    • @stop736
      @stop736 Pƙed 21 dnem +3

That’s absolutely true. I don’t know if you’ve served on a carrier or in an air wing squadron, but usually carriers will have somewhere around 50 planes with them. Give or take a few of course. Sometime’s they’ll have 60 or so too. Ninety is definitely possible, but logistically it’s a lot more demanding to have all those planes and the crew to repair and do all the maintenance stuff along with having the equipment to be able to do repairs or just PM’s. As well as fuel but that’s not usually too big of an issue if you’ve got a whole strike group supporting you. đŸ’Ș
But if we were in a no đŸ’© war, and it was necessary to have that kind of need for aircraft, then we’d throw whatever we have at them. This video gives Iran a bit more credit then it rates as far as military power is concerned.

What is the point of your videos when you look at them and they are all made in almost the same way. According to you, the US can't do anything alone, without allies, it can't defeat anyone without allies, and you keep mentioning that they have the strongest army. As for this video, the US would stomp on Iran in a month without the American boot stepping into Iran. Your videos and your statistics and analytics started to disappoint me. In the hypothetical scenario where tens of thousands of USA citizens are killed in an Iran terrorist attack, the response from the USA would indeed be overwhelming. Numerous long-range missiles would be deployed from air, sea, and land, leading to the rapid and significant loss of Iranian lives in retaliation. It is a complex and serious matter, and the USA will not hesitate to take decisive action in such a grave situation.

I can respect what is definitely a steel man representation of Iran's military capabilities but I feel like the US air defense is taken at its weekest possible capabilites. A carrier is vulnerable to missile and drone strikes but we don't send a carrier, we send carrier batle groups. We are far more likely to loose ships to submarines as it seems we are a bit week in antisub. If anything the US has shown extreme prowess in air defense. In all likely hood Iran would need to use an extremely large portion of its stockpile atriting fleet Aegis systems before it had any hope of mission killing a carrier let alone sinking one. And thinking that even a single lost ship wouldn't spark total war is rather wishfull. It's a well known international fact when it comes to the US "don't touch the boats".

Wouid be taking place with aircraft like the B-2, B-1, B-52, drones like the Reaper, Rapid dragon missile strikes, etc, second the US navy’s submarines are by far the best in the world by a country mile, they wouid be immediately causing chaos by launching cruise missiles into Iran and sinking Iranian ships, third American special forces wouid immediately be involved, im thinking a important part of their mission wouid be finding targets behind enemy lines, and last Everyday Americans are absolutely United when a enemy attacks the mainland and kills civilians, so expecting nothing short of that is not realistic

You could do with a bit more study in history if this seems plausible. U.S./NATO forces completely wrecked Iraq when it had the fourth most powerful army in the world, and more air defenses than any nation exempting Russia., not to mention a contingent of modern tanks numbering at least several thousand. A million soldiers, 700 aircraft, 5500 tanks. And it took six weeks to completely destroy that military, with so few coalition losses that the number of dead via enemy action (147) is about equal to the number of dead due to accident/mishap (145).
Iran currently has 587,000 soldiers, about 70 air superiority fighters (all of which were made before I was born), and a navy that is roughly the size of a rounding error for U.S. naval strength. Even for the region they aren't particularly powerful. They spend 2% of their GDP on defense, and most of that is focused on drones and cruise missiles. Something which U.S. warships and missile defenses have proven aren't all that effective presently. The U.S. spends 3% of a much, much higher GDP on defense, and actively builds new warships and fighters constantly. Almost all of Iran's navy and air force are hand-downs from the Soviet Union or pre-1970s U.S. inventory.
I'm not saying Iran couldn't put up a fight at all, but on their own they are absolutely no competition. And though much of the rest of the region might act like they hate the U.S. (and many people within them probably very much do), there are few that would be willing to face the consequences of a huge trade sanction package as Iran currently is working within.

Don't know much about military stuff, but quite a bit about Iranian politics, so two comments:
    1. The Iranian president is just a puppet of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who is also the commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic. So why is the president making all the decisions in this video while Khamenei is never mentioned?
    2. One very important thing missing in this scenario is the Iranian population. They widely oppose the regime but are in general very patriotic. So they could assist in bringing down a weakened regime as well as fiercely support the defence when they see their nation threatened - completely depending on the US behaviour.

