Japan has Isekai, Korea has Regression and Dungeons, and China has Cultivation, and all three of them have Systems and Trashy Harems.
My favorite slop to read xD
Regression Manwha typically aren't that bad in the Harem department purely because as the MC regresses he already has one girl he loves and tries to be with/protect again.
@@Rob.N.Yeah, regression kinda trying to do the apposite of isekai. having a chad instead of introvert loser, having alpha female instead of cutesy moe girl and having specific love interest instead of full blow harem. Maybe korea love power fantasy trash in isekai but hate the loser aspect of it.
Chinese cultivation stories make my brain hurt more and more everytime I read them. Isekai and regression at the very least have alot of good series, cultivation on the other hand follow the same story beat, the same MC, the same events over and over again and span it sometime to over 1000 chapters. The other genre in Chinese stories are fun though.
@@Mutualititve There is only one cultivation(Manwha/Manhua?) that I've read that I actually enjoyed thoroughly and that is Apotheosis. Too bad it developed a harem and I had to drop it. I absolutely DESPISE harems. Bud has THREE WIVES 🤬!!! Luozheng I miss you so much, but you couldn't just say no!! You already had a wife and kid. *Sigh* it's been years since I've dropped it, still miss it from time to time.

Orv is one of The Holy Trinity of novels, it's beloved for a reason, it starts off as a dystopian power up but as the story progresses you get to see a more complicated narrative and the mystery of what is to come. One of these mysteries being who is the author of the novel that Kim Dokja has read throughout most of his life and that now has become his reality. And in his journey to the end of the story will he find what he was looking for? Will he make it to the end with his companions? Will he finally get to see his beloved regressor find happiness?

Omniscient reader viewpoint! I love that series so much it’s such a beautiful story. You should read it I truly recommend it. One of the best things I ever read
can vouch for it, definitely very well written and deserves all that it gets
What wasn't mentioned in Gigguk's sumary is that TWA isn't just a trashy novel but it's hell bent on tragedy. KDJ's goal is to reach the ending of the story but sparing the MC the 3k+ chapters of hell he has to go through to survive. Because, on top of the story being overall sad, the final chapter is just a promise to whoever has read up to that point that they are able to survive.
I read the webnovel, the ending is so insanely good omldhisuwgwwuquga
Probably the best novel and one of the best story I have ever read
absolutely. ive loved this series since i first discovered it in highschool 3 years ago, its helped me through a lot. probably my personal favorite work of fiction.
It's ironic how Gigguk calls omniscient readers viewpoint as a squid like story, because at one point being a squid like story is one of the important key points of the story lmao
genuinely, the most random shit occurs in that novel, and i love every bit of it.
@@ayatoculus are u sure about that? (refers to the kkomas and dumpling)
Hehe, “squid” and he doesn’t even know yet. Love it
I remember the protagonist eating dirt because the squid said so. Good times.
rip squidja, you were truly the moment
Here’s something to sell ya’ll.
ORV is about elaborating on the relationships between the readers, the story, and the author.
Its beyond the “trash”, a theme starts to form and a question began to be presented
For the people or the stories that you care about, what are you willing to do for them?
Stats becomes almost irrelevant as the new power system takes place. That being: Each of their experiences. Each new story builds up on their strength as a whole, and makes them all stronger. In the end, its not about just surviving anymore, but changing the impossible itself, by using all of what we experienced as proof that its possible.
Finally, the final trick of the story is that it blurs the 4th wall and YOU become a part of the universe itself.
Give it a shot, if ya’ll haven’t yet. Check the novel out too, its great and already finished.

Omniscient Readers Viewpoint is even better then what he said, he didn't even get into the constellation system based on real life religions and historical figures that act like the audience inside the story, can't wait for it to get an anime adaptation, really hope it doesn't get messed up
Honestly that's as Gon said very meta you have those in multiple manhwa (leveling eith the gods, some stuff with constellation in title etc), novels etc. It's just there to add more layers.
