    All the noise from a gas power and only got 25mph? I went with custom build and modified a Razor ground force drifter to this monster ground force with 48V 2000w motor. I get 41mph on high setting. czcams.com/video/BhrOZUEQw8Q/video.html The only one like this on CZcams that I known of.

    Nice job I also made one like that but I put a 79cc engine on it.I just need to know how to put the bigger tires on it.

      Rears - I took a length of 1-1/4 round stock and chucked it in a lathe. Bored center out to 19mm to fit shaft. Then I double set screwed so the screws lined up in the key way of the shaft. I also ran a key way on the outside lengthwise to accept gocart spindles. Fronts - I cut the axles off and welded on 5/8 I think shoulder bolts. Then I purchased hubs with same size bearings. Added Douglas wheels .

      Randy Volz wow one year ago I was asking about tires and now I’ve made two of them.one has a 212cc on it and it’s faster than my friends 420cc gokart.I think it’s about 60 mph.Stay in touch

      @@samsgarage1716 Hey! I'm currently doing the same thing, 212cc engine into this razor buggy. What size sprocket/clutch did you use to achieve 60mph??

  • @samsgarage1716
    @samsgarage1716 Před 6 lety

    That’s hot. I’m in the middle of converting my sons razor dune buggy into a gokart but I’m going to use a small predator engine. I already made two razor drifters with a 49cc pocket bike engine and their really fast.I like the way you hook it up.

  • @andrewborry
    @andrewborry Před 11 lety

    That is awesome, I converted a razor drifter to gas power using a weed wacker motor. It ran pretty well. I now have one of the dune buggy razors and a small 2hp motor ( not sure if its too much motor for the razor , but im going to give it a try ) What size motor is on yours? what caught my eye on your cart are the wheels , it looks real awesome what sizes are they?

    Sorry people, I did not post this to try to sell them. I took a broken down Razor Buggy @ $450, Ripped apart a $350 pocket bike and grafted all the parts together. A few parts I custom built in the shop. Price wise if you could not do it yourself it would probably cost you $1200 to $1500 in services. I built it for my kids because I wanted them to have something nobody else had.

    OK, been a while since I've been here, yes I still have the buggy. Just so everybody knows, I robbed the motor and sprockets from an X1 pocket bike. The entire rear swing arm is custom fabricated. Sorry no videos on the build, no pictures either. It was just something I through together. I'm 220lbs and it moves me about 25 mph. My six year old took off on it and it was so scary fast I won't let him ride it anymore. Handle bars are custom built. I'm going to convert over to foot controls.
