Enjoy! - Hry
I have a Brook Wingman XE2 adapter hooked up to my ps3 Slim console, so now I use a ps5 dualsense controller on the ps3 console/games. All functions and buttons on the ps5 controller work as playing just like a ps3 dualshock controller does.
This looks great can you answer just 1 question? Do the rear L2 R2 work full analouge as they perform like digital if you just plug it in usb or blutooth if so i will get one. Thanks
Awesome device. Love my Xbox X controller but I only have old consoles. Up to now, the Xbox controller was just for PC or Android TV games. But the idea of using it on my OG Xbox is amazing. Wireless too which solves the problem of sitting too close. I see Brook has similar device for PS 1 and PS 2. Being able to use my Xbox controller on everything is nuts. I love it.
Yep, I have the PS4 one. I use my Series X controller with my PS4 too. I really don't like any PlayStation controller.
@@RetroCore can you please put the link for the xb2? I just bought it but i bought the first one on Amazon but now that I saw your video I want to buy the xb2 instead. Please put the link in the description or here in the comments to purchase
Awesome accessory! Thanks for showcasing this
No problem!
I'm with you my guy, I also like Brooks products. I myself have a number of their adapters, so far my favorite one is for the Neo Geo since I get to use a ton of different arcade sticks or modern controllers instead of the more expensive and worn-down original sticks or CD pads. This one for the Xbox consoles is especially nice for two very specific reasons.
First, it will allow the use of a wide variety of high-quality arcade sticks that may only have Switch and PS4 compatibility baked into them. I bet playing Killer Instinct on the Xbox One/Series X with a fight stick or hitbox would be badass.
Second, and I have no clue how Brook managed to pull this off, is that you can use different controllers on the OG Xbox. That is a major improvement on so many different levels. I don't think the OG Xbox controllers, whether it's the Duke or the S controller, are bad at all but to have access to the 360 or One/Series controllers sounds awesome. Just like I said before, you can also use an arcade stick which is tough to pull off on an OG Xbox since no sticks were designed for that console natively. Only downside is you need a USB to Xbox adapter, but those are easy to get and most people who soft mod their Xbox's will have these lying around anyways.
I am a one handed gamer I need to remap the joysticks on razor tartarus which is plug and play on 360 so false advertising not all XBOX controllers work on this
@@smokingdoobie2443 Razor is a third party company. It's not guaranteed that all third-party devices will work on these adapters, of which most were designed and released AFTER the 360, so not really false advertising. 🤷♂️ That being said, since you are a one-handed gamer, might I sudgest trying out the Microsoft Adaptive Controller? If you're able to build and play on a PC you could also try using a custom button setup from other handicapped pc controllers since button mapping via Windows is probably going to be a lot easier there. Not sure exactly what your situation is but I thought I'd throw a couple suggestions out just in case. Everyone should have the ability to enjoy games. 🙂👍
Definitely want one of those to my use my 20th anniversary Xbox controller on the 360, mainly because the d-pad is heaps better on those controllers.
Nice! Thank you for sharing this.
Glad you liked it!
Thats an amazing product!!
it's brilliant it's a dream come true
I'm going to get this. I have been looking for a new controller for my Xbox 360 as one controller is not working properly anymore. All third party controllers that look interesting and seem to be of good quality don't support the Xbox 360. With the XB2 though I can easily use my Xbox series s/x controller which I have been only using on my pc until now.
Mans gonna use a joystic to play cod. Ordered one of these, had an issue where i didnt like the xbox controllers but liked the ps5 ones but the other way round for the consoles so now gonna get the best of both.
@@swiftyyy870 does the brook adapter emulate a Xbox controller? Or ps5
Nice. I'll get it mainly for og xbox fighting games.
Does it let you boot up the 360 by holding down any other controllers guide button?
Finaly I can enjoy my xbox 360 and ps3 without wasting money on controllers, thanks to this adabter
Your ps5 screen saver/theme is sick af, I wish I had that
Thanks. That's my PS4 though.
I think this screen saver came from a Tetris game. I really can't remember.
Would this work with a wired 360 guitar, making it able to play rock band 4 on xbox one?