It's getting a live action which...idk about how good that's going to be
@@chichichichichichiOwO cast is already disappointing, seems like a money grab tbh
The Fantasy of a Stepmother is a GOAT shoujo story tho.
aka A Stepmother's Marchen. It is a legitimate contender for one of the best composed series I've read. The characters are interwoven and their impact and view on the setting shifts rapidly with the events she alters. It's more character-driven than most. The official printed releases are quite good too, reframed into manga panels instead of a webtoon.
The female-oriented series of the regression genre are being too easily dismissed, by trying to laugh these off on the whole. Besides Stepmother's Marchen, the three are really missing out on some great revenge-thrillers, which are better than the male-led power fantasies in the genre.
I will die on that hill that is A Stepmother's Marchen. I cried re reading it everytime.

ORV is like the hidden boss of the manhwa world.
You'll think you've seen the final boss (Solo Leveleing) until you meet ORV and realise just how foolish you've been.
If you rate Solo Leveling a 6/10 then ORV is like a 11/10. Leagues above. And that's just a fact.
You may think me crazy and a dickrider, but time will pass and you'll understand, dear reader
If you like ORV try the Lord of the Mysteries novel series. While I don’t think the writing level is on the same page emotionally, the world building is a master class and the protagonist is really fun to follower well.

Isekai is a genre , it doesn't make or break a series it's all about The writing
For example I've been reading the greatest estate developer manhwa and not only is it one of the best Isekai I ever read but one of the best series I've read in a while
It's just oversaturated. So chances are if you're picking them at complete random, it's not gonna be good
@@Ash_Wen-li if you pick any show to watch at complete random you probably won't like it. I'm honestly not sure what your point is here.
Isekai oversaturating anime means the chances are even greater. I'd much rather the industry focus resources on quality than pumping out a large amount of cheap shows for easy profits. But obviously it's not that simple
cool rec ima check it out
@@Ash_Wen-li I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. Many of the first isekai weren't excatly the apex of the genre, and even uf you have 5 or 6 options to pick at random, if all are mediocre, there's a 100% what you watch will be mediocre.
Omniscient reader's viewpoint has great story and characters. I love the relationship between the main character and the main character of the story he was reading
I cant even begin to explain the ORV verse because all its aspects, the characters, the real people, the constellations, the power systems, the games, YOU as a reader, have been woven together so well. ORV works because of its characters and its main mystery being interesting which alot of the other regression manhwas lack
"Father, I don't want this Marriage" is actually really good. It had parts in which I just couldn't stop laughing. But I would call that more of a shojo genre. While Japanese Manga are quite text heavy (the medium is focused on books) - Korean manhwa is more on the (colorful) visual side of things (because they are meant to be read online). And in both you see a different culture.
I just finished reading it!! The Dad is basically the second ML (but not the love interest 😂)
OMNISCIENT READER MENTIONED!!!!
What really makes it standout imo aside from everything garnt said is that its a very character driven story that takes the time to flesh them out in natural ways that just endears you to these people.
My favorite manhua is "I'm really not the demon God's lackey" it's about an ordinary bookshop keeper who was Isekaid into another world with eldritch degrees of magic. He doesn't know about this, and the books that he sells are scriptures of cosmic rituals in the reader's eyes. His presence terrifies any person that approaches his shop, and through a series of misunderstandings, he "allegedly" manipulates the entire underground. He still doesn't know anything, and i like it because it contains Lovecraftian levels of comedic Horror
Mr. Lin supremacy!
Mr. Lin FTW 😂😂
As someone who's read the webnovel further than where the comic is at... there a shitload more than that and imo it kind of goes to shit eventually.
It is really fun to read

How to Use a Returner ( Regressors Instruction Manual) the one in the thumbnail is a goated series, dont quite like the manhwa art but the novel is on another level, especially the mc and his antics

Yeah, really good.
