Man I know some Finnish history but this is my first time really hearing the language as an American and it sounds so amazing 😁
I understand that as a Finn you become proud and feel patriotism, you have every right to do that. What brave heroes who defended your country. Skål brördrar och systrar, hälsningar från Sverige.
I said it last time and I say it again - you need to listen to Sabaton performing in Swedish "En livstid i krig" - live in Gothenburg.
I noted it then and so I do now! xx
@@annavaskelainen okay. Then my work here is done, and I will relax, waiting for it to happen. 😀
I highly recommend reacting to “Soldier of Three Armies” from Sabaton, it is about Lauri Törni from Finland. An amazing song and great story and person to learn more about
One of my favorites! Great song!
I will have to visit him in Arlington sometime soon. Hell of a warrior.
Next stop: White Death if you wanna continue on the Finland related songs. Great analysis as per usual! Especially the machine gun reference haha.
I'm so down with this suggestion and I see it has gotten a lot of votes already! xx
Its super fun to see your reactions to Sabaton! Your knowledge and love for music makes it a lot more interesting. I can suggest Sabaton - Soldier of 3 armies (Another Finland related song) or Sabaton - Bismarck. Greetings from Sweden.
Thank you so much for this comment! 🥰
If you want hold back tears, I suggest 1916 Sabaton. Another song that is really entertaining is "No Bullets Fly." Do the Animated version and it really tells an amazing tale that meshes into a wonderful song.
This will be my first time hearing, I know a lot about Finnish history, but I don't know what to expect. 😏👍🇫🇮
No doubt an emotional review incoming! Thank you Anna! Love & Light! 🙏🙏
Sort of! Love and light right back at ya! ❤️
Talvisota, it happened from December 1939 till March 1940, we hardly learn from history, how sad we are in the middle of it still today.
Yeheey! We're very happy that you're back🙌💛🙌
Don't know if I like this song, especially the lyrics. Hearing this song feels like...there's no such thing for the pursuit of happiness but seeing you...there's a discovery of joy.
Great reaction to an important group. They are very unique in the way they tell the story and yet make a strong rock song.
Welcome back, Anna.
Missed you.
👍👍👍🇸🇪😎💕
❤️ glad to be back!
It's so good see you back on track. Great analysis, by the way.
Great anthem! Great job Anna. Thank you for sharing the back story on that song as well as the history lesson. Stay safe and warm.
Now that is a very powerful song. Another great review Mike from Oregon
🙂 It's snowing here too. ❄️ Joakim sings like a warrior. So nice to see you smiling and basking in the pride of Finland. 🇫🇮 Sabaton is my history professor. I always love your analysis Anna. You disect the entire song, not just the vocals. 🤘
I just adore your videos! A big hug from Brazil. ❤
I wanted to be here for the premier but I miss it. 😢 This was still a joy watching 'with' you even though I wasn't there live. I got chills a couple times watching you get all proud and patriotic!! I knew this would be a good one!! I pray all is going well with you. ...and with Bala too!! 🤍💙
Looking forward to your reaction about this song!
Hope you liked it! xx
This is inspiring music and a true tribute to the heroes of 1940! And as always I love your reactions and videos. Please stay safe and warm.
I really like this song because it is so energetic and straight forward
Good choice, I like both of their songs you have reviewed. Thank you, Anna, for your time and for sharing your knowledge. Stay warm and have some hot soup.
I didnt think Sabaton would go well with you Anna, but i was wrong :) what a pleasant surprise... looking forward to see more Sabaton here on the channel... love how you apreciate the raw emotion in their songs xx
Tack för en bra sida. MostaLainen
Story-tellers they are and with great feeling for adequate composition details. Musicianship is great and Joakim's voice fits perfectly to the song(s) - IMO. Also I think he could be a great guy for an Anna-Interview, guess would be most interesting and chemistry will fit as well (remember Yannis). Kiitos Anna 👋🤘👍🙏
Excellent reaction and analysis. And as always, a complete history lesson with a great metal song. Sabaton certainly has the ability to hit all the emotional buttons, making you enormously proud of a country that is not yours. Thoroughly enjoyed that, good luck with the blizzard (ours was two days ago). Stay safe, stay warm, keep rocking.