Going to get this so i could use my xb 360 controller on my xb one for some original MW2 multiplayer
Hey will this stop controller input delay on backwards compatible games for 360 on my series s..?? would be so good for bo1 and mw3 right now but the xbox one controller has crazy input delay when aiming on backwards compatibility games like mw3 and bo2 ??
if i have xbox 360 controller wireless and i have contector to computer would it work with this adapter on my xbox series s?
There is one drawback - vibration does not work in xbox original games
tested with Dualsense, Dualshock 3 and other gamepads
Is this normal or is it just me having a problem? (brook wingman xb)
Does the turbo feature work? When using a controller with that function?
can I use usb hub for connect 4 controllers by using this adapter to Xbox SS?
Will the Wolverine V2 pro be compatible with the device to use on Xbox? Also I heard that you cannot use mic with it is this correct
got mine in and a new wireless 360 controller just bc nostalgia and the dark green brook USB doesnt work, controller and usb thing will flash for like ever and nothing. tried to hook it up to PC and PC didnt even recognize a USB at all. so idk. More lack of faith of faith in USB device then controller right now so any advice please comment on this thread...
Siempre el control tiene que estar conectado con cable ?
I can't wait, hopefully I can use my Wii U controller.
Update. I got it and works great with my Wii U Pro controller
Do they vibrate at times on the gameplay or cut scenes when they need to?
Can i use a wireless gamecube controller on my xbox series x with this?
Can you use this on a ps3 too? Or do you have to buy another product. I have both 360 and ps3 but i dont have controllers for them.
Can i use my rock band guitar ps4 on xbox series via this convertor?
Is it used to use a kingkong 2 pro switch controller on an xbox series x console?
yes but only wired worthwhile
an you turn on the console wirelessly?
How do you plug it into the original xbox if it's USB?
By using the Xbox ubs adapter. These are ultra common and cheap. They even sell them on Amazon.
Guru Larry! 😁
I have a ps3 mad catz te2 fightstick. Will that work for sf6?
Switch Pro Controller 😍😍
Sry for my english, has the ds4 and dual Sense from ps5 Vibration Funktion with this stick on Xbox series?
Sorry, I dont know.
Will xbox 360 wired controllers will work on xbox one? It says it does
Would this adapter work on the 8bitdo ultimate bluetooth controller? 🤔
Yes i have those controller even 8bitdo arcade stick will work
So if you have multiple wingman or brook can you plug them into a multi port adapter and plug that into xbox? I've seen multi ports for pc it's one male usb plug connected to several female usb plugs and even hdmi but would that work
Good question. I don't know to be honest. I'm sure you can't do that with wired pads so probably not.
My chung li tournament arcade stick isn't working on my xbox 1. Anyone encounter this problem?
Can you also use and assign the touchpad button of the Ps5 controller?
I beleive this was possible.
@@RetroCore Didn't you test that?
This device support the King kong pro 2 controller?
I’ll receive my wingman in a couple of days, then I’ll try with my King Kong 2 pro controller on NVIDIA shield tv pro and PC.
Hit me up in 4-5 days and I’ll let you know.
Can you use GameCube controllers on the Xbox?
So the sticks work
I bought the wingman xb converter to pair the new Gulikit King Kong 2 Pro controller (no stick drift) to my Xbox series X, but I'm having a hard time getting it to work. I wonder if I need to get the wingman xb2?
Any luck? This is exactly what I was considering doing. Only thing that kept me from ordering a Gulikit is it doesn't have back buttons. Thinking about the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth controller.
@Ken Spamfree It connects fine with the wingman xb, no need for xb2.
That said....
Wireless it is a mess, slow inputs, vibration Lagg.
Wired though, through the wingman xb, perfect
@@iperformm5793 I was able to pair it with the wingman, but all of the controls were haywire when I tried to use the controller. Tried several different methods and nothing worked. What mode were you using the controller in for it to work?
@f3nixfire For wired connection it needs to be on windows mode. The buttons will operate like a xbox controller.
You can connect it wireless to the xb on 'switch mode' but its a bit of a mess, sluggish inputs and laggy controller vibration.
As a heads up on wired as mentioned, it will operate like an xbox controller even though the king kong buttons are back to front. I have ordered the replacement buttons but really there is no need I'm just a bit OCD
I'm speaking about the xb converter.
Again, no need for the xb2, works flawlessly wired for me on my series x
@@iperformm5793 ah yes, that was my problem. I was trying to use wireless and it only worked on switch mode but ya it was an absolute mess. I'll try wired
Thank you for your help!!