GOATED
"The fantasie of a stepmother" or "a step mother's marchen" made me cry so much. I noticed that a lot of these titles on the list were villainess/josei manhwas which I prefer over the power fantasy regression manhwas. Instead of fighting with swords, it's fighting with words... which I like.
I had the same experience with Villaines Are Destined to Die/Death Is the Only Ending for the Villainess
yess and it’s much more interesting. the way the women manipulate the aristocracy to get what they want and play mind games, rather than just fighting physically all the time.
7:03 This is definitely a squid-like story....
If you know you know.
kim dokja is "just like me fr" fr .. if you know you know...

I do indeed know.
Solo levelling is considered good because it was a lot of western audiences first experience with a story that actually utilizes the “gamer” aspects of the story and keeps it “gamer” throughout the vast majority of it. In a way it’s the first portion of sword art online but it stays that way. The levelling up and stats and being a class and all that stuff is integrated into the story the entire way through more or less even if the power scaling gets insane (much like it would in a game).
It’s definitely not groundbreaking in a sense that it should be critically acclaimed or anything but it does what I described very well and if that clicks with the reader then they’ll enjoy it quite a bit.
I went in knowing it was gonna mostly be action driven, like you said nothing groundbreaking but I thought the action was good, it’s no Jujutsu Kaisen but I didnt think it needed to be, especially for a season one of a show based on Korean source material, I feel like Japanese companies would be less willing to take a risk on solo leveling vs something like JJK or Frieren
@@dirtydirtyshisno7284 the manhua is also pretty slow to pick up as well so I’m hoping the show gets better over time. It’s a fun story for sure though.
It's so sad it got all the traction when Shangri-la Frontier aired at the same season and absolutely dwarfed SL in all possible levels except the OST.
It's not just the west, it's just manhwa in general. It's one of the first (not the first) to popularize the combination of dungeon/hunter + system trope. When I first read it, I also didnt get why people rate, but after a while, it grew on me. Solo leveling manhwa just knows how to hype the readers. They really know their target audience.
@@Xynic48 I wasn’t sure if that was the case so I didn’t want to claim as much, I just knew it was the first big one over here.
i am in the middle of reading (the light novel) of omniscient readers viewpoint and when i say it gets good... it gets GOOD. I can't wait until the manhwa is finished and i realllly hope it ends up getting an anime!!
Let me just say: prepare some tissues
fr I just finished chapter 372 and it was amazing (im not ok)
It's getting a drama adaption rn, hopefully the drama adaption is good. Not sure how long we gotta wait for an anime adaption.
I would really recommend Return of the Blossoming Blade, the story of a sword saint from the Mount Hua Sect that reincarnates into the future, but encounters that the sect has fallen to ruin, so he decides to restore it as a disciple. Really comedic, beautiful art and goofy faces. I also feel that it has a bit of an old school manga vibe.
On the total opposite side, A Man's Man is also great, but maybe more difficult to read for some. It's mainly about company politics, and has a lot of themes of technology, since all the story that i've read so far happens in the equivalent of Samsung of its world.
YES!! all time fac
Omg was waiting for someone to speak on Return of the Blossoming Blade!! Urghhh I can’t get enough of the story and the characters are so hilariously funny with their dynamic especially Cheong Myung. I’m still hoping we’ll get some type of animation for this manwha, and not a drama series, like the unfortunate ORV (but I guess we’ll have to see how the live action turns out)
YESSS
I think one of the big points of interest for ORV that Garnt misses in his explanation, is that Dokja is fairly confident that he only exists in the current timeline, which is the 3rd timeline in the original story.
We don’t know what happens to a world after the “protagonist” regresses, it could be erased, or it could continue on without the strongest human, regardless he’s fucked if the original hero dies.
However, we do know that Dokja probably won’t exist in other timelines since the first and second weren’t changed from the novel.
