
Casuals boy you sleep
You do know Russ is an mvp right
Russ deserved it. You would have to argue ad and dame
Russ is an mvp who averaged a triple double multiple times is a lock. It’s Russ then Dwight then AD. All the rest should be off
Carter, McGrady, Hill. 3 of the most unique talents that ever graced a basketball. They should be on a top 30 list!
Bernard King is the better version of Melo. His numbers both season and playoffs is off the chart
These young cats don't know about Bernard King. Bernard could drop 50 on you and make it look easy. He was one of the first truly unguardable players I ever saw. Injuries kept him from being recognized as one of the greatest all time. Still deserved to be on this list though.
@@chrisballard5743 Totally Got That Right!
Bernard King was dropping 29ppg at Melo's current age in DC, even after all the injuries. He was unreal.
You cut the best part man, Also Mcgrady needed to be on that list for sure.
T-Mac and Vince I would have liked to see on the list
Dwight got absolutely DISRESPECTED
Bernard King is a big surprise. He basically carried the whole Knicks team for almost a decade. Feel for him. He is almost unstoppable when in the zone.
Dude, I’m just checking the names. How can you have players like AD, Giannis, Chris Pauli, Kawhi, Harden in there? From the actively players, Lebron is the obvious exception, but wait for those guys to finish there career to judged their impact. Not a Spurs fan particularly, but if Manu and Toni are not on this list, AD, Giannis, Chris, Kawhi and James have nothing to do on there. Those two were the driving force with Timmy D. of the best team playing from the beginning of the 2000s until mid 2010s. Again if you include those „new“ guys, you have to have at least also have a spot for Melo and Vince Carter before them.
Understand your point but you lost Mr with Chris Paul. Clearly he already one of the greatest pg's in NBA history
Chuck is a savage!😂😂😂
Pau Gasol, Manu and Parker even snub in a snub list lol
"did he just block my shot?" xD
No one said Chris Webber. Alonzo Mourning, Tim Hardaway, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson
Kyrie and Klay don't deserve it. Actually maybe Klay
@@cc-92 Both integral parts of championship teams and the games they played in and the impact. Seeing some of the other players that currently play and to see them off the list doesn’t make sense. But that’s my opinion, like you have yours
@@bblue1555 Kyrie hasn’t had any success really outside the Lebron cavs years and also has had injury issues. Hasn’t made many all nba teams. Klay has a case due to being part of possibly the best backcourt ever and his rings.
@@cc-92 Kyrie along with Lebron beat a 73-9 Golden State and besides that success the kind of player he is, we haven’t seen a player who can finish at the basket like him with either hand or the kind of handle he has on the ball.
@@bblue1555 That’s why I said outside of Lebron years. Also he only participated in 2 finals appearances because he got hurt the first year. He didn’t do anything in Boston and got hurt again in Brooklyn. Making the 75th anniversary team is about longevity and consistency. That’s why I don’t think AD deserves to be on the list.
