Thank you for sharing your trip ❤
My grandparents were born in Scotland. I found your journey really interesting. So beautifully filmed, stunning countryside. 🇨🇦
This was genuinely SUCH a cool project, and a beautifully made video!
Really enjoyed this video! Your outfit was perfect, too. What a wonderful trip back through time but also woven into the present, and beautifully filmed and edited to add to that feeling. I hope you do more of these types of journeys. 🤞🏼💕
Wow I love the footage of that gorge at Ullapool. I've been through Ullapool but would have stopped for this!
This looks amazing, what a wonderful idea and such beautiful views!
New subscriber here from Louisiana, USA & I'm loving your channel.
What a wonderful trip😊
The scenery is beautiful and oh my, the castles!
I'd love to explore Scotland and do some family research. I would like to learn more about 17th and 18th century Scotland.
You look lovely in your Ewardian fashion, its one of my favorite styles to wear.
Thank u for taking me along on your road trip❤
I want to travel and explore Scotland, it's gorgeous
Thank you so very much for taking us with you🙏🏼❤️🥰
Oh, how lovely. Really enjoyed sharing in your trip! Tip for you with the hat - try making a smaller top knot with your hair (as well as your back bun) and fastening it really securely with an elastic and pins, then using a second long hat pin through the middle of your hat, going through the top knot and out the other side of your hat, alongside the one you have at the back. Will help with the losing hat scenario - although I know from experience that Highland winds an be pretty fierce!! I look forward to another instalment.
A great tip! I think I also need to add a hairpiece or something for stability as my hair is really thin, but as we were travelling I didn't bring any hair things (silly of me) 😊
This is such a cool travel idea!
Also, the double take I did when you said "anthrax island", that was an interesting google search.
love this little video! Gives me inspiration and ideas on where to go! Also maybe invest in some hat pins so that it stays on your head!
I definitely need a bigger hatpin! And more hair for it to grab onto hahaha
Lovely video. I picked up a copy of Ward Lock's illustrated guide book for Oban, Skye, Fort William and the Western Highlands, in a charity shop, a couple of years ago. It is a really interesting little book, I cannot find a date on it, but from some of the adverts, I guess probably post WW11.
@@LiljaHusmo I hope to, next summer, when I visit family in Glasgow.
What a beautiful video! It looks like a wonderful trip. I love the animations with the vintage illustrations. I don't know if this was your intention, but some of the shots' colors look like antique black and white footage that has been colorized, and that was such a nice touch! Oh, and the clothing is beautiful! Thanks for sharing this work of art and letting those of us on the other side of the world dream about a trip to Scotland!
I bend the knee to King Taco tbh
What time period would you like to explore Scotland in? 🤔