The fact that it’s the 3rd timeline is then a big deal, because in regression stories the 1st regression is typically either confusing or doesn’t let the hero know if it’s a 1 time use, but the 2nd regression teaches the hero that they can keep doing this, that they can afford to die.
So Dokja is using his understanding of the characters and the story not just to get close to people, get cool loot, and build a strong team. He has to do this while making sure the regressor never feels like he’s be better off trying again, even though this is coming off the back of a particularly depressing 2nd timeline.
It’s real good stuff.
I really recommend reading ORV, especially if you are a reader and a fan of a media. The webnovel is truly amazing as well since it is a personal love letter for a reader after all.
it’s wild hearing you lot talk about manhwas and getting into them cause i’ve been addicted for so long, orv goes hard
Fr we addicters have been waiting
If Garnt is down for reading chinese light novels, there are really some bangers out there. My fav one of them is Lord of mysteries, which is also getting an anime/donghua adaptation in 2025. It's an Isekai with mystery (Duh.) and a little bit of horror mixed into it, plus the world building is just chef's kiss with a damn good story and a unique power system. The MC doesn't get op in like 0.5 chapters of reading so that's a plus point too. To those who are tired of unnecessary romance in the story, the story does not even have a speck of romance.
Well, I can't further explain the story without dwelving into spoiler territory so if you are interested from my description, please go and do check out the novel. The first book is completed with 1300+ chapters and the second book is ongoing I think at around 600+ chapters as of right now.

Chinese novels absolutely slaps, Tian Guan Ci Fu character and backstory is insane even if it does have romance that i skipped some parts, but the world building and philosophy is just peak. But i have to say donghua adaptation usually fails its novel counterpart.

Fantasies of a Stepmother is not like a manga at all lol. The term is fantasies but it’s more of memories from her regression. What separates it from other bad regression stoies is she gains ptsd from her death after her regression. Art is FRENCH KISS. It’s so so beautiful to look at.
Omniscient reader viewpoint, Trash of the Count's Family, and the S-classes that I raised are all Korean novels and webtoons that are so good and definitely recommend! The character interactions, relationships, and progression of the stories are just so addictive!
ORV is such a heartfelt story. It’s one of those series that nests itself deep into your heart and makes you enjoy stories and fiction like you’ve just discovered it for the first time
Garnt's video's make you think he's hopping from one trash can to another but in reality he is expanding his trash-topia, can't wait for him to bring more into the GU(Garbage Union).
now i know why he like star rail so much, he's literally just the trailblazer.
Returning with Absolutely Nothing (aka Worthless Regression) is beyond fire, absolutely adore it.
It's one of my favorite regression stories, all because the protagonist is NOT made overpowered by simply breathing.
To give a quick synopsis, the main character is a talentless guy who stumbles upon a stone that takes him back in time. He gets nothing else, no blessing or inexplicable power/talent boost, he's still the same talentless guy as before. From there, the story focuses on him crawling his way up in power, working harder than everyone else around him for a fraction of their strength.
Basically, take the classic "Prodigy of Effort" backstory seen in characters like Rock Lee, than turn it into the main focus of the story- that agonizingly slow climb to the top, occasionally propelled by good fortune, above average but ALWAYS lagging behind the best.
Ive only read like 25 ch of it 2 years ago (letting it marinate). It's honestly one of the best (top 10)regression manhwas i read out of like 50-100. But most of them are trash anyway.
God I'm still waiting on it the next season of that one, thank you for reminding me
@@Hawwwluchawhen is the second season ?
I've finally figured out a way to explain Omniscient Reader Viewpoint for people curious, taken me ages to put it into words. It's not a perfect summary, but this is just what I think of it.
There's no romance, it's got plenty of action in it as it's a death game style, but it focuses very heavily on maintaining the bonds the mc has with people, but also how he makes himself and others suffer by constantly risking his life so everyone can survive and reach a happy ending, but he can't stop, because there's no way for even a single person to be happy without sacrifice, so he'll always choose himself.
