    No downtown? That was like 5 years ago. Yeah, the Beaverton Substation is still there, but now there's a Pip's donuts, Magna kubo (Phillipine food), Family Cafe (Iraqi food), right there on that little section of Broadway. Go across Farmington to the south and there's ExNovo brewery, Loyal Legion (fancy bar), Breakside Brewery (and food carts), June (a bar with vegan snacks), Korean restaurants, Afuri (good ramen place), Top Burmese (excellent!) and more. Lots of foot traffic in that area now on a Friday, Saturday night. Go the other direction (North) over Canyon Rd and there's the BG's Food carts and the new Reser Center for the Performing arts - great concert venue. And several more restaurants around there.

    There are a lot of interesting restaurants and higher density developments in downtown. It doesnt feel urban but there are a lot of good small business. A lot of regional, and national chains that only have 1-2 locations in the metro are building new locations there too

    We are thinking of moving to Oregon. Someone told me he just moved out of Oregon to AZ, he complained the state was going crazy, especially during the protest.

    This was so helpful. Your reach out to Elijah was funny and endearing. The Halloween thing, yes annoying because nobody has EVER sent their kid to school dressed like Freddie Kruger have they? I'm a 70s kid they only had clown and princess costumes back then you know, fun stuff. People are just way too over the top with the Karen mentality. Great video.

      I have seen so many Karen's in Beaverton. It is unreal. Oregon is the Karen capital.

      The MLS doesn't host rentals in our market so unfortunately, realtors don't have direct access to rentals that everyone else doesn't have. We always suggest rent.com hotpads.com and zillow.

    • @TheGreatCapello
      @TheGreatCapello Před rokem +1

      You’ll still see them from time to time at the nature parks or near the creeks but just like the black tail deer their populations have been reduced significantly with development.

    Is it possible to move to the Portland area and pay 300k or less for a home? We are also looking at Vancouver, WA as well. We would get a manufactured if it was well maintained. We will likely be retired, but I may work since I am getting a lot of job emails for tech jobs in that area.
