5:42 it's actually common in Middle Eastern flights for falcons to be on board. They even have their own passports! That's because falcons are status symbols to men in the Middle East and they bring them everywhere, including on commercial flights. The birds are with their small, adorable hoods that keep them calm, are perched on their owner's hands throughout the flight. They are easy to train, as they are extremely intelligent creatures, so they are very well behaved in said flights and are closely bonded to their handlers by that time making them peaceful flight seatmates.

I am Japanese and don't understand English, but perhaps his reason for coming to Japan is for his privacy and a temporary break from life. I think he can go out without hesitation in Japan where he is not so well known.

I have a theory about the Japanese leisure activities vs the Anglosphere. There's no doubt that the British also works hard, but their work culture is a little more reasonable. Japan has such kick ass entertainment at night, whether it's chilling with amazing coffee, wine, tea, sitting around the fire of Izakaya that's grilling meat on a stick, or going partying, dancing in strange clubs, or having a sit at the host club. In comparison, the U.K., Canada, Australia and so on, most of night entertainment involves drinking from one pub to next. I think the reason for such disparity is that in Japan, they have such crazy work culture that when it's time to unwind, they go hard. Their entertainment needs to compensate for their work culture. Meanwhile, if your work culture is good, then there's no need for such crazy forms of entertainment.
Well... Also because what people think about when they think of Japan is literally just Tokyo. Like you would have the same view of Germany if all you knew was Berlin.

As he mentioned, Felix is not talking about night life in Japan since he needs take of his dogs evening. Also, I don’t think Japanese night life is “crazy” like you say. I lived both countries and it’s pretty much the same. Just Japan has more variety when it comes to food.
