  • Here I show two possible ways to two-shot clear the Animal Crossing Software Launcher Badge Catcher that is now Nintendo Badge Arcade’s permanent Practice Catcher when going for the 3DS Sound Launcher badge. I played with a stylus so it would be easier for viewers to see the exact moment I let go of the button controlling the crane.
Neither is exactly the same as the situation that the GameFAQs users on the board “Badge Arcade Tips & Progress (Post-eshop closure)” are describing, (The players on that board are describing a situation that is most similar to the second way) but they still get the job done and if you imitate my attempts shown in the video, you might end up with the situation described on the board if you don’t get either of the ones in the video.
I would like to give a special thanks to the participants on the GameFAQs message board “Badge Arcade Tips & Progress (Post-eshop closure)”. You guys are an inspiration. After I checked that board a few times, I got back into the habit of playing Nintendo Badge Arcade and thanks to your tips, I have already won some badges I had been missing for years.

I noticed no one else seems to be uploading Nintendo Badge Arcade guide videos for post-eShop closure play, so I started filming and uploading some.
I know the way I recorded this video is rather unprofessional, but I don’t have a streaming 3DS, so I did what I could.

It's hard to pull off, but it is possible to get all 4 in one try!
You have to position the claw over Tom Nook. The claw is wide enough when it's open to shove K.K. and Reese (pink alpaca) to the side.
If you're lucky, Reese and Digby (the archway dog) fall down, the claw picks up Tom, and K.K. rolls off.

I have a video of that too. I uploaded this because it’s an easier approach for some. Some players have even had a preference to try the one-shot method first, then do this on the final play for a better chance at more practice badges.

@@wildsilvallydreams3606 Oh, nice! I'll have to look through your videos again. I didn't see that in there a while back.
Also I have a few machines left to get badges from, so I'll definitely be looking to your channel for some help. (I had hoped they would not be so stingy with the extra tries after the shutdown)
