A very mean spirited person
I quite literally don't know what the fuck the main character was hoping to achieve when she said that. If anything, the ticket girl would have been even more decided in not letting her in.
I will say that Drew's realistic reenactment of it was hilarious though.
It's like "hey, I know it feels like you're a loser because you are and you have to help me not become a loser-y loser just like you" as if they most likely wouldn't be going to the same school next year 😂

It was so bad I can remember. I usually forget movies.
My absolute least favorite trope in media is fat/ugly character can only date equally fat/ugly character, so pretty skinny character doesn't feel threatened. Like, they never romanticize ugly character's love interest in the same way they would for main character. It always made me feel so deeply insecure as a kid.
And the girl (Yancy?) is so pretty! She's literally so cute. They had the chance to teach such a nice lesson about self image and they just didn't.
Thats my major issue with a lot of movies I've seen from the 00s. They always demonise having a belly, having any fat. So annoying
It’s the same way for ppl w disabilities
Well its "not nice to look at" so they just dont
@@jonnybuijze1770 They even left her out of the cover.
Imagine getting a young girl to call herself fat on film, so depressibg
(Edit: Fat isnt a bad thing, it's just the use of it in the movie)
if i'm getting paid, I'd take the offer too🤪 Plus the role is really easy to play anyway lmao
They didn’t even include her on the movie poster either

Where have I seen that exact same laugh
Sounds a bit like john hamm
Hey Drew, your best ever joke is at 5:54. Thanks for that one.
I think the "no glasses=prettier" trope was invented by someone with glasses, we literally can't fully see ourselves in the mirror without them so we kind of invented that lie to feel better
Not gonna lie, i look prettier without glasses tho
Tbh j actually look better with glasses so I resent this trope
I don't wear glasses, but whenever I put on someone else's or a random pair at the store I look incredible. I actually have that "wow" moment when I see myself with black-rimmed glasses.
I think this is a good theory
That’s an interesting point. I used to wear glasses, and looked like a dork. I got Lasik surgery at 18, and *shouldn’t* need glasses ever again. But I think with the right frames, glasses are stylish, attractive, and add structure to the face. I can’t find a legitimate reason to wear “fake” glasses, even though blue-light filtering lenses exist. :(
lol i've gotten so used to my glasses that without them my face just looks unnatural to me
I'm severely disappointed at the notable lack of Steve Carell in this video
exactly
Sameeee
Same
He's not in enough of the movie, but he has waaaaaaayyyyy better scenes and energy than showcased here
Now that Evan Peters is the favorite actor in America due to his portrayal of the serial killer from Milwaukee, Jeff D.
As a glasses wearer I would like to confirm that everyone who wears glasses is a hideous monster and everyone who wears sunglasses is just some stranger who is also invisible
The fact that the teacher is not even ugly, like AT ALL💀
Teacher is hot but his willingness to take dating advice from middle schoolers is highly questionable
Thank god I wasn’t the only one who thought the teacher was hot 💀
he is 🔥🔥👅
Meh...
@@virgochic81 Go back to trying to find someone who likes brownies.
Okay, but are we gonna ignore 14:17... that "Greenday lookalike" guitarist is LITERALLY AIR GUITARING THE GUITAR IN HIS HANDS I'm...huh?????
“In four years I will be you if I don’t go to this dance.” That and implying that people should like celery over brownies is… dammit I can’t take it