Thanks Alan!
We got a lot of snow but it is starting to look like the sun is slooowly melting it all away even though it is not yet looking like spring here at all! 😂😂
Hope I get here on time.
😊
I love the Raskasta Joulua song "1939", too. It's also about the Winter War, from the perspective of a Finnish soldier writing home to his family. It's really touching, especially live. 🇫🇮💙🤍
There's also a great finnish movie called "Talvisota" from 1986!
This song, along side with Panzerkampf, Ghost Division and The Price of a Mile, are my album favorites.
Great reaction
Hi Anna - Great reaction. I could see in your eyes that this hit your Finnish homeland heart. I really hope you and your pup is feeling better now?
Things are looking better yes!
Nice video again! 🥰
I hope you are doing well!
Hey Anna! You definately look warm and cozy there alright ! xD Great reaction as always and keep up the nice work.
Cyber hugs again from northern Germany!
really love to listen to you speaking in finnish.
I love your responses! I know practically nothing about music, but your comments make me understand part of why the music is so moving and energic.
thank you!
Awww this comment made me so happy! 🥰
@@annavaskelainen I am glad it made you happy! Occasionally, I enjoy learning. You talked and explained without lecturing. So refreshing. thank you!
Kiitos Anna!
it gives me goosebumps!!!!
Bravo!
You looks so gorgeous guman, 🌹❤️👍🇵🇭
This is first song I heard from Sabaton and I love the power of it but I would like to recommend next Sabaton song for you ´no bullets fly´ and definitely animated story version
This was great to watch and I really recommend reacting to more Sabaton songs in the future.
If your really into them as well I heavily recommend reacting to history videos for each song of their you react to on their history channel called Sabaton History.
Regards from your Swedish neighbors. :)

Here’s their history channel.
white death,soldier of 3 armies...esimerkiksi.....🇫🇮🤘👍😎❤️
Hyvä idea!
Mi piace tanto quando passi dalla tua lingua all'inglese e viceversa, mi piace come commenti i video e mi fai impazzire per la tua Bellezza 🌹Grazie
If you enjoy sabaton I’d love to see you react to more of it! They have many great songs.
Anna, how about a Bala update? Hope you and both pups are doing well... BIG HUGS for all as usual! 💖
Kaunis mieli, Annan!
With you
Good reaction! Try out Soldier of 3 armies as well, the story of Lauri Allan Törni, if you want to keep on the Finnish path.
sabaton is my fav
You should react to sabatons Soldier Of Heaven. That song really brings shivers down my spine, one of my favorite songs from them.
Talko!!
Finnish is such a beautiful language (difficult to learn too)
I've heard it's difficult for foreingers! 😅
@@annavaskelainen Sometimes it feels it's too difficult for us Finns too😅 (especially when you are writing in school)
Kiitos! Oli mielenkiintoista kuulla sun mielipide tästä laulusta. Oli myös mielenkiintoista kuulla suomalaisen näkökulma tästä laulusta. ❤
Ihana kuulla Tuuli! ❤️
I can’t imagine the demands placed on that generation. Interesting the bass not only illustrated in the mind the march forward, it also reflected the sounds of heavy artillery, whilst the snare seemed small gunfire. Really interesting. I like the breakdown, the vocals too reflected determination.
You can read the telephone book for me, I’d listen all day!
We love the fins in Sweden. Dear neighbour. I would def go to war for Finland. Cute girl. Finnish is a cool language man. It's very different to Scandinanian languages, but I like the sound of it. Peeeece, from Östergötland.
Hyvä laulu!
You should be react to "white death" by them also and is about to another finnish hero simo hayha the most deadly sniper of all the time!. Great reaction Anna as always cheers!
Noted! Simo Häyhä is a LEGEND.
