Hey, thanks for sharing this video. How come you did not talk about checking the front roller? Have you ever thought about doing a video on rebuilding front rollers and what to check for and or how to greet them properly? If so let me know I would like to do a video with you on showing how to do the proper techniques and why it is critical to check them.. keep up the good work.!
Would have been nice to include reinstall of the carpet. As it looks to be a real pain so I am looking for easier way to do it without getting the carpet edeges caught on top of the bounce plate brackets
where do I get the tool to hold back the front roller. I am a newb.. so go easy on me. I'm struggling with a front roller now. getting it out and over the bounce plate. any info is appreciated. thanks
You can get the bounce board out threw the back of the machine. Even if the machine is close to the back wall. I worked at a center that only had a 2ft clearance from the elevator to the back wall. Just lay the bounce board on the pin deck, and rotate it 180° and out the back of the machine it comes. You may have to angle one end up as it comes out to clear whatever is behind you. That way you can drop your sweep. Even with the boxes on the lane, someone can still throw a ball down the gutter at you. Better be safe, than sorry.
hi man, thank you for your video it's really great, I am the technician of 24 lane 82/90 in France since 2 month so i am à newby ^^", I have a small question, how do you do to reassemble the 2 right and left springs of the front roller if one of the 2 springs breaks? thank you again for your advice and techniques

Thnx bro. That was a big help. Havent changed a carpet in a year so the reminder was much needed. Good looking out.
the way he done it is the correct way i would never take the bounce board out from behind the pin wheel that adds like 1 hour to the job
Anyone know where to get those brackets he used on the hinge springs? Those would be handy.
use cut carpet to lay on pindeck then pull carpet out from the front as it will slide and protect your lane .

where do i get the brackets to remove the springs from front roller hinges?
looks like you had a better time with this than Rob Lowe from Dirty Jobs.
Good video