I wonder if the razer wolverine controllers would work in this. Connects USB and is apart of the xbox one controller family "technically"
In that case they should work.
Hi, i just received this today and it is great thanks. But my Xbox has now come up with this error “A connected accessory is not authorised
Using unauthorised accessories compromises your gaming experience. For this reason, the unauthorised accessory will be blocked from use on 08/02/2024. For help returning it, check with the store it came from or contact the manufacturer.”
Do you know if there will be a work around for this? 😮
Man, that is not cool. Must be a recent firmware update to the Xbox. I have no idea of Brook will address this issue. Best contact them or check out their website.
Nice video! Btw will the controllers still transmit audio over the 3mm audio jack?
I'm afraid I've not checked that. Best to take a look at the Brook website.
a while ago there as this brand with a crazy amount of accessories to play any controller on any console, gamesack played ps4 with a nes controller, I would liketo play a wii mote controller as a zapper for other consoles now that would be what I need
That would solve a lot of issues but is it possible?
@@RetroCore it is, an user showed a moded wii mote to work on a nes console, now we just need a commercial version so anybody can buy one
If only someone would 😔. I guess we can wish.
So I'm thinking about getting one of these, but one question leaves me hesitant. Apparently Microsoft has been away with 3rd party stuff, so I was wondering if I got one for my 360 would I still be able able to use an XSX controller with it?
Best to ask at the Brook website as they're always releasing new firmware updates for their products.
My new XB2 is not working properly on my Series X. Each time you turn it on, the adapter will be solid blue and will not go into search mode. I always have to manually press both buttons on the adapter so that it connects the controller. With the Wingman XB1 it worked perfectly. I am badly disappointed. Is the adapter defective?
Sounds like it but I'd contact Brook about it. They may have a solution for you.
Have sa same problem. Did you fix it?
@@alexanderbehrens9286 Thanks for the reply bro.
What firmware version you used to update?
Any idea how audio is handled? So lets say you use a PS4 controller on a Series X, will you also get audio out of the 3.5mm jack on the controller? I'm hoping you could also have a party with an audio mix between game audio and chat?
no -_- dummy use a wireless headset for that
this device only translates controller input
@@itzdcx7991 Thanks for the insult but not having the gadgets in front of me its hard to visualise the connections. But using your answer I'm guessing you need to use two controllers? One for audio/chat and the other linked to the XB2 for input?
The audio wouldn't work. The wingman is a XIM (Xbox Input Machine) that has 3 main components: a built in (illegal) translator that translates button and potentiometer inputs into proprietary Xbox inputs, has a way to detect third party inputs via updates and software, and a bluetooth module that allows connections via...bluetooth.
Audio is a whole different ball game that would probably (if possible at all) require a bigger device. I don't think it is possible since the information is passed through the controller's hardware, which would require a hardware modded controller.
When are they out nothing in UK 19/11/22. Thanks
They should be available world wide by early December.
can i connect two controller at the same time?
I don't believe so. you'd need two Wingman converters.
Says you need a USB adapter to use this with the classic Xbox. Where would you get one of those?
Dirt cheap on ebay. People still use them for softmods.
They're plentiful on the likes of Ebay or even sites that sell 3rd party xbox accessories. They even sell them on Amazon www.amazon.com/Cotchear-USB-Adapter-Cable-Xbox-Black/dp/B07FCFGG8Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=1310U2PVVYV9A&keywords=xbox+usb+adapter&qid=1667985928&sprefix=Xbox+USB+%2Caps%2C464&sr=8-4
Those Xbox USB convertor adapters are cheap and anyone still using an OG Xbox should have that cable anyway.
I don't even remember what you wrote 🤔😅
Might have to get this so I can use my XBox One controller on my XBox 360 so I can just one one controller instead of two ( I use the XBox One controller on a few devices already )
Good idea.
Out of curiosity, would the Mayflash GCN adapter be compatible? I know the Gamecube controller has less buttons, but I was hoping to fulfill my dream of playing Godzilla: Save the Earth with a 'cube controller.
I also want to know this. I gotta get GameCube on Xbox somehow
Can You use 3rd party Dualshock4 controllers whit series s?
Yes,.
If Gulikit King Kong Pro 2 had back buttons I would have bought one then got a Brook Wingman for Xbox. Finally there would be a decent controller for Xbox.
