If you're looking for good online people to get some advise from I suggest Justin from Hungry Lights, he has some great videos on vocals, specifically the most recent one he made. I also suggest Andy Cizek. Dude made me understand how to do vocal frys which are the bane of my existence

I discovored a new little trick with almost closing my throat with my tongue during mids to get a weird tonal change and it totally reminds me of that tunnel technique. Thanks for the tips.

I can’t do fry vocals to save my life I’ve tried for years. I can do false cords all day & some highs using false cords but I just can’t understand how to do fry & it makes me sad 😬
Hey man, I can only do highs, but I can do them really well. I have no idea how a low or mid false chord is supposed to feel and when I do what sounds closest, I can feel the damage it's doing to my voice. Any tips?
Alex Bourgeois sort of, he is doing two different tunnels throat screams at that part, there is a higher mid tone scream that is in this videos style but the lower one is still tunnel just a slight tongue placement and register shift but yes essentially this technique just brandished in a creative way!

Snow White’s Apple from what I've seen It won't impede you if you don't know how to sing, mainly just learning the techniques with lots of practice will be good( and warm ups)
No you don’t need to be able to sing. You do need to have a basic understanding of pitch, melody and tune though because you’ll find that a lot of people come into it without that knowledge and it greatly impedes results
I would say no it’s not necessary, but applying the breathing techniques for singing to screaming makes them a lot less painful. And singing can strengthen your vocal chords as well. If you’re doing growls like the dog barking technique as I’ve heard it called I don’t think it takes any diagram to do. Which is why I stopped that technique as I couldn’t make that one not hurt. Fry screams are basically yells with the fry register implemented so it’s easy to go from singing to screaming or even just grungy singing so I’d recommend looking into that. And from what I’ve learned fry screams are probably the most natural and they will be the most unique as it’s your own signature sound or voice so to speak.
