Let me know if you want to see more content like this :) It was very fun, I'm trying out some formats to see which I like! Did yall like the VFX bit at 7:50? Which Costume was your favorite from The Queen's Gambit?
I was late to the party too. Just finished teh series last week, lol. But love the Pinafores. Would absolutely love to see more content like this. Bring it on!
New sub here, hi!👋 Both the dress and you on it look amazing. The quality of the video and the editing are superb. If a request can be made, please show the pieces of the garment/pattern before you assemble it. It helps a lot to understand the construction of the dress. I am going to go binge on your channel, but first, thanks for the effort you put into these, it's greatly appreciated.
Nice work! I actually worked on that show as a tailor for a while. The main cutter is amazing and I remember her making up the dresses like in no time. She is such a nice lady from Czech Republic. I will see, if I still have her contact to forward this video to her. (Btw- that show was almost completely shot in Berlin ;-)) I am actually researching 17th century costume right now. And now I got completely site tracked on youtube- discovering all these amazing people and their talents
Wow amazing video! That personalised sewing machine behind you at the end is so cool. I’m glad they managed to spell your name correctly, first time, no re-dos.
Stunning work! Also I appreciate the extra time taken to have fun with your skeleton pup. I want to make this outfit someday but I have a list as long as doorway of to-makes so it’ll have to wait. At the time of commenting the pattern and shop appear to be gone so I’ll have to find some other pattern to base mine off of.
hello very beautiful videos please kindly film how to thread and operate the sewing machine you used in this video please OK?please kindly reply back OK?thank you very much
Thank you! I will remember to film the threading of the machine sometime, it's a Brother Innov'is 100, you might be able to find some tutorials on CZcams in the meantime! 😊

An excellent video, excellent dress and excellent VFX! I would even go as far as saying this video is BASED.

BASED on the hit Netflix Limited Series, The Queen's Gambit.
Epic! Good job
Thank you !
Also omg your sowing machine 🤯🤩 I have a vintage singer sowing machine but I’ve never gotten around to use it or sow 😭
The vintage singers are just sooo beautiful, Also it’s amazing that they still work after a 100 years! ☺️
Nah with Queen's Gambit it's never too late
True 😂
I loved the making of this dress. Could you tell me where you got your cutting table? And where you ordered the tartan?
Thank you! The cutting table is an IKEA kitchen table haha, this particular tartan I ordered on Etsy, it's an ex-designer fashion tartan 😊
