Hey gregor... In the last few updates, it looked like you were headed towards adding some long requested features for composition. The score editor, sound variations... And I suppose film scoring features would have been added shortly after. But after the Fender acquisition, things changed... I'm a film composer and I would love to switch to S1. But I'm afraid the guitar company thing will change where S1 is headed. It looks like nothing much is happening with S1 right now, with the lack of updates. Most likely because of the work on the new app for beginners. That would be great to have an official statement about the state of S1 to clear things up a bit.

But I have a question: - Can we please get an update that allows us to control start and end markers using encoder knobs on a midi controller like maschine/or any controller with encoder knobs. This would allow us to speed up our slice editing process when working with samples. Thank you 🙏🏾 -Also, can you do a video with an effective way of using Maschine in studio one? Is it possible to capture midi and audio from maschine in studio one, like a regular vst? Thank you 🙏🏾
I get a lot of stuck notes. Usually with UVI Workstation, but occasionally with Presence. The only way I can reset it is to disable the instrument, and re-enable.

I was stoked for this but it actually doesn't work for me. # is set for it, Diva is currently hanging on a note but the key command isn't helping. Switching presets then undoing worked, but the command does not
Well I was about to connect my M-Audio keystation 88 mk3 because the MOOG expression pedal I use doesn't work properly and seems to get stuck in some effect I assign to it. Could be the assignment of the pedal in studio one (5.5 pro), could be the M-Audio keystation. Thanks Gregory 🙏maybe this could be useful for my setup. I use a Tascam model 12 as a mixer but also as a midi controller in studio one.
I was using a Spire in S1 and I got a hang note, hit the # key but it DIDN't work then instead just a note it turned into a hanging chord....Turned it off and back on and it's still there, tried to pick up different sound and it's still there. Gave up !
I use Studio One 5.5 . I use the AMPEG SVT SUITE VST plugin. My Machine is Win 11, 32G Ram, Intel i7. I get GLITCHING in the SO5.5 audio while using the SVT SUITE . To check my CPU usage I do windows ALT,CTRL,DELETE on my win 11 machine . It shows my CPU is at near IDLE with maybe 3% and running at less than 1.5 gHz. BUT BUT BUT, in SO 5.5 I look at the lower left and click on PERFRMANCE which opens a smaller window in my open session, SO 5.5 opens a meter scale with CPU bouncing up to 75% or more... I get audio Glitching, unless i raise my BUFFER up to 4096 !! I have not been able to find any help on this . I have left support messages at Presonus. No one has been able to address this, They just tell me to use 4096 Buffer size.. ughhhhhh This does NOT happen in Nuendo or Protools when I have tried. Thanks for any new suggestions
yeah they told me to use stock plugins only, or contact every plugin manufacturer to get it fixed Or i could just go back to pro tools and not deal with 32 support tickets and that's exactly what I did
I have an M-Audio Oxygen Pro 61 and the Midi Learn button on my setup does nothing at all, which is a shame because it literally has a button that says "panic" underneath. It's used to stop playback but when a midi note is stuck, that button does nothing. If it ever happens again I'm hoping the # will at least work. I once had to kill S1 entirely because a midi note just wouldn't turn off (I normally find the offending note on the keyboard and play it again which sends a fresh midi on and midi off signal but that one time it just didn't work)
@@presonus Really appreciate your reply! :) unfortunately midi CC aren't showing up in my automation parameters, I've tested it with an empty instrument track and with mai tai, sample one and Presence without founding them. I'm using the older pro version 4.6, maybe it has been implemented later
I can’t for the life of me map my mpk mini 2… I watched all of @quanta videos as well as y’all’s videos. And shout out to all three of you Presonus guys, including @quanta for making these videos. But an example for me would be on the mpk mini 2 the knobs k1 through k8 I try to assign say k2 for master volume or effect. But if I just barely bump the knob it takes down the master volume to the bottom instantly. WHY IS THAT? Also, I want to be able to map but if I pull up the mpkmini 2 and then say whatever Presonus instrument (presence, impact ,etc. it doesn’t say midi learn or anything like so. I’m so frustrated with it guys, if anyone may know a solution plz let me know . I run my studio one in a new MacBook Pro, I have many daws and studios. I’m a drummer I record live sound but on the road or spare time at home I want to have fun making beats via midi. Thanks!
Hallo zusammen, kann mir vielleicht jemand weiter helfen, und zwar würde mich interessieren ob es bei Studio One die Möglichkeit gibt das sich der Mixer unten bei jeder Spur von der Lautsärke her selbst anpasst so wie bei großen Mischpulten, ich hoffe ihr wisst was ich meine? Danke für Infos :)

Arturia soft synths get stuck occasionaly, needed this track. I was always closing / reopening the song

It is not working for me most of times (for VSTi I don't use external MIDI instruments anymore) and I usually close S1 and restart.
Don't work with my Roland Fantom G8... Sometimes the note get stuck... i have to reser in the roland cant in the software.