It can be hard to notice it as it's rarely super obvious. People aren't bawling their eyes out all the time, it's mostly internally psychological pain, but after reading so much of it, I think they portrayed it really well.
The webtoon hasn't gotten far enough to truly show this yet imo, but in the webnovel, and still some parts of the webtoon, you can notice it.
*Also, genuinely, I think it has the most emotional ending out of any story I've ever watched or read.*
imo, people should read the webnovel first, then if they find it too boring, do webtoon and then come back to it, or do webtoon first and then do webnovel to catch up on what webtoon doesn't have yet.
I have to Recommend to y’all “Trash Of the count family”. It’s about Rok Soo reincarnating into a world of a novel he read (if I remember correctly). His number 1 goal is to just live in peace (We actually don’t know about his past life for a long time but we get why it’s his goal at some point.) He gets reincarnated into a little antagonist named Cale that got killed by the main character. Thanks to his knowledge about the people and the big events to come, he’ll try to live as lazily as possible (it’s actually an unreliable point of view because even tho he says he doesn’t care about this person or this event, his actions show us the opposite). Anyway it’s one of my favorite manhwa (and the art style is GORGEOUS)
The only thing Garnt forgot to explain was that the "Protagonist" that Kim Dokja meets is the regressor, meaning there is a lot more things he would have to be worried about
lol how wasn't sss class suicide hunter not on the top spot for that random list?
Agreed. It's easily the best manwha of the "seinen" genre. Although it's technically not regression in the classical sense so maybe that's why it wasn't included.
IKR????
TRUE
Father I don’t want this marriage made me absolutely sob
It was so good!!
Tearmoon Empire (which Garnt skipped!... groan) would be a fun twist on a regression story. (likewise 7th time loop, and if you are into it, Dr Elise; regression is just the plot device, the focus is the protagonist's motivations and the knowledge and skills gained in the other paths to avoid a bad end, interestingly all the protagonists in these regressions are all women)
Garnt said he likes isekai but he's too much of a generic trashy isekai consumer to try the variants in villainess genre. I swear, if Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami (Iris) or Eris no Seihai (Scarlet) got anime adaptation, he will finally see the peak of it
The Villainess Turns the Hourglass is genuinely good. It's not very action heavy, just the protag being smart and using her wits to survive in noble society. And the art is great.
YES!
One thing Garnt didn't mention is the characters are being streamed and the audience is basically historical and mythical figures.

@@soaringturtle2388 Fine, I *personally* think it's fire. Better?
What's the plot?
@@soaringturtle2388you're right, but it's so absurd in edginess that it wraps around to being pretty funny
@@soaringturtle2388 that's pretty much every manhwa out there man... Even the most celebrated ones like Solo Leveling or Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint are a bunch of 14 edgelord fantasy. But at least, FFF actually tends to be self aware and is done in a comical way to the point it's coming across as a parody.
A Wonderful New World, the only manhwa I read regularly.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Lolol😂😂😂 that one is good, I love the milf
That's a different kind of manhwa.
Regressors instruction manual is actually so peak
TRUE
I thought he was going to say lots of webtoons have royalty drama and scandal from emperor, empress, kings, queens, to duchess, dukes, and any monarch role in between. That genere is wild, especially paired with the regression trope.
ORV MENTIONED!!!!!!! i f-ing love that series it's so good. i would recommend this to everybody i know and their grandmother.
There's a Darksouls inspired Regression novel called Pyresouls. It's actually pretty good.
You sold me. I'll read it.
Shadow slave also seems to be dark souls inspired lol a lot of the creatures and characters
I'm currently reading "I am the Fated Villain." I like the pov switch to the villain. And the greatest estate developer, truck kun is working overtime.
