- I'm finally going after these gutters! Don't worry, it isn't as daunting of a task as it may seem.

PSA: No lizards were harmed during this video. We love all of the critters in the garden, big and small.

That lizard 🦎 will blend in with any succulent 😂 🤣 here in Florida they greet you at your door 🚪 😂 good to know they are good for the garden, I have 1000’s 😂 hubby is scared 😱 to death of them. As long as they do not jump on me I’m good.

I love finding lizards, newts and worms in my garden! I feel like they must feel content there. Just no spiders! Laura, the colors in your gutter gardens are amazing! My husband put up two for me not too long ago and my goal is for them to be as lush and colorful as yours! 🥰

I love the succulent gutters Wish I could keep one or two out here in zone 7bMD. I swear I jumped when the lizard appeared, lol I do that with black snakes in my garden,,,they scare the bi-Jesus out of me. LOL Love love your channel !!!

Your reaction to the lizard is quite funny. I remember once some of my students encountered one on their way to my classroom. They rushed into the classroom and said “we’ve got a new classmate today.” That lizard followed them into my classroom, stayed for a while and decided to skip the class🤣🤣🤣

That looked like an alligator lizard. Regular lizards are cute especially when they are babies but the alligator lizards look to much like snakes. We had a huge one in our patio for a couple of years finally ventured into our AC & was electrocuted. Don’t kill them I hear they are good for your garden and a sign of a healthy garden. BTW, for my bday this holiday weekend, I want to do a tour of the nurseries/ plant places in San Diego. Besides Waterwise Botanicals and Planters Paradise what other places do you recommend. I am on the hunt for new and different succulents/cactus and colorful big garden pots. As always thanks for your great advice

Hello Maam Laura.. I am living in the tropical zone. We don't have winter.. Someone gave me an Aeonium kiwi but it doesn't root though I already plant it for months in the soil. It always rain in here, I don't know if it loves to be outside with rain and shine..

hello laura, i have some cherry tart succulents and they are getting very long and i wanted to cut some of them down and propegate them. can i do like you do in this video just cut them and plant them in soil, or do i need to let them scar on the cut end before repotting them and keep out of sun? thanks love your channel
Just keep out of the sun for a couple of weeks at least!
I want to do this on my patio but don’t want to drill into the brick 🧱 I live in Texas so they’d have to be in a little morning sun because by 10am it’s 100 degrees, I’d even suggest just bright light and no direct sun in Texas. Am I wrong ? ❤️

Plastic would be better. Won’t get as hot or as cold as aluminum.

If you add plenty of draining holes, should be ok.

What kind of sun do your gutters get. I put some n my fence on my side yard but every cutting I put in gets burned. It’s west facing fence but my house blocks most afternoon sun. It does get direct sun from 11-1. How do I get my gutters to look like yours without sunburn? Thanks! Love your videos!
