I noticed the intercom on the boom screen is grey out,so the ability to talk to passenger will not work(unable to turn intercom on)is that something the shop tech will need to turn on before customer takes delivery of trike?
Hey, great question! When the icon is grayed out like you saw, that just means there is no active headset either plugged in or connected. Once you've paired your favorite headset that icon will be the same shade as the ones around it. Then you can select that icon and see options to adjust several headset settings.
I was interested in this bike, then started doing research. M8 engine oil sumping, engine overheating, abs brakes locking up, trunk lid issues, reverse/starter motor issues all for $40,000. Think I’ll look into a Can Am
I’ve had my Trike over a year. The heating issue comes from the exhaust. This is resolved by getting a Stage One installed since all new bikes need to meet EPA emission standards. As far as brakes, I’ve have never experienced any issues. Trunk lid issues stem from one not understanding how the locking mechanism works. Once you figure it out, it’s a breeze. $40,000 for a new Trike seems too high to me since I bought mine new for $35,000. It must be dealer incentives that are being added. Good luck in your search for a new Trike.

Harley-Davidson has some of the best marketing anywhere. Otherwise they would offer on a new bike or trike your choice of handlebars right out of the showroom. But NOOOOOOO. They allow the dealer to make a killing putting new ones on your bike, your choice of course at a staggering price of over $1,000. They know the stock bars suck.
