I'm on my second TriGlide Ultra, first was a teal colored 2020 now I have a 2021 Billiard red. We went to a trike due to my wife's health issues, she has battled cancer eight times, maxed out on Chemo, radiation and cyber knife treatments. She is currently on immunotheraopy treatments and will be every 28 days for the rest of her life. She can't walk without a walker due to the radiation has destroyed the blood flow to her hips. I have arthirits and gout so I had to make a couple changes to our trike, first foam handlebar grips. With a trike you have to steer, not lean and my hands hurt so bad at night I couldn't sleep, the foam grips help a lot. Second, I installed a heel shifter for when my gout is flared up in my feet. These are just the cost of riding when you are old.

@@goldilocks913 Thank you for your reply ans well wishes. We used to ride 15,000 miles a year. This year due to all the health issues we still managed to ride over 10,000 miles. Not bad t=for two old geezers.

Talked to a lot of people with tri glides and watch the slip on pipe clamps they come loose !
Mine was loose with only 400 miles on it so be safe and enjoy .

But again with a solid rear axle instead of independent rear suspension.

Messed up my back and would love to have one of those but they cost what I paid for my Toyota Tacoma.
BEWARE:
I had a Motor Trike kit installed by Superior Trikes, Florence, SC. They knowingly delivered my trike to me with numerous issues and 2 dangerous issues = did not torque down handle bars and they almost came off while riding and reverse battery was wrong size and installed incorrectly which melted the terminals. If Superior Trikes didn't know all of the 12 issues prior to delivery then they shouldn't be doing any installations at all! I have pictures, videos, text msgs, tel nbrs, email addresses etc. for anyone to see. Motor Trike corporate told me I had to have the very dealer that did the shit installation repair the issues or warranty would be void.

So a tank badge and pinstripes ... other than that, and fixing the oil sump issue, that's the only difference between the new 2022 and my 2019 Tri-Glide.
Hopefully the issue that skidding out rear end throwing off the side only seemed few units had issue not sure??

the Can Am Spyer does come in semi auto. Paddle shit up and full auto down. No clutch required. All you need is your left hand for the paddle shifter, right leg for the single Blake pedal and your right hand for throttle. No front hand brake needed. Just the pedal, like a car. All ABI and full traction control and auto cornering speed sensor for safety ( never have had it cut in). Really superior to the Harley in all ways except for the sound does not have the rumble of the Harley. Have driven them both quite a bit. And the Spyder is faster as well. Corners much better too. Has been very dependable. So maybe this will be your ticket.
Boss Hoss trikes might have a solution for you. Check them out. Chevy engines with auto xmsn. I tested one out at Sturgis years ago. Hold on though...They're FAST!

Not a whole lot different than my 2019. I do like the pin striping and tank badge. They have done away with the heel shifter as of 2020. I hated mine and took it off. After 50 years of riding without one, I just couldnt get used to it and kept getting my foot caught in it. Also the light at the tip of the front fender has been deleted (C'mon Harley....really!) I see they're still putting on crappy handlebars that are way too low. Funny, I never once had a tendency to want to put my feet down. Probably from riding my ATV.

I hear you, I have a 2019 and aside from 2 minor things, and fixing the oil sump issue, there isn't any difference. I didn't know about the heel shifter. Like you that was the first thing I yanked off my 2019. Even if I wanted to use it, since I wear size 16 shoes, it just wouldn't work for me.
@@W9HJBill I'm only an 8 1/2 to 9 so it wasn't a shoe size problem...more of a muscle memory problem. I'm about to take a crack at taller handlebars. I'm not that tall but the stock bars have me reaching and hunched over. Kills my neck.

It does. It basically works off the starter motor. There is a little procedure to get it to engage ... start the motor, put it in neutral, squeeze both the clutch and front brake lever, press the R button in for like 3 seconds, then you can let go of both levers and press the R button again and as long as you press it, the motor run and you go backwards.

Yes, it got standard AM/FM & Sirius XM
No it does not. You can buy the module like I did, plus the antenna and have it flashed. All told about $400. if you install it yourself.

Harley Davidson's won't let put the 131 on the new bikes. Just put a 131 on my 2019 freewheele .hold on tight or there will be a man over board.

I bought 8 Harley Davidson motorcycles from roadrunner Harley Davidson in Goodyear Arizona last year and 1 this year
They will do it but you lose the warranty. If you know of a place that will do it let me know. You can never have too many bikes. Call roadrunner and mention my name there isn't a employee who doesn't know me

I’ll take a Can Am Spyer over a Harley trike any day. I have ridden both quite a bit. Spyder far superior in all ways, especially cornering, and a good bit faster. Oh……yeah, except that the Harley sounds better. Vrooom vrooom!