I dont think Iran would want to go head to head for the long term. Im sure they will use all their missiles and drones within the first week. They know the longer they hold these weapons, the more likely theyll be taken out. Week 2-4 Iran will use all their special op forces and do special missions to try and do as much damage as they can to US navy and allies. The special forces attacks are strategic and meant to lure US into Iran. IF US sends soldiers into Iran, Iranian soldiers will be waiting and do their best to hold the mountains. This is also strategic because it will give Iranian soldiers back in their main cities time to take off their uniforms, and simply wait. This is when we will see the most blood shed on both sides. Saying it will be Afghanistan 2.0 is a under statement. I think within the first 2 weeks of the ground invasion, the death count wil be higher then the decades combined in Afghanistan.

Pretty much all their valuable military hardware is safely stored away deep underground in reinforced subterranean facilities which are almost certainly immune to conventional strikes, most of them would likely survive megaton ground burst nuclear strikes unscathed. Their hardware is safe for as long as they need it, but I do agree that they will likely use the majority of their ballistic missiles very quickly, as Iranian doctrine prioritizes massive missile and drone salvos to overwhelm countermeasures, therefore Iran will likely consume most of their ballistic missiles soon after the outbreak or potentially open with them in a somewhat surprise attack before air defenses can be hardened and targets prepared sufficiently, though they will know almost as soon as the missiles begin launching.

at around 21.11 western Australian time I just watched what I thought was a plane appear as I looked at the moon and then tried to figure out which was Venus . I saw It move oddly then concentrated on keeping the stars around it as part of a pic like stepping back and looking at the whole building and it bounced around flashing white red blue and green lights (later also green) . I have never seen any aircraft move like that and it traveled at a very high speed , faster than any military jet which often fly over here it kept moving erratically bent it's course in then out seaward .THERE WAS NO NOISE EXCEPT THE SURF AND PROB A BLIND DOG HITTING TIN AS DODGE BUMPS INTO IT IN THE HOUSE BEHIND WHICH WAS WHAT BROUGHT ME OUT TO SEE IF IT WAS OR TO OFFER HELP IF THEY OR HER WAS MOVING TIN SHEETS. THE OBJECT WAS HIGH AND I FIRST THOUGH ISS STATION UNTIL IT BOUNCED AROUND , IT ALSO DIDN'T COME UP OVER THE HORIZON IT WAS SUDDENLY THERE ??? IT PASTED OVERHEAD NO NOISE SEEMED TO SLIDE SIDEWAYS THEN A BIT LONGER WENT SIDEWAYS AND SUDDENLY UP . the speed it would have to travel across made me think maybe about to be nuked and have cancer am dying so would have turned to miss flash so not blinded but would watch the mushroom cloud ; I love fireworks . seen min min lights in N.T and outback QLD but this ???? aircraft only flash red and white , make sound even when high up and take about 12 to 18 min to cross fighters maybe 9 mins quickest Ive seen this 6 to 7 minutes . would love to confirm air traffic but the aliens exist question ? answered ?

History is amazing. I’m seeing so many Americans touting their technological superiority against a more conventional enemy.. the same thing they did to Vietnam.
Iran might not have DARPA making them interdimensional portals but surely they know how to make an EMP.
Don’t be so naive. America lost in a war game against Iran.. or ‘Red Team’ [definitely Iran] because the general worked smarter and not harder.
Embarrassingly, the US had to script the game (i interpret this to be nerfing Red Team) to make it look like a victory or to be able to achieve victory.
I understand technology has progressed by then, but not only just for America.
Don’t go nerfing the enemy in your own minds. You may win in the end but like with Germany in WWI and Japan in WWII you will be lashed, and in the case of Afghanistan it will not be a cut and dry case like you thought it would be.
    Food for thought.

This is all highly unrealistic.. on several points, mainly..
In a situation where US is hit in the homeland it would raise irreversible war .. same as it did during 911... its human nature and the way of things. People wouldnt be scared to peace ; its the same mistake all aggressors make when they attack a nations civilian populations especially... There is a sort of blurred line you can cross and make it back behind it again ; but a major attack doesn't provide that.
If an attack happened like that the rest would be similar to the response after pearl harbour... and fear of "getting sucked into war" ... that ship will have well and truly sailed.
Once a full scale war happens and people have died.. its on.. and it wont stop and go back to negotiations.. thats just unrealistic. History teaches us that much.. a nation will not negotiate after it is attacked unless it doesnt have the means to fight.. which obviously doesnt apply to this situation. The video also underestimates the destructive power and how quickly that would happen if US air power is in a gloves off fight..
This is all why it is very important to ensure that an aggressor never miscalculates.
Frankly, if people have died due to proxy attacks.. Biden wouldnt have the political ability to negotiate out of all out war.. even if he wanted to.. he would be swept along by events.
