I absolutely love the fact that Felix has been confused for years about what the fuck do people eat in UK. I've been in London for 4,5 year and I still don't know. It's weird.
This was so strange to me both times I visited I kept expecting to find some kind of on the go shop selling well anything out of a window or a small store the notion that I had to whip out my cell in one of the largest cities in the world just to find a stand selling cornish pastys is still insane to me.
I went to londons for one month and the only think i eat probably nandos 😭

The fact that the normal sized red bull and the large 473ml (which was like £2.50), are both options for a £3 deal that involves a sandwich/wrap/pasta pot and a grab bag of crisps worth almost £1. Really good value.
I used to go 50/50 with my friends they’d get the drink and I’d get the food
its 3.40 now with a clubcard and normal price is 3.90

Morrisons is EASILY the best uk supermarket meal deal, because you can get a medium salad bar as the main. That shit is self service and you can absolutely cram loads of food into the tray. Loads of tasty and healthy options in it as well, I often get one and it’s so much food I only eat a very small dinner when I get home cos I’m still so full.
My local store does in store made sushi too which is actually pretty good! They also do a few in store salads too like a meze platter and fresh salmon salad too! (Though some have a £1 upgrade fee
If I was with someone that usually cooks there's no reason to really go eat fast food.

That's still different. No way I'm gonna ask for a bucket of deepfried chicken, I'd just grab some from KFC. Burgers? Order from some decent chain. Pizza? You ain't making proper pizza in regular oven.
I do rather cook my own meal than go eating fast food, but i sometimes still go for some take out fried chicky

@@AC-fg4kg Even with a pizza stone regular ovens don't get hot enough to make proper pizza. If you have to cook the pizza more than a 3-5 minutes it's not hot enough.

Not sure if it was just bad corriander or not though, but it was consistently horrid
coriander is supposed to have a taste reminiscent of citrus, a lemon or lime flavor. if this is not the taste you experience, that means you lack the genes that allow you to taste coriander as it is supposed to. if you taste a soapy flavour, you might additionally have genes that make those foul-tasting compounds more noticeable

If I was to describe the taste, it's like pungent soap. It starts out fine at first, but after about 3 seconds in my mouth the taste ramps up, and then it's either spit it out or vomit haha

Nha,that is only if you have a clubcard, the normal piece is 3.90 now. Its insane also how many people don't have a club card,because I work in the till and 10 out 1 people have one.
I do notice that. Nobody has a Clubcard these days, it's insane. They literally work so well, the discounts are really good. It's a shame some shops here have really crappy reward systems.

Japanese food is in with the uk? I saw a sushi place in Edinburgh about 20 years ago I guess its still there but that is the only one I ever saw here. In London I would believe it though they have all sorts of food there. They even have the only Jolly Bee in the uk and maybe europe. ( a philippines fast food chain ). Not that I ever go to London if I can help it lol

Lets be utterly objective here. Greggs uses frozen oven cooked ready made patries. Any real bakery that makes fresh patries will defeat them.
Tesco or supermarket sandwiches are vacuum sealed refrigerated sandwiches with very cheap versions of the ingredients. And the bread? Its sealed inside a vacuum and in the fridge where the trapped moisture condenses inside and soaks into the bread. OBJECTIVELY NO ONE LIKES TO EAT WET ASS BREAD.
The deal is good. The sandwiches are objectively bad cheap sandwiches.
