Nice. Can we have a 'Most Used' option for plugins in the menu, along with 'Recent' and 'Favorites'?

It’s an okay option, but I wish that you could have redundancy in the folders. What if I want my Limiter in both the Dynamics folder and the Mastering folder? It’s hard to use folders without redundancy for me personally. I hope this gets added

Been waiting for this since the beginning. If I was to customize my plugins, there would be many that would belong to more than one category.

That’s so cool 🤩 …Studio One is waaaay better than industry standard Pro Tools 💯

The ability to copy the same plugin to multiple folders IS needed. Also a right-click and copy function for selecting and pasting plugins would be useful, because drag and drop is a nightmare with a long list of folders or plugins.

I find these tips very useful and appreciate them very much - I have noticed that this gentleman's voice and delivery bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain Dr. Strangelove in the film of the same name.

now i can group all the UAD plugs I paid for instead of accidentally activating a demo on ones I don't own. Thanks!

i also use this structure since a long time but the downside is u can only pick a vst in 1 folder - sometimes i wanted to have same vst in 2 different folders (e.g: 1176 in Folder Comps (FET) but also in folder Mixdown Fav or whatever) - u get the idea - any way to realize this? - in CB for example I can do it from the plugin Manager once I add it twice in different folders. Gregor please show me a workaround or gimme a perspective dude :)

Works when you have only five plugins but if you have say a hundred then it's a burden to drag plugins around like that. The plugin manager should have a feature to change the folders of (bulk of) plugins directly from inside the manager..

Agree. Just tried to organize my plugins in a new folder and its so cumbersome since I have hundreds of plugins. Nice idea but needs more development

I've done this for a long time BUT it was not easy when it came time to move settings over to a new PC.
I DID manage to track down the Studio One xml file on my old PC (PluginPresentation.settings) that contained the details of my custom folders, so I copied the the folder details into the corresponding xml file in the new install on Studio One.
HOWEVER, the links/paths to the plugins was not included so I had to go through the plugins one by one and move them manually.
(Well, they ARE there but encoded in "Registry Speak") ...
I'd like to know if there is a way to back up all those paths, or identify the plugin entries in that Paths list, just in case I have to do a reinstall at some point in the future.

Is this a copy function or a move function? In other words, does the original location still show the plugin?