ORV is Peak manhwa such a good series both novel and comic, also fantasie of a step mother is actually an incredible read lol the writing, character development is done so well
You guys should read "My Life as a Loser". It's a reversion, where a former bully reverts into his childhood victims body.
"Dice" it's a good death game/power nightmare.
Regressors instructions Manual is soo good (the manwha in the thumbnail
I haven't read it in over a year. The comedic popculture references are so great. It's one of the funniest manhwa out there with greatest estate developer and return of the mad demon.
@@Bratanity its got 2 things going for it, the manwha adaptation is extremely funny but the actual novel is also one of the best super dark Korean web novels I've read. The MC is peak
Novel feels better for me, manwha feels a bit downgraded imo.
Omniscient Readers is being made into a kdrama film with an all star cast. Should be pretty crazy
Mount Hua and Murim Login are really really fun reads to. Amazing art and environments as well.
Lord of the Mysteries will absolutely blow these guys minds.
can't wait to see their reaction :D
Just wait till garnt finds out about the fact that people ship Kim Dokja and Sung Jinwo 💀
Regressor's Instruction Manual mentioned on thumbnail!!!!!!!!!
Swordmaster's Youngest Son I also find really good for a regression story. He knows the ins and outs of his family bit but his "first life" portion was not nearly as fleshed out as some of these others. The character dynamics, fights, and worldbuilding are all fantastic
I shall master this family is actually pretty good though 👌
Grant never left isekai....... He just switched into a different addiction with the same quality as any isekai....... 😅😅😅😅😅😅
How to use a returner is really damn good
How to Use a Returner is hilarious and a good read! If you’re use to reading regression stories, this one has a bit more of a refreshing twist, in the way that it’s not actually told from the regressor’s point of view!
There is going to be a Korean film based on omniscient reader with all famous actors
supposedly an anime as well. allegedly ufotable is attached (will find a source later)
omniscient readers viewpoint is dope and solo leveling is cool af and same writing team ironically.
Not same writing team, but same art studio.
As a person who has dedicated too much time into reading all sorts of action manga/manhwa/manhua, I am so happy that someone is talking about these genres. The quest for these types of comics has actually led me to discover many mainstream mangas before they became mainstream (for example: JJK, Spy x Family, and the ones on the rise in the future: Sakamoto Days, Kagurabachi).
pretty sure Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint was announced to get an anime
ORV MENTIONED 🥰 it needs an anime PLEASE it’s so good ❤
The thing about ORV is that what you're seeing right now in the webtoon is just the tip of the ice berg. Later on, everything will be much more philosophical in a sense that you'd think the action is just a front.
Omniscient Reader is easily my favorite piece of written media. It made me think about a person’s relationship to stories, and made me realize how wildly important that relationship is. It started out as good fun, and ended as a something I genuinely felt lucky to experience
Killer Peter is goated. It’s like semi regression. Instead of traveling back in time, the protagonist gets de-aged from 60 to his youth and cured from his cancer while retaining all of his combat experience and abilities
Its not a semi regression, it's more of an age regression thing
"The beginning after the end" is also a top tier story thats worth a read! Technically an Isekai but by far it is the best in its class, period.
TCF and ORV is def my top 2 and A stepmother marchen is beautiful and the story really either makes my heart flutter or shatter into 24
Oh wow they used Regressor Instruction Manual in the thumbnail nice
right?
If somebody wants to check out an actually good webtoon: The Boxer is great. Not reincarnation trash, good art, occasional music. No pandering, straightforward and simple story, with complex characters.
Sorry, but that potrayed Manhwa or reincarnation/regression real, ly badly imo. I really like the genres tho, so I might be very biased.
The potraying of ORV was bad by both Webtton and Garnt and really didnt help. Also wouldnt call it an actual regression Manhwa considering Dokja never regressing
The Top 25 list was crap too, I personally only actaully read 6 of them
Highly recommend Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint. I saw people say this back when I haven't read it and tbh, I wasn't down on reading the webtoon, but eventually, I read it and IT IS SO GOOD. I'm still midway reading the novel rn and goddamn every time it gets me at the edge of my seat. It's unique in its own way and I absolutely love all the characters. They get to flesh out their stories so well.