I'm tempted by the 8bitdo Ultimate Bluetooth for switch. Hoping Gulikit announces a King Kong Pro 3 soon though.
Would the 8bitdo work with this adapter?
King Kong 2 is not in compatibility list present on the developer's site
someone managed to wirelessly connect King Kong 2 to Xbox using Mayflash Magic-X. found a thread on reddit
So what’s difference between first and second revisions? Wingman xb1 also works with all xbox
This works with the Elite controllers and other controllers that have none standard Bluetooth.
Wingman xb V1 No support wireles controllers Xbox one S, Xbox series X/S and Elite series 2.......this controllers only work with cable usb in wingman xb 1 on xbox 360 and original xbox
@@helldante100 xbox 360 controller still requires a pc receiver, not sure if there be lag or not
To be honest I just bought one to use on the classic xbox.
I'll have to try this out, though I'd wanna use PC controllers on Xbox (most of them are wired so it shouldn't be a problem?)
You should be fine.
@@RetroCore Nice, cause I'd like to try and test out using either my Microsoft Sidewinder gamepad using the Brook Wingman Xb2 and the same goes for the Logitech F310 as well.
Update: I tried the Brook Wingman XB2 adapter with both a gamestop powerwave controller and even an original Xbox Controller using an Xbox to USB adapter and nothing happened.
Does it work with brook controller too?
Yep!
Does anyone know if a Scuf controller is compatible with these?
Scuf controllers are official controllers with mods. If it can fool the original system it will probably work with this.
How many controllers can be connect at once
Just 1.
Ok thanks
so obviously there are only third party pc receivers for xbox 360 controllers , if we use this on xb2 to play wirelessly will there be lag?
I wouldnt know but I doubt there would be any lag introduced by the actual Wingman.
@@RetroCore hmmm that is tricky so it falls on the receivers.
can I connect more than one controller with one xb2 converter?
thank you
I'm afraid not.
I wanted to know the same, dont understand why no one mentions It. It should allow more than 1 cmon.
@@Dan-gw3cu unfortunately, you cannot connect more than one controller with one XB2 :c, i tried
@@iB4D3Rx can xbox 360 fit two of them adapters?
Nice! I wonder if an XBox 360 racing wheel would work with this on an OG Xbox.
It should
Xbox360 controller works with the 360 dongle made for pc
I will Try the steering wheel tomorrow
@@dutchcinephile1362 Thanks!
@@Colin_Ames the steering wheel works
But it need some calibration to adjust the steering wheel
It react really slow in steering
I didn't not found any oprions in nfs u2 and forza motorsport to adjust this Issue.
@@dutchcinephile1362 I appreciate you taking the time to test this and report the result. Thanks!
Can you use the device on ps5
Sorry, no idea.
Does this work with PC too?
I don't think so.
Could the WiiU GameCube adapter work? 🤔🤔🤔
Hmm, good question. Sadly I can't check that.
If anyone has the answer it would be great, now thatthe gamecube will be more and more developped on xbox series
X2 doesn't register analog inputs of 8BitDo Ultimate Controller
Maybe you need to update the firmware?
@@RetroCore I did that, still nothin
Somebody know it is bannable? I want to play whit my control elite on my Xbox 360.
No, you will not get banned for using this device.
Is there a cheaper alternative lol
Very nice device, but very frustrating. Often, it simply lost connection in a middle of the game.
You might have the xb1? I’ve had both the original and the xb2 and I don’t notice disconnection issues with the xb2 but I did with the first one. Especially playing wireless.
Supports Rock Band Guitar Xbox 360 with console Series X.
Supports Rock Band Guitar Xbox 360 with console Xbox Series X?
I have no idea. It should but best to check on the official Brook forum or shoot them a mail. They may have a compatability guide.
I got a question because my birthday is coming up in a few days: can you use XBOX ELITE controllers on the XBOX 360 with XB2 Brook? Let me know in the comments.
Sorry, I dont know. I haven't git any Elite controllers to try that out.
it's so lame what microsoft does not allow xbox 360 wired controller connect to xbox one/series
Very underwhelmed by this adapted. Input lag stinks
did you order it online or go to store
So now I can use the superior Playstation controller on my Xbox nice
If I connect a brook ps2 to ps4 adapter into the xb2, will it work?
Good question but I don't know for sure.
