You know, this is one of those rare times where I fall in love with a game. Not because of the character or creature designs or anything like that, but because of the absolutely breathtaking story building and creativity as to the story. This game makes sure you don't skip anything, not only because you cannot, but also because of sheer curiosity. I've never played this before, so no spoilers here, just someone who loves the game.
I think you're the most scared I'd ever anyone be of this game 😂 I applaud you for barreling on though. I promise you'll see the emotional heart of this game eventually

I'm happy I'm not the only one! That was the highlight of my whole playthrough and I never see any CZcamsrs really react to it...

The quantum moon and interloper are somewhat optional but please do them since there are some significant parts of the story there. If you don't figure out what the 46 probes mean by the end you should look up a full explanation of the game after you finish it. It just gets more impressive when you understand everything.

Can't wait to see you try the DLC, this series has been so much fun. Also, quick suggestion: Don't turn on reduced frights, it doesn't make the game any less scary and just cuts half the sections

Very good, you've gotten through the second hardest thing (for you) to do in the game, reach the core of Giant's Deep! But once you find [REDACTED] you'll have something much worse to deal with. For now... 1; try to find a way through the biggest cyclone, 2; teleport back to the sun station and find the courage to jump across open space to the other half, 3; as things fall through the black hole of Brittle Hollow they may become easier to explore in the deep space around the white hole.

Absolutely fantastic letsplay. Hopefully the DLC will be played as well. Personally I think one should play the DLC before beating the base game.
I agree, but not start DLC until 100% sure what the steps are to reach the ending. That said, both are perfectly valid approaches.
The only bad way is do the ending of the game, and do the ending of the DLC without redoing the game ending again.
Can't wait for the next video. It's amazing how quickly you grasp the implications of the information the game gives you, most Streamers need to read the same thing a few times AND discuss it with chat before things click for them.

You HAVE to play the DLC.
46 not bad. also "more to explore here" only disappears if you have scanned every single piece of text in the space. if you even missed a single scan it will say "more to explore." even if the scan is a duplicate from another planet, or flavor text.
Sometimes in certain cases it doesn't though *cough* _Chert's camp_ *cough*

The Red plimbing thing is not the Eye, I ensure you, though I wonder if its worth seeing even without the DLC (which by the way, I highly recommend).

Excellent playthrough thus far. Though, watching you lose your shit here and in Dark Bramble, I must confess… I’m not sure how you’ll handle the DLC - which is honestly almost as long as the base game, and just as good if not better. But… deeply unsettling.
I cannot tell you how long it took me to get to the Southern Observatory, you made it look easy. Well done!
