    If I just had a pocket full of dough I would take these guys either a C3 Corvette or maybe a Trans Am and have them build a monster for me. They turn out some beautiful machines!

      Detroit Speed, Inc. I have followed some of the things that you’ve done on the green mamba Corvette and I want to build one just like it

    What do you guys think about some big block power opposed to LS?!

    • @caseyanderson2783
      @caseyanderson2783 Před 4 lety +4

      The big block is definitely cool compared to LS everything these days! (Although the LS7 in your DSE-Z Iroc sounds insane!) The big block fits this car right. Also really like the stance on the car. Nice size wheels and tires but the car is not riding on the ground. You guys build awesome stuff!!

      Love it! A welcome relief to see some traditional BB power. LS swaps are boring as hell and will never be as cool as a traditional BB. Thanks!!

    That sheet metal is arrow straight, just beautiful. Is the 572 a crate engine? The rear tires appear to be somewhat narrower than other Detroit Speed builds. A fantastic road car. Nice work!!!!

    Quick question when you make a 69 camaro does it get registered as a 69 camaro so it doesn’t require smog or is it like a brand new car ?

    • @detroitspeed
      @detroitspeed  Před 4 lety

      These are all tagged and titled as original cars. They all come in with a factory VIN.

    • @ItsTheDon27
      @ItsTheDon27 Před 4 lety

      Detroit Speed, Inc. I’m kinda confused. I’m in CA would I have to get it smog yearly ?

    • @trashbandit2449
      @trashbandit2449 Před 2 lety

      @@ItsTheDon27 no, they're older than 1975. This is an original, real 1969 camaro. They just did upgrades. Last I checked, if your car (in california) is older than 1975 it does not need to be tested, it's exempt.

    • @ItsTheDon27
      @ItsTheDon27 Před 2 lety

      @@trashbandit2449 oh ok just seem like they make everything so wasn’t sure if it’s a brand new car or still the classic

    • @trashbandit2449
      @trashbandit2449 Před 2 lety

      @@ItsTheDon27 yeah pretty much everything has been replaced or restored, so of the original, pretty much just the frame and pieces of the body is left, I would guess.