Since Sabaton is a iconic band with a very special voice of the singer Joakim you should really check out the "You raise me up - one octave chalenge" by the guitarist Tommy Johansson.
Finland is our brother and sister! We have fought and died together, for 100,s of years! Russia 🇷🇺 is Finlands 🇫🇮 and Swedens 🇸🇪 enemy number (1)
whoa !!! it reminds me of your immortal hero, the great Simo Hayha....
Apparently they have a song about him too, I should react to that next!
I'm Swedish and is engegade to marry my partner whos Mom and Dad (Her dad, ny Fathger in law died of cancer 2 years ago) and sincemy fiancé and Mother -in-law knows that I love history told me what my GFs grandpa went thru durting Talvisota.
He stepped on a bouncing mine that blew his leg away at the end of the war, but he survived and was decorated for his courage and for losing his leg ofc.
It doesn't matter how many books or documnentaries youi read and watch, when you hear the stories from the front at the Mannerheim-linja! How they would take them out with the Motti tactic.
Kiitos paljon for doing this video, and esp. in Finnish!
You just earned a subscriber!
Keep thius up!
❤️
Roooooouuuuuuutsalaainen..!!! Sweden !! :D
I think they also have a song about "The White Death" another Finish hero.
You should react to Sabaton - White death. Banger song
NOTED.
Check out White Death, also. Story of a fantastic Finnish sniper.
I should do that next!
I would love to see what you think of White Death, based on this reaction
If you want another Sabaton song about Finland, check out "White Death" about Finnish hero, Simo Hayha. That one's a banger!
There was a Finnish hero that fought in ww2. You should do a reaction of it. I know it’s not your normal stuff but still very cool. Lauri Törni
you could also react to the soldier of the three armies
You should check out White Death by Sabaton
Could you please react to HammerFall - Hammer of Dawn, they are from Sweden with one of the best singers in metal
I'm assuming the start time indicated is valid for each viewer's time zone ? I'm in CST, and looking forward !
yes!
Please react to the MTV Unplugged version of "Black" by Pearl Jam. Thanks!
Not their best song in my opinion, but they tell important stories. As they do with this one ❄
Yes!
Agreed, the music & lyrics didn't seem to match up that well at the start, but became better resolved later. You could play the music on it's own though!
@@eze8970 Absolutely. Most of their songs anyway.
Totally agree. Production isn't that good and solos aren't that good compared their newer stuff. And yes not their best songs.
@@Finkele1 Yes, somehow this doesn't flow that well.
I arrived here after seeing a reaction to "Invincible" by Floor, a song about PTSD, made by a Russian NW fan, a man with a lot of common sense. He blocked the comments, understandable... I saw the link to your reaction, and it seemed appropriate to continue here. That's right, we tend to forget that our freedom had a price in human lives.
I'm glad I visited you, because that's how I found out that the blizzard makes your nose red and your eyes bright :)
🖤
Gabrieeel! ❤️
Right now the sun is out and I'm about to hit outdoors with my dogs but I couldn't help answering to this one last comment as I've been catching up with my comments all morning heheh!
Always, always a pleasure to see your comment. Have a great rest of your week, hope you are well! xx
Hail to all heros who's defending their country. They'll not be forgotten like Simo Hayha.
Greetings from Turkey also welcome to Nato.
Please do Angels And Airwaves
Kiitoksia Anna 😊. This was again well reacted and such a good choice.
Soon we will have also one on the heroes of Ukraine I think!
*_When the snow start speak Finnish even the Gods get's scared._* 💀

I'll add your vote to "White Death"!
Greetings to Hungary! xx
Hyvã laulu. 🖒🤘
Catchy anthem you say. Kokeileppa Defence of Moscowia. Ehkä tutun kuulloinen kitarariffi. Toivottavasti reagoit myös jossain vaiheessa kahteen muuhun Suomi- biisiin ( soldier of 3 armies, white death)
PLEASE . falling in reverse - watch the world burn. they new song. they were first in trending. insane video , insane skill, millions of views
Noted! Hope this one gets more votes! xx
Floor's husband in action? Hello Anna!!!!!! Missed you! ❤️
Missed you too! ❤️
I can easily imagine Nightwish doing this !
