I got the wheels from a friend. He said they where purchased through Summit Racing. They are Douglas Blue Label series. I can look it up but I don't have time today.
That’s hot. I’m in the middle of converting my sons razor dune buggy into a gokart but I’m going to use a small predator engine. I already made two razor drifters with a 49cc pocket bike engine and their really fast.I like the way you hook it up.
@oscaradiel The tires and wheels were given to me. They are Douglas Blue Labels. Rears are 6X6 3-bolt with a Carlisle 13X6.6-6 Turf Tire. I purchased a pair of 1 1/4 i.d. wheel hubs from e-bay and made adapters to mount them to the 20mm original axle shafts. Fronts are 5X5 with a 11X4-5 Turf Saver tire mounted on it. 5/8 bearings, I had to cut off the original axles and weld on a 5/8 shoulder bolts with 1/2-13 threaded end.
Sorry people, I did not post this to try to sell them. I took a broken down Razor Buggy @ $450, Ripped apart a $350 pocket bike and grafted all the parts together. A few parts I custom built in the shop. Price wise if you could not do it yourself it would probably cost you $1200 to $1500 in services. I built it for my kids because I wanted them to have something nobody else had.
I would love to pay for that amount for something like this if you have time... I'm just got mechanically inclined and I and our family also do not like things everyone else has. Lol. You can message me please michael.matarazzo74@gmail.com
what is that engine? i have the same exact one on a scooter that i got for free and im trying to find a new carb do you know what its called or where you got it?
Nope! My 49cc Razor Dune Buggy sits in my backyard in pieces after dodging two cars and slamming straight into the curb doing 40 mph. That was about a year and a half ago. I got FOCKED the FOCK UP. Fun while it lasted. I hauled that thing around in my backseat everywhere I went. Perfect size... Pocket Kart! I like how you hooked yours up! Very nice. Mine was pretty much a budget-Kart.
OK, been a while since I've been here, yes I still have the buggy. Just so everybody knows, I robbed the motor and sprockets from an X1 pocket bike. The entire rear swing arm is custom fabricated. Sorry no videos on the build, no pictures either. It was just something I through together. I'm 220lbs and it moves me about 25 mph. My six year old took off on it and it was so scary fast I won't let him ride it anymore. Handle bars are custom built. I'm going to convert over to foot controls.
Currently working on building the same thing. Looking for some help, mainly on the wheels, hopefully your still active on this account, let me know and we can talk. I'll send some money your way for the time.
hey men nice work , i have one just like. but mine does not work , can you tell me where to get , tires and engine just like yours. my son saw you video and he wand just like it. i will appreciate it .. thanks.
I know it's been a while since you posted this video but I was just wondering what kids bike the bars came off of. everything I've seen goes up and out which is too tall for the buggy.
Doesn't even look custom made that's how good it looks.

Did you ever look them up?

But seriously, 40mph with a 49cc motor? I am thinking of buying a 49cc but will think it will be slow. How fast did you actually go, really 40?
Nice job
