    Nice breakdown.
Seems like Sunline has pretty much all angles covered.
I used some Sniper for the 1st time for 4 days in a row throwing a chatterbait in 110 degree weather on the Colorado River last summer . . . sure, after 4 days it was pretty shot, but it was still very usable, and didn't lose any of its strength.
I didn't have any KVD Line & Lure with me at the time, ( I do carry it now) . . . but I bet the line would've been 100% had I been using it.
I boat flipped several bass over 4lbs. on that trip, and was able to wrestle a 6 out of the bushes as well.
    I'm sold.

Sunline and Seagar are the only two brands I will use and trust. I love them both for different applications.

I just use fc sniper for everything. However, I do have one rod with 25# flipping fc.

Tested a bunch of line manufacturers. Settled on sunline for fluorocarbon. I agree 18/20lb shooter for bottom and then 14/16lb sniper for moving. Two 660 yard spools and I’m good for the year ….. mono still fishing berkley XL, first line I ever used, no issues so why look elsewhere.

Any love for the sx1? I like it on my spinning reels.

SX1 is a standby for spinning. No problems. X-Plasma is smoother but AMZ is even smoother.

I love the 18 lb sniper for jig and worm fishing and 16 for chatterbait and spinner bait. 10 to 12 for jerkbait. I have tried Diawa, Yozuri ( which is pretty darn good, they don’t have 18 😡) and Seagar. I keep going back to sunline. Do not ever tie a Palomar knot with Flora carbon!
The junky US brands have big diameters.

What knot do you use with fluorocarbon? I've been a fan of improved clinch knots but it's a bit awkward with the heavier fluorocarbons (#15 and up).

A version of the double San Diego jam knot. I have never had a single problem with it. I use Palomar knot for braids

I can honestly say I never tried Sunline. I have to use up what I have in stock first, before buying some Sunline to try. Then again Christmas is coming soon.
