- With just a few natural-language prompts, Unity Muse delivers the power of generative AI so you can save significant game development time in the ideation and iteration phase. Watch this video to see how it can transform the way you work in the Unity Editor. Regardless of your skill level, we show how you can use this powerful technology to build an entire game level in just 20 minutes. It says an awful lot about your 'responsible AI practices' when the provided link is broken and goes nowhere.
@@jjones1032 Hi! The link works for us and on multiple devices. It may be a cookie issue on your end
@@unity Hmm. Just getting an error on my end. "An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later."
The problem isn't texture though, it's applying them to UV you have to unwrap yourself. Wrong problem wrong solution
@@unityany way things getting capitalism isn't it. Any way my unity version is unity lts 2022. In that shader graph give me weird bugs. Sometimes dosen't let me connect node but I can by making new preview node after just plug in.
People not realizing that this is a TEXTURE generator, not an image generator. It’s also generating the reflectivity and depth maps (for blender that equals ‘roughness’ and ‘bump’ nodes in Principled shader), which is indeed a huge time saver particularly for devs that don’t have many hours of practice doing this.
theres a massive difference between texturising a scene and prototyping a scene.. this is not prototyping a scene in 20 mins
The AI got the title wrong
@@gazeth 🤣🤣🤣
Bro is teaching to a game engine team 😂.
We pay 30$ for Unity Muse, there is no problem with that, but why are there credits? Isn't this ridiculous?
Was hoping Muse might be able to generate 3D models, or even design levels / place gameObjects around your scene based on your prompts, but instead it's just another image generator in an already saturated market
they are working on it dude...
I love the goals of uMuse and the style trainer is very interesting. I want to support the development but man $30 per month while most features can be done outside of unity for free at a much higher quality level, even if it takes a little bit longer to drag the assets into your project folder. At least match the pricing to competing AI platforms with similar features, like a limited amount of free generation per month, and then you can add subscriptions to get unlimited generations.
$30 is a bit... Well, i will do it outside
30$ for unlimited use of all what Muse can offer is good price, but it is not unlimited... for that 30$ you can only do 30 message on chat and your "points" is gone and you must wait for next month for using that Muse. Of course you must pay that 30$ again...
YJ is the most comfortable, fluid speaker I’ve seen from a Unity event. Not to dis on the others, I get it, they’re developers and I relate to that. But it was just interesting to see, and I enjoy listening to him.
I'm using Unity Muse Sprite (1.0.0-pre.3) and the results are like Dalle 1. Even worse than in the video. Still needs to improve.
That is why is calling "prototype", not meant to be used as production... maybe yet?
The hint is literally in 'pre.3'
@@JuniorDjjrMixMods @Th3-Mast3rmind Indeed. But one thing doesn't take away the other.
It is legitimate to expect more if you are paying 30€ per month.
So Stable Diffusion in Unity then ?
it would be awesome if it can just build 3d world by creating 3d assets, it would save lots of time for level designer and instead of searching 3d assets in other websites
I had some problems with the link as well but if you go through the cloud dashboard and then to the muse for onboarding it should let you set it up that way.
I am super excited to use the new Sprite I have had the muse and I knew of the textures but I did not know of the Sprite or their type of in painting this is a game changer😶🌫👾🤖🤯
nothing says no preparation more than looking at the screen the entirety of the presentation narrating what was on screen.
awesome! i've been using muse texture and sprite and it's so cool that these ai models were built from scratch. can't wait to see these tools improve over the year...
Yeah but those textures are only for flat surfaces with a planar mapping. They don’t work for n unwrapped models… 😅
Of course man its unity 😂😂
What do you mean? They will tile across any surface, unwrapped or not. They aren't meant to work for characters. Even then you can unwrap most of the material parts in a way that uses a tiling texture..
this is incredible well done!
Anyone know the energy use of using muse in this way? Is it on device or cloud ?
Honestly, this would've look pretty innovative, but i think it needs to improve up a bit.
Since i could imagine that it's in it's baby steps, i think it shood possibly improve up some more like getting better at various prompts, art and possibly some other things that could make it useful and helpful at the same time.
I wonder if Unreal Engine, Godot (i will be it for free for people who use Godot) and possibly some other game engines could replicate such something like this A.I from Unity but i will be it way better and a bit improved and maybe accurate enough when time progresses in the future.
Pretty innovative, would've been better if it had some various improvements and some other stuff to make it more useful and helpful for some.

Epic ❤
As he said, he is an amateur and that is why he is satisfied with these results. Also where is the prototype?
I acknowledge the potential behind this tool, but these examples are not that amusing. It's not clear to which point these textures cover PBR auxiliar textures and diffuse profiles... And obviously no unwrapped stuff. So indeed seems like a manually curated collection of materials is still the option to follow. And the sprites... Very limited style, so don't see a point for it. I hope I am missing things here and it's indeed better than it looks. Thinking about it, saying this is a tool a 4 years old would use is cute... But maybe not the best way to introduce this.....
This is awesome
TLDR: ..15-дневную бесплатную пробную версию..
30$? Thank you, no need.
This is great but in the same time one of the reasons I will quit learning unity, markets will be overflooded with indie games this decade.
Did he really just drag a material onto a mesh and say pretty cool right? I mean, applying materials to meshes is literally first thing you learn. Why is he acting like it is pretty cool? That part made no sense.
It was pretty cool how they put an Ai generated material on a mesh
Muse have dataset now? Or useless again? 1 bought 1 month but i dont have training pictures so i made better in paint. XD
There wasn't any game prototyping in this video.
Just make the engine open source and that's it... thanks for nothing.
I tried to use thi Muse, but after i calculated that only one message in muse chat cost me 100 points and Unity want me to pay 30$ for 3000 points so only one asking unity chat need for me to pay 1$ ? What the f...? I wonder how much that "amateur" need to pay if he was not unity staff - 1000$ for that 20 min? It is definition of SCAM.
Is this what they 've been working on?!?! while unity misses terrain tools, tree system, grass system, floating point solution, terrain streaming,shaders,stability...😂 OMG and they reinvent "midjourney" in the editor 😂 i even doubt all those textures are batched thé right way 😂
Is this a serious engine?
🤮
🤮
I see you are a man of culture as well
accurate post
Disappointing.
Who uses Unity?
Poor asset designers... so many lost jobs
This is not cool for artists...
i hate those AI trand