I'd love to hear them covering this!
Lisää Sabatonia! Näil on 2 muutakin suomi-biisiä: White Death ja Soldier of 3 Armies. Ja toki sata muuta bängeriä
Noted!
Any chance for the live performance En livsted i krig from Gothenburg?
Please do the song about Lauri Törni soldier of tree armies
The song isn’t bad, as others have said, it’s not their best, personally I don’t know what their best is, have heard most of their stuff…it’s similar enough, they all blend together, at least to me, not bad…but not really memorable, like early rock, or nightwish, or early heavy/power or death/black metal was…they are the rock/kinda metal of some kind variant of pop, in the background, it all sounds the same to others like them, or their own songs. So I generally don’t relisten to their stuff all that much if you heard one, you heard a tiny variation on all the others, in lyrics mainly, but all structured/performed roughly the same. Did love your reaction though, as always, cause it’s you, you could react to all of their songs, I’d still like and watch, because it’s you.
When are you getting on the Ren Reaction Ramp? Start with 'Hi Ren'
I know you already saw my latest vid ;)
@@annavaskelainen Yes I did and loved it.
@@annavaskelainen If you at some stage do Ren's 'losing it', I found this many Beasts/Monsters/Murderers that are mentioned/referenced.
1. Fee fee, fi fi, fo fo, fum - Giant from Jack & the Beanstalk
2. Scooby Doo - & Crew hunt Monsters
3. Ghost
4. Poltergeist
5. I’m a Demon
6. Morgan Freeman - imprisoned for murder in Shawshank Redemption.
7. Rag and Bone Man - known as the bone-grubber, bone-picker.
8. Macbeth - the protagonist is a monster due to the murders he committed.
9. A Werewolf out in the moonlight
10. A blood sucking parasite - Chupacabra Monster
11. Vampire
12. Venom - Marvel Universe
13. Pop one, pop two, drop three men - Squid Games Murders

15. Gorilla in the Jungle - King Kong
16. Bear in the Wood - Grizzly
17. Mordor Lord - Sauron
18. Nazgul - Dark Servants of Sauron

It's a upbeat Rap/EDM piece rather funny with a whole lot of other references, really highlights his skills with rhyme schemes & wordplay.
Tsekkaa joskus Till Lindemannin tuotantoa; Rammsteinia tai soolotuotantoaan, mut mielellään jotain muuta kuin Du Hast : D, Esim. Mein Herz Brennt ja Ohne Dich-biisien analysoinnille lämmin suositus : )
финский красивый язык
Hello, Anna) I don't remember if I aksed this earlier but, Swedes understands Finns and Norse or vice versa? By the way, Greeting from Ukraine!)
Finnish and Swedish are not related languages as Finnish belongs to Finno-Ugric language family! We understand some Estonian words and vice versa. Swedish, Danish and Norwegian are much more related for example!

Moi Anna!
Stone the Crows - yhtyeessä, (eläinrääkkäystä), jatkoi soolona.
MAGGIE BELL - WISHING WELL , bell-well rimmaa hyvin (bica kanavalla aika hyvä vinyylisoundi). Taitaa olla Free yhtyeen kappale alkujaan. En kinu reaktiota, en pane toki vastaankaan. Bandikin kjulostaa hyvältä, Jimmy Page on guitar.
Laitetaan listalle, toivottavasti MAGGIE saa lisää ääniä! 😊
In Flames tai The Halo Effect uusimpien lättyjen reaktioita odotellessa. Ei siis koko lättyä tartte :DDDD mut jotai biisejä
hi anna, apparently you were down for the past 2 months or so, to have some motivation, pls. watch and react on the song "phoenix" by morisette it is her original song. thanks.
Tää on hauska livenä, Suomen keikoilla sataa tekolunta tän aikana :D
