Plugin Manager is great but still there are some useful features lacking related to it. For instance why go to Plugin Manager itself to check version every time instead of just showing it together with vendor and category in description field when moving in browser tree?
Also it would be great if there would be option to selectively rescan plugins. If you have hundreds of them and some during scan trigger additionally action it is eating huge amount of time time, but sometimes we know we need to rescan only 1 vendor's plugins like after updates or some manual houskeeping...
not intuitive to save a song to save global settings. not sure if I like that

I nest all my plugins in Category folders.
I find Plugin Manager most useful for finding which Folder that I've put a particular Plugin in.
Also helps in finding a newly installed plugin.
Nested category folders help a lot when making plugin choices.
Gregor would you consider a tutorial on setting up and/or using vocaloid 5 in Studio One 5? Thanks
This is certainly cool, but only affects what is seen in the list. With hundreds of registered plugins, starting Studio One takes a very very very long time to start up (up to 10 minutes on a Windows 64bit i7 gaming PC with 32GB of Ram and an NVidia RTX2060 Super video card.
I wish there was a way to control which plugins are loaded up startup- even none, for existing songs to load only what they need when opened, and to turn on plugins as they are needed during an edit.
Where is the next update ? it's been a while I think, bring on the video track and atmos, Oh and a proper panner on the mixer.

Hi could you please make a change on the way inserts are recalled in a scene. Currently if if insert option is selected on recall then all inserts are recalled when that scene is recalled. The downside is if you make a change to an insert during a live mix, then that change will be reset when you recall the next scene. Of course you could just update the scene but when you have like 20 scenes, you'd have to update each and every scene. It would make more sense if you could select which inserts to be recalled instead of all inserts.

5:40 That's not correct. Saving the song has no effect on the Plug-in Manager settings. They are saved automatically and always global, regardless of the song.

Could I be doing something wrong? When I enter my product code from a digital download, it's not recognized. I have 5 Pro. Help?
After a recent update of S1 pro some 3rd party plugins work but the GUI does not show. The plugin when open isblak/blank, When bypass it works and can use the minimal sliders in the console when double click on insert. How can I get the Gui to show up like before to make use of the plugin in a proper way? I uninstalled the plugin, reinstalled it also update it. Still no Gui to adjust settings, but plugin works, as you can hear when bypass. Other plufgins from same company works perfectly fine.
Need an option to rename plugins. Some of 'em are pretty long and I want to manually rename them.

What kind of stand is that for the Atoms?
Gregor, I just purchased ST1-6 and when it boot up and scans the plugins I can see it sees the Waves plugins but they don't show up in the effects list. HELP!
Can you do a vid to demonstrate the difference between VST 2 & 3 , AU etc.
Choose VST3 when available is the basic answer. The differences are too long for a comment thread.
Hi! Why when I try to find let’s say Kick in Files menu bar, in results s1 show me just a part of files from my external SSD?
Hey Gregor, when I right-click for the “show in finder” I get “Enable Plug-in Nap” Why is that? I have the latest Studio One built 5.5.2

What if we hide a plug-in in the manager, if it is already used inside the current or others songs ?
Can we still see and use it in these existing songs ?

i saw ATOM SQ controler, i think its have a lot of potential, because Maschine the problem is the daw, so Atom + studio one = big level, Maybe Atom 2 with more power

where do we get the hubm your damn videos say do this and that so does presonus but when i click on products etc that i have access to its non existent... literally not showing up.. presonus has no fix on any page nor have they responded to a aticket so what does one do asi shouldnt have to drag and drop products i own i should be able to open them up in ableton like can open my ableton stuff on studio one 5 but alass no hub is available to download.. if anyone knows a fix to this lemme know asap cheers
before anyone responds i know how to install and find my plugins etc its jsut the hub is not a download option at all, when you click on it or search it it says login to download and nothing, so yeah
It's a bummer that you can't blacklist AU plug-ins. ;)

I want to permanently delete some Plugins.. This doesn't help//