Japan - Isekai (go to a different world, usually fantasy-esque, MC is often nerdy or an outsider in their original world, but those nerdy skills make them overpowered in the new world, and they usually end up with a harem)
Korea - Regression (go back to one's past with future memories/experiences/skills, MC's main purpose is to fix their past mistakes and triumph over their antagonists)
China - Transmigration (go into the world of a book, specifically one that the MC has read beforehand, and usually becomes a side character (that dies early in the book), an underdog character (that is suffering from abuse), or a villain (who will die by the book protagonist's hands in the future), MC's main goal is to change their circumstances to something better and not suffer/die)
All 3 countries have stories in all 3 "genres," but if you're asking what's the hallmark of each country, then I think this is the list.
Classic Isekai MCs usually start off wimpy and become strong.
Classic Regression MCs are usually smart and resourceful.
Classic Transmigration MCs are a mixed bag, some use their knowledge of the book to their advantage, while some still mess things up but it ends up being okay because they somehow changed the genre of the book with their actions (usually just by being nice(r) to the protagonist of the book).
So they are South Korea's isekai genre.
Greatest real estate developer?
nah, what garnt basically implies is that Regression is Manhwa's cancerous genre their over-saturated trashy trend like Isekai is to JP
it's not Isekai = Regression they're not the same
Manhwa>>Manga (Mainly cause it's all colored)
actual brainrot
@@vould7233 I like what I like 🤷🏼♂️
I owe all my thanks to ReLIFE for introducing to me to webcomics in general, not just manhwas. The mobile friendly format, the coloured pages -- while it may not be detailed as traditional manga usually do, still is much nicer to look at.
The real reason for sure is the weekly or biweekly release compared to being monthly.
I prefer anime because I like sound.
To me they all look way to similar. And the backgrounds are bland.
I don't care if it doesn't have color as long it has a creative art style. Also the lack of colour is it's own style.
Omg, Garnt! YES! ORV GANG!!!!!! Have you seen the official art for the novel??? It was god like! Fantasie of a Stepmother is great! As well as Trash of the Count's Family, The Greatest Estate Developer, SSS Class Suicide Hunter, Legend of the Northern Blade (not a regression story) and Mercenary Enrollment!!!
my most favorite recent find is 'Suupaa no Ura de Yani Suu Hanashi' or 'A Story About Smoking At The Back Of The Supermarket'. Kinda chill.
I know we're talking about manhwas but orv and lord of the mysteries novels are so fucking good (and lout of count's family is great too but I just finished the first book so I think its bias to praise it HAHAGDHAGSD)
ORV has great characters and systems in play, of course there's dokja (i'll never get over the word play of his name) and how he actually handles all the scenarios thrown to him by the star stream and the constellations. It's scary to touch it at first since there is so much to actually 'learn' but the authors made a great job incorporating the needed information without info dumping (but I had to look up some mythos and historical names since I wasn't that well aware of some constellations and scenarios like the hwarangs and the korean peninsula constellations)
I think i'm somewhat a nerd or geek since I really liked the historical aspects they incorporated with the system. The greek gods, fucking buddha, there were movies on the theatre level, and more! If you're a wide reader or even a huge consumer of media then you'll definitely enjoy ORV.

The plot twists will fuck you up, I involuntary cried when it was revealed and was so frustrated that I almost threw my phone BUT it made sense since it was about why the regression of the protagonist even started on the first place. Another thing about this is it covers almost every plothole and the authors' answer to that are crazy. (Lemme just leave these terms 51/49, 999, and of course LHK)
0:08 Glorious hidden gem called SSS Class Suicide Hunter
